Intuiative, Interesting, and Easy

  • August 02, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about GoReact is how intuitive the tool is. With a diverse set of options for each assignment type, the amount of ways you can use the tool is staggering. GoReact gives you a solid template, but with enough space for you to make some creative decisions. It is always very exciting to see the original and creative ways professors are using GoReact in their classrooms.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to having a tool that is so intuitive is that there is a lot to learn, but once you do learn it, it is easy to use. There is a bit of a learning curve with GoReact, especially with its integration with D2L Brightspace. There are a lot of moving parts since the tool can do so much. Learning how to use GoReact and all of the extra things it can do is definitely worth it in the long run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the biggest problem I see GoReact solving as of recently is connection with students, classmates, and instructors especially in this day and age of remote, blended, and online teaching. Having a tool like this for remote presentations, debates, and speeches is extremely helpful not that classes cannot meet in person.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest looking up creative ways to use GoReact. The GoReact website itself has some great ideas on how to creatively use the service. This way, students will find using GoReact refreshing and fun.

An awesome tool for pre-service teachers

What do you like best about the product?
What's not to love? With GoReact, I can instantly give students feedback on their lessons. There are multiple ways I can respond (text, video, uploading a file). With the timestamps, the students can correlate my feedback/suggestions with an exact moment within their lesson. As a teacher, I can also see their reflection prompts within the script as well. It is an amazing, multi-faceted tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some students seem to have difficulty uploading videos based on their file size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Covid really helped us see the benefits of using GoReact since we couldn't be in schools. However, it has also been helpful with giving timely feedback to so many students. As we move forward in a non-Covid world, it will still be utilized because it does help save time (both in travel and in giving the student the feedback).

Fantastic way to grade nursing students' skill performances!

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing that GoReact offers is time-stamped feedback. This feature allows the instructor to interject comments at the exact moment an action occurs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of using GoReact is that sometimes students have issues with the recordings. However, the customer service is great and the issues are typically resolved very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving faculty time! It is faster and more convenient to grade videos.

Focused is on higher education. Limited Corporate/HR training usage.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The product works great for audience response and student engagement. Anyone can use the ppt. plugin to create questions ahead of time without a license. Their customer service has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The off-line login is cumbersome. There is a feature to remember your credentials for off-line logging in but it does not work. This is problematic when there is not access to WiFi to validate license credentials. The focus of the product offerings are on with higher education customers where some of cost is differed to the student and they can take advantage of on-line features and app. The only way to take advantage of most features is to require attendees or participants to download an app which works for internal employees and students but not so much with corporate customers, adult education, conferences, and tradeshow applications. We use the response cards which limits the features and options available. Not a fan of using G2 to solicit feedback. There are other, less invasive feedback tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the response cards to add engagement in corporate learning, conferences, conventions and adult education training courses. The realized benefit is the increased student engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an audience engagement tool it will do that just fine. It is a very pricy option for just engagement, especially if you are only going to be an occasional user. All of the features beyond simple response require audiences or students to download the app. Requires internet access for use which can be cost prohibitive at a convention, trade show or conference. You also have to take into consideration time for new uses downloading and learning the app.

Staying Connected in a Remote World

  • March 05, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
Turning allows you to stay connected to participants and colleagues even in a virtual environment. Turning allows you to strategically place live surveys, word clouds, and other content to obtain real-time feedback from your meeting attendees. This type of content is a key factor in keeping your audience focused and engaged, and I highly suggest incorporating this software into all of your meetings!
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times where the software didn't properly save feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Participant engagement and helping the attendees feel apart of the conversation. This software gives the meeting attendees a bigger voice.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Voting Made Easy

  • March 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This easily tied into Powerpoint and offers multiple ways for the voters to provide their vote.
What do you dislike about the product?
We couldn't find an easy way to tie it into a totally virtual vote that met the parameters of our population. This was really more our issue because our parameters are very complex. It meets them for a live vote, just not the virtual vote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated the counting of votes and documenting those votes to coincide with the bylaws of our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
We like that we can use one program for all of the current programs. We like the versatility and the easy usage. We liked the technical team and the customer service that we are able to use all of the time. We love having feed back and input on future development.
What do you dislike about the product?
We did not like not having the ability to see as many screens of attendees, nor waiting for turning point and exam view integration but are promised that it is coming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving our issue of using too many programs and frustration. Benefits are beyond comprehension. This will allow us to use the teachers time more effectively and make learning easier.

Increasing engagement in virtual training and orientation sessions. Most people are willing to participate if it is fun. :)
