I would recommend because it is very user friendly

I like that it keeps my settings the same.

I don't like that the video can glitch sometimes.

I don't really have any problems with it. Benefits include seeing other student's videos along with mine, more exposure to others!

GoReact will SAVE you time
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the video pauses when you make comments on student presentations. I also like that it integrates with out LMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the price has steadily gone up over the years. I think I initially had students pay $15, and now it is $30. It is just hard to legitimize for a course to just record presentations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online Presentations, easy go to and well integrated into LMS, without clicking a bunch of buttons.

It is very easy to use and students seem to have little to no issues using it.

Some of the features that coincide with Canvas integration.

As a communication professor, it is a great way for students to record their speech assignments.

If yo want a tool that helps record and asses content, I would highly recommend this product.
GoReact has been a great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in ways to assess along with integration with our LMS makes this tool my favorite method of assessment for ASL. It allows students the ability to improve their language skills and see their mistakes and successes, and instructors can get through grading more quickly with the use of markers. The rubric and scoring integration with the LMS reduces the data entry required for grading. I am a big fan!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish we could have added is the ability to post videos with quiz questions to gauge understanding. If we had that capability, we would not need to use any other assessment platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to find different ways to analyze student language development. During the pandemic, students were able to continue to interact together in video discussions (synchronously and asynchronously). Many of my colleagues in other disciplines who don't use GoReact used a tool that was an inferior copy, and there were all kinds of technical issues. We didn't skip a beat...we just kept finding new ways to use what we already had and sailed through the rest of the semester.

What do you like best about the product?
GoReact's LMS integration and dynamic but easy-to-use grading/marking interface are standout features that have made grading presentations – for in-person and online courses – more efficient and rich.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's almost nothing to dislike about GoReact. All problems we've encountered have been addressed and/or solved very quickly via Dustin Ferguson, our account manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoReact provides added value for our Communication Studies program by: streamlining program/course assessment, enhancing the value and richness of instructor feedback, saving instructors time (especially in online courses), offering flexible digital settings for a variety of events and activities (e.g., speech review assignments, live events, and standard presentations, etc.), and have sped up our adoption of a new learning management system on our campus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth the investment for both in-person and remote educational experiences that involve any form of presentation or performance.
Great tool for teaching American Sign Language
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the ability to give feedback on assignments in text or video form that is time-coded to the work that was submitted. This allows students to see the feedback or correction at the moment the mistake is made in their assignment. It also allows me to grade and provide feedback that is more complete. If I were to grade in-person in real-time, important things can be missed. Students can also view the feedback more than once -- a feature not available when giving feedback in class.
The system is also relatively easy to use on both the instructor and student sides. I was the only faculty member in my department using GoReact when the pandemic hit and classes moved to remote delivery. I was able to quickly teach my sign language faculty how to connect their Canvas courses with GoReact, set up assignment, and record feedback. We connect our Canvas courses with GoReact so students only need to use one platform to submit their assignments. The grades I give them automatically populate to Canvas which is very convenient.

There isn't much to dislike about this product. GoReact was really good when they started, and they've only continued to improve.
I don't care for the cost of this product. Our textbook is already expensive and requiring an additional $30 access code can be a barrier for students. I wish our book could be bundled with the code -- some textbooks are. I'd like to see more of an effort from GoReact to establish these connections with textbook publishers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Originally, I was only using it in one course to eliminate the need for in-class presentations and to give me more class time for instruction. Now that all of my courses are taught remotely, I use it out of necessity -- I need a way to provide feedback to students that is more effective than in a crowded zoom meeting.

I love the time-stamped comments, and the ability to break apart speeches in every way!
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like the customer experience. I was using this in my public speaking coaching business and my clients found it difficult to log in and find the assessments. A mobile app where they could record would be best as well.
I also did not like the payment options. I paid on my end so that my clients wouldn't have to, but in the end that got confusing as I had to create an account for them.

Great value and a great program, but registration and payment are not client-friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to grade videos in one place and not having to download - but can start watching the video. One thing thatI also love is that I can leave comments at specific times instead of leaving comments and writing down time stamps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there is a system or a way to turn on notifications to alert students that I left a comment on their videos.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciated the ease at posting videos and responding to others! Within our virtual world, GoReact provided an in-person atmosphere even online. The videos were personal and interactive!
What do you dislike about the product?
If I wanted to return to a particular site and respond to others, sometimes the site was no longer available for receiving responses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new teacher coach, GoReact has been beneficial for responding to questions new teachers have posted. Also, it is a good resource for posting classroom videos/strategies that are useful for others. With the virtual setting, GoReact provides a more in-person experience. It provides a more connectedness with colleagues.
