It has worked seamlessly with my online American Sign Language Class.
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for my students to use. I have easy access to assess their signing skills and give feedback. I also like the availability of the recording app, for those with weak internet. Being able to give feedback either video or written at the exact moment of their error or success, is very helpful. I have had students give me feedback that they really appreciate that. I can use it with my Universities server, Canvas. I am able to keep track of all the different sections I have. It also 'stores' my classes from before, so if a student has a question or issue, I have the video and feedback to refer back to. I love the multiple camera option. This has been a game changer for me, in terms of assessing their partner skills. This is a large component of ASL. I do not have the time to individually partner with each student to assess skills, so I can require this partner work to do that for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the recording app could do the multiple camera option. I have some students that do not have strong internet, so use it for their recording, but can not for their partner work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My courses are online, therefore I needed a platform be able to view my students signing. I could use something like zoom, but the ability to leave both video or written feedback is priceless.

Get this service if you teach American Sign Language. It is an amazing tool to help with skill assessment.

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the markers and the feeling thermometer. It really lets folks know how they're doing at every moment. I also really enjoy how much students are able to interact with each other during peer reviews. Not only can I use a rubric to grade, my students can grade each other, or themselves, with the same rubric. I've also used the software as a tool for students to amend the rubrics as they go along. Having the rubric as part of the software allows them to see how they would judge themselves and others in real time. This is definitely the easiest way to implement this and share the reviews with everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The stimulus prompt doesn't stop playing when the speaker starts to record. It would be nice to be able to have the video play or stop during that speech prompt. I also think a bit more nuance to that feel thermometer would be helpful. If you could have particular adjustments, based on delivery or on the content itself, that would be another way to easily grade outside of the markers themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to run a hybrid classroom with ease during the pandemic. I cannot imagine being able to synchronize all my students' presentations without this particular software.

Just do it. It's worth the cost.

GoReact is simple to use but as you engage with it you quickly see that it has a host of ways to deepen online learning. It is so much more organic then zoom!

I love using it for final presentations in class. It’s so much better then making people sit though a 3 hour zoom session of people doing google slides presentations over and over. . .

GoReact makes it very easy to provide feedback at the exact moment where students need it. Support is fantastic - they seriously make the time to provide support for you and your students.

I have not found anything that I dislike.

Students are able to see exactly where they did well and where they need to improve.

Nothing - I love it! This is a great system for remote observations.

I love the seamless and efficient grading capability.

I haven't yet found a downside of using GoReact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems using GoReact. I love not just the capability for providing quality feedback--through multiple ways (on presentation, rubric)--and students' ability to easily access and consume that feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the best presentation-assignment platform I have seen. Not only am I able to set up an assignment quickly and easily--including all presentation requirements I need, but students are able to quickly and easily access and review the feedback provided on their work. Best of all, it's the one learning platform I've used in which students have never complained about a glitch, etc. In general, GoReact is a robust platform that makes the busy lives of students and instructors easier without sacrificing usefulness/productivity.

GoReact is amazing! :-) Students can get and give feedback. I can give feedback privately or openly. I love the tool and wish I had had it many years ago when I first started teaching. It would have saved me so much time!!!!

I wish there were more ways of testing students using GoReact. It doesn't quite fit my needs in that area.

Time saving is the biggest advantage. Gone are the days of using VHS tapes or YouTube! Whew! So thankful for GoReact! :-)
Additionally, I can give feedback in a variety of methods including videotaped! Perfect for teaching ASL! I love it!!
