Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is for students and instructors to use. The help section is one of the best I've encountered.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little "picky". For instance, student presentation slide are only accepted in PDF format...not PPT or Google Slides or any other digital presentation program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem solved for me is this provides a way for students to see what they say/do when delivering a speech. Since the research indicates that watching ourselves is one of the best ways to improve as a public speaker, this is important to me and my college. I don't see the students in "Advanced Public Speaking" to know if there is improvement only because that course does not exist at my college.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to the people at GoReact if you're considering this, The worst that is going to happen is that,. for one reason or the other, you'll end up not using it.

What do you like best about the product?
Navigation in the platform is very intuitive. In addition, the ease of setting up rubrics, the ability for students to quickly view comments, and for the instructor to see if comments have been provided by students are excellent features. I didn't realize how easy it really is to use until our program asked us to pilot different software for a semester. I can't wait to use GoReact again, and I have experience with a top competitor!
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, when we started using GoReact, some (just a few) students struggled with loading files. I don't know if the platform has changed, but we didn't receive similar complaints this semester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems at all. If I have had questions, tech support is extremely supportive and responsive. In addition, we even had a minor confusion with missing accounts. When I emailed to check on the situation, I received a personal response within an hour!
When using a competitor's software, I realized that I was hindered in my ability to set up scoring rubrics, develop assignments, etc. I had to request that someone else set these things up, and then keep requesting that tweak the assignments. With GoReact I have control over setting up assignments, creating/editing rubrics and developing tags that are specific to our needs. I love not having to wait for someone else to create it. I can do it myself.
Our program will definitely continue using GoReact.

GoReact is the Software I Didn't Know I Needed!
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact not only was the answer to all of our needs as we transitioned into online therapy training after the beginning of the COVID-19. It has completely enhanced our training practices. It is easy to use and simple to understand. I couldn't be happier with it! We have used it to record telehealth sessions in our clinic and to teach therapeutic skills in clinical classes. I've also used it to measure skill development. It greatly enhances the type of feedback I can give to my students.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are one or two downsides. For example, if you are recording video through a web conference call (e.g. zoom; which we use for clinical services) it will not record the computer audio if you are using headphones. We have tried all sorts of fixes, but haven't ever been able to get that to work.
Unfortunately, the web conferencing doesn't always work very well either. Anytime I've had more than 3 people, we've had issues with sharing screens and people getting kicked out of the meeting. It is certainly not as effective as other web conferencing softwares.

It has given us a way to supervise clinical services that are being offered via telehealth. It gives us the capacity to do so in a way that is HIPAA compliant too.

Lifelong GoReact User!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the multitude of options GoReact offers for activities. I use it for quizzes, exams, interactive dialogue samples, student skill development logs, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the video playback speed could be increased just a bit more to 2.5-3X speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems, just benefits here! Our whole department utilizes GoReact across all courses we offer
A valuable tool for ASL instruction
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to pause and make captioned commentary on video submissions by students. It cuts down the work for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish presenting PowerPoint or other media worked better while simultaneously watching the presenter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Students rarely went back and watched their performances when given feedback. They would simply read the feedback. Now, they have easy access to view exactly what I am commenting on

The top-notch features for ASL learning
What do you like best about the product?
I love the features that supports my students' learning and language development, especially helped me as an ASL educator. I often find myself save a lot of time and ability to spend more time in quality of direct feedback. I also love the sense of classroom engagement within the GoReact that is where many of students enjoyed it very much. The direct feedback (stamps) are so heaven!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that GoReact is somewhat expensive for my students. I wish there would be a cheaper fee for a low SES students. I see too many struggles for my students to buy this and the textbook. There is another I dislike that GoReact is not compatible to many other small learning management system like D2L.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoReact helped me a lot with specific feedbacks for my students. It helps a lot with my students' understanding and language development. I also in school where I use GoReact as a student to have a dynamic discussion with my cohort. It is always inspiring and elevating the sense of classroom. I now able to let my students take the test without my presence. That is amazing feature that is helpful.

I would highly recommend you to get started with GoReact to see how can GoReact supports your learning, teaching and experience in online education. I have been using GoReact over 10 years and see so many new features implemented. GoReact has evolved a big time since a decade. It is a trustworthy and reliable platform you can use for your teaching and learning.

A Great Resource for Teaching Music
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to provide feedback through a variety of modalities (text, audio, video) at specific times within the video of the performer/teacher/student. This provides opportunities to select the best method of delivery for the assessment or critique that needs to be shared at that specific moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing! The platform worked well for me and my students. The only thing negative I could select would be that, although easy to learn, it is one additional platform that my students have to learn in order to participate in my course. Their plates are already full with Moodle, Google Classroom, Flipgrid, and all the other platforms that other instructors use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoReact allows me to assess student music performances, student conducting experiences, and teaching internship. All three of these benefit from the ability to record performance/teaching sessions and evaluating them after the fact and enabling reflection from the student and assessment from the instructor. This is convenient for remote teaching/learning and in-person sessions as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the free "walk-through" provided by the team. This was incredibly helpful in getting me started with the software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like GoReact because of its simplicity! It is easy both on teacher and students as far as grading purposes. It's assignment, video, and feedback all in once! I have used GoReact for almost three years and I have never had any issues! I chose it for all my ASL classes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish GoReact grades would transfer over to main programs such as Blackboard, Canvas, or MyCourses. That is the only down fall is having to write down grades to be imported in those programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping solve time consuming and downloading issues with Youtube and other programs. Go React is simple and has great features within!
