GoReact has been a lifesaver while working with students in our ASLIT Program.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of grading and the convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work from home or in the office. On the go work is amazing!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Grading and Evaluations are easier on GoReact than requiring each students to have their own way of saving data that you may or may not be able to access. You can access and work on your projects in GoReact anywhere where you have an internet connection.

What do you like best about the product?
GoReact is very helpful and convenient. It was especially useful during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. I was able to my students' work with their videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading videos takes a while to do. It can range from 20 minute to 2 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many benefits. I can record a skill, let my students see it, and they are able to record their own skill.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is not a waste of money. It can actually save much of your time.

Ability to provide actionable feedback to our teacher candidates
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a way to mark a beginning and end to a time period within a video (in addition to standalone time stamps).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many problems are being solved by GoReact. First and foremost, it saves faculty time and travel expenses for observation purposes - especially for students that have taken durational shortage positions outside of our catchment area. Second, it currently allows up to provide supervision in schools that do not allow visitors due to the pandemic. Third, it allows up to provide meaningful assignments to our students in lieu of field placements (due to the pandemic). Finally, we are able to use it as a platform for conducting departmental interviews virtually.
Feedback made easy
What do you like best about the product?
the interface is very easy to use and it allows teachers to give a ton of individualized feedback very easily. It is very organized and allows for templates and other data to be a stored and reused easily. The team at GoReact is super helpful and always answers my emails completely. They have a large collection of webinars that are very useful for troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
My school is very unfounded and we couldn’t afford a subscription this year. I wish it was free!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because if COVID, I do not have students in the building, it is very difficult to give them feedback during a zoom class. And learning a visual language is very hard to begin with! GoReact allows students to show me what they have learned and I can give them better feedback to improve their ASL skills. It saves me time by having so many shortcuts and the library to use from. Also it allows students to work at their own pace to complete an assignment. As a teacher with very limited extra time, GoReact saves me so much time by having all of their videos at my fingertips. No more searching through google drive to find videos!

That is not like EdPuzzle, being able to embed questions into the video itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me check for understanding and knowledge of my students.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to comment on my videos for assignments. I love how it pauses the video so I can type my comment freely and then when I submit it, the video keeps playing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how how sometimes when I review my recorded video to critique it, the original audio source does not play. The videos don’t play so I can’t tell which part of the original source I am at in my recorded source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m benefitting from it because it is helping me get my degree in Sign Language Interpreting.

Do it! It’s so helpful
GoReact is a fabulous tool for grading ASL videos.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the time-stamp feature that places comments under the video at the exact time I am commenting. I also love having the EIS materials in my library.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike that there is no automatic notification of when comments are made on an assignment. I spend the time to give feedback to my students and i tell them they need to check for new feedback on their own. It because they don’t receive a notification like an email when they receive comments, they usually miss them. I also sometimes don’t realize a student commented to me after I have given them comments. It is time consuming to go back and recheck every student and every assignment.
I would also like to see more access in the library to other texts besides EIS.
My students and I have not found a way to attach a Word document to an assignment without first creating a video. But sometimes I don’t need a video from them- just a written assignment related to the stimulus materials.
Also sometimes the grades I enter do not automatically post in the Grade Center but sometimes they do. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong there but haven’t figured it out yet.

The interface and features allow students to practice the language they are learning in ways that mimic face-to-face learning which helps speed up and solidify the language acquisition process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to set up at times, and occasionally it doesn't quite give you what you want in terms of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping students practice language in an environment where they otherwise wouldn't be able to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really understand the platform and all the benefits it provides when considering it, there can be a lot more to it than meets the eye.

What do you like best about the product?
Wow ... where do I start? If you're involved with assessing ASL interpreting skills, language fluency, or assigning homework/exams to ITP students, you MUST get GoReact! This user-friendly system saves time and keeps everything centrally located. Peer review, mentor feedback (both in English & ASL possible), and self-assessments can happen all in one place! This TOTALLY beats uploading content to YouTube, saving ASL videos on USB drives, etc. Simply upload your source material, then begin interpreting! Wow. This software has singlehandedly lightened the interpreter education/assessment workload. Best platform ever!

1) Source material videos glitch and garble sometimes if the user is relying on WiFi.
2) Having to update browsers often can be cumbersome.
3) Introducing multiple users daily for one-time use requires more tech support than students using one login throughout a semester.

But none of these issues will stop us from loving GoReact!

There is a lot to learn before using it.

I can still observe my student teacher without physically going to the school.
