Makes reviewing video assessments easier
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to post comments as you review student videos

Nothing! The product functions very well. Makes it easy to review student videos.

We use Go React to review student health assessment videos.

I like that GoReact not only allows you to review videos, but gives a variety of options for feedback.

More user friendly with Blackboard or ability to use an app for students
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue GoReact has solved was remote supervision during Covid restrictions. Also ability for supervisors to give more feedback on lessons
GoReact Great for Interpreter Training Programs
What do you like best about the product?
I loved being able to utilize the video features. As an American Sign Language interpreting student going through my undergraduate program, we used GoReact for several assignment submissions. It allowed the professors to pause our videos and provide video feedback at different time intervals making it easy to know exactly what they were referring to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the cost is a little prohibitive. I have wanted to use GoReact post-graduation to provide feedback for interpreting students I've started to mentor but having to pay $30 for a limited use has prevented a few mentees from using this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing real time feedback/video feedback is critical for a visual language such as American Sign Language. It's difficult to provide written feedback to a language that can not be written.
Great in concept, clunky in reality
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact was invented by my mentor and his intention was to provide students feedback directly connected to what they were saying or doing when they said it. This is a great concept.
What do you dislike about the product?
After all these years, I'm sad to see what GoReact has become. I use it embedded in Canvas, and it's pretty unusable with rubrics. My students can't see the rubrics in advance and the window is so small, I can barely see it myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem GoReact is really solving at this point, is it puts all the videos in one place and I don't have to download them. I love not having to download each student's video onto my computer. But then other Cloud platforms will solve that problem too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GoReact is really an older form of Loom. If you want to respond to someone's video in real time, I recommend you check out Loom instead. I use it with my students way more often than I do GoReact. If you want to add a rubric, GoReact is the better choice for now.
GoReact: Effectively and Safely Supporting Teacher Candidates
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very accessible and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, my students have trouble uploading larger videos (but this is probably a user issue).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The pivots that public schools are experiencing due to COVID-19 are frequent these days. It is convenient, safe, and reliable to have a platform like GoReact, to ensure that the teacher candidates are still able to receive ongoing feedback on their instruction!

I have to turn off the voice often. Need to improve to auto off voice

Need improving to have students giving feedback to other students. That;s all
I like how it gives immediate feedback to my student teachers.
What do you like best about the product?
That GoReact is able to pinpoint exactly where my student teachers are/are not meeting teaching standards. I can give them comments and/or suggestions so they can understand what objective they are hitting.

I don't dislike anything from GoReact. IT is very user friendly and the times when I did need support, I received a quick response quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I able able to observe my student teachers without the pressure of me physically being there in the classroom. The pandemic has made it difficult for university supervisors to go in the classroom to observe so GoReact gives us a great option to see how our student teachers are doing.

User friendly and they provide a lot of training.

I love that I can observe student teachers in their schools even though I can't visit their schools during Covid

Nothing! It's interactive and super helpful.

I can observe students without visiting their schools and we can watch back their work to reflect on the lesson

What do you like best about the product?
I love that GoReact enables me to give feedback that is aligned with specific behaviors that I'm monitoring. I love to leave comments via text and video depending on the setting and context that I'm leaving the feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downsides to using GoReact are the complex cost structures. I use it as a b2b kind of user rather than from a university or institution license level. I would like to see a simplified pricing model I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to monitor applicant's skill levels and review "auditions" from prospective employees and vendors. I find myself having everything organized as a result of GoReact, rather than having videos in different places.

See if you can get a trial account to try out for a day or two. I think you'll be hooked!

What do you like best about the product?
GoReact's features make it easy to post a video and have others give you feedback on the content. It's easy to review others' videos and comment to give them feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was an app or something that could be logged into other than the webpage. It would make it easy for me to post to GoReact right from my phone.

Connecting with colleagues is easy with GoReact. Receiving and giving feedback is easy with GoReact!
