Accurate Feedback Resource
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to provide students accurate feedback on specific sign articulation. I can provide the feedback via video or typed English. I have observed skills improved because of this method of feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some issues with uploading videos to different sections of the same course. Students have also registered and uploaded videos to a course but then are unable to transfer the video to the correct course for grading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time efficiency has been the biggest benefit of using GoReact. Some signers sign at an extremely slow pace, with GoReact I can increase the speed of the video and still provide accurate feedback.
Consolidating assignments is another benefit. Adding to assignment rubrics to the assignment on GoReact has been and awesome features

What do you like best about the product?
I love how when I'm giving feedback, the video stops at a specific point and lets me write out my thoughts, and then resumes when I'm done writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a huge fan of GoReact not being as compatible with Canvas for an online learning environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem being solved is the lack of communication and feedback in an online course. GoReact certainly helps with solving that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product that is worth its weight in the educational field.
Multi-Camera Option Ideal for Debate and Small Group Classes
What do you like best about the product?
The multi-camera option allows me to view both student engagement as an audience member while simultaneously watching the speeches. I love the fast forward function which allows me to grade faster and review multiple steps. My students always remark that they like have a private server/interface for our class to easily upload videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Canvas is a bit clunky. I hate when my students pause at strange moments during their recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My students with poor bandwidth have trouble with their camera in zoom because both video and live slides buffer and cause delays in their live presentation. GoReact has allowed me to assign a group presentation where the entire group is required to be present during recording (using multi-camera). Students have also made up debates using this same feature. Zoom does not allow students to record in a breakout room so GoReact has become the "space" where these group interactions occur. Furthermore, the students get support from GoReact when they are facing technology issues which has taken the burden of being tech support for my students away from me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small and assign small anchoring tasks like record a thirty second recap of research you found for your presentation. I found assigning small tasks early in the semester helped students build confidence with the platform and caused more students to register sooner than the night before an assignment is due.
GoReact is an absolute necessity!
What do you like best about the product?
It allows students to submit videos of themselves performing the administration of cognitive tests. I or my graduate assistant can comment on specific areas of strength and areas for improvement. This was really not possible to do before because of the all the difficulties watching videos uploaded to youtube and not really being able to comment on specific parts without a lot of extra work. It is so efficient. I know my students are learning more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish GoReact had an anonymous commentor feature or allowed me to capture the comments of my graduate assistant so they could be anonymous. It would also be nice to be able to release feedback on individual videos from an assignment while hiding the comments on other videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, it is improving the performance of my students with a skill that is absolutely necessary for practicing in the field.

What do you like best about the product?
Nice clean interface. Easy to use. Easy for my students to understand. Customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the type while viewing feature doesn't work properly. Otherwise no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teaching in a pandemic. I teach voice lessons, so I am able to have my students upload a video and I can provide video feedback. I can also have students react to other students' videos by giving constructive comments, encouraging the students to think critically and apply it to their own growth.
Best tool for reviewing speeches - hands down!
What do you like best about the product?
This tool allows me to offer moment-by-moment commentary on student speeches so they understand what was "excellent" and what "needs improvement" with a time stamp instead of the traditional way I used to have to use of a general comment on the speech as a whole. The ability to create my own rubrics and have peers use rubrics to offer peer commentary is also a perk. Short cut "buttons" allow me to quickly make comments (and peers as well) which makes grading fast and efficient. In short, once I found GoReact, I was able to sell the program to not only the department but also to the college as a whole.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a downside to GoReact. The college bought a license (which made pricing the most cost effective for students) which allows me to use it in all of my classes. Once administration saw the demonstration and heard the raves from professors - it was an easy sell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to highlight deficits as they occur in speeches instead of as a general comment at the end on a sheet of paper. Student speeches have improved. In COVID times, it has been a fantastic asset as I am not able to see student speeches in person but with GoReact, it feels as if I am almost in-person with them.
In-depth Video analysis in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to set up, ability to really do fine-grain analysis of teaching and learning, and the ability to comment on video of classrooms at the exact moment to which you are referring. Students don't have issues with losing video when they record into Go React.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes long videos cause upload problems for my students if they are not uploading directly to go react.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote supervision of student teachers. Giving detailed, timed feedback to students for a fine-grained analysis of teaching and learning- we hadn't had the ability for the feedback to be in the moment of the teaching practice.
GoReact is a perfect tool for Intern Teachers Supervision
What do you like best about the product?
I like that GoReact allows peer-observation which allows intern teachers to observe their peer teaching and do self-reflection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intern teachers always complain to me that the video file is too large to upload to GoReact. They have to 'cut' the video into two or three parts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, I have not sent this comment to GoReact.
The program is very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The program is very easy for all users. Anyone can figure it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the option for the video to continue while I type.

The ability for students to view themselves in the exact same time/space that I am observing them. That makes the feedback more powerful.
Efficient and User Friendly App for Grading
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to make thorough, meaningful feedback for students far beyond what I could do without. The markers and text comments have really improved how I help students learn from their successes and mistakes. I like that I can also add an audio comment at the end to summarize their evaluation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of much right now. I have not had any problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With virtual education, GoReact has allowed me to grade speeches in a meaningful way without being able to be present with the students. I find it possible to connect to students really nicely through my evals, as well as their self- and peer-evals. I have had the benefit of seeing the students have meaningful interactions with one another as they critique each other's work.

If you need a way to evaluate student performance, this platform will ensure you are able to provide meaningful connections and feedback with ease.
