ASL...worth it!
What do you like best about the product?
Able to record myself to correct their mistakes. Set up rubric.
What do you dislike about the product?
No time limit for quiz or test. I mean a time limit for each question...but I like the time limit for the whole test/quiz. I need time limit for each question of test and quiz.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to grade, show their errors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GoReact...easy to use and quite friendly! You can create your own quiz/test/assignments with ease.
I've had an overall great experience using GoReact!
What do you like best about the product?
I used GoReact to practice interpreting to and from American Sign Language. I love being able to see the stimulus and my recording at the same time. From the other side of the coin, I also liked how easy it was to create assignments for students. I love that there are so many different ways to set up assignments so they fit the needs of the students. Using it for ASL instruction, I never had to search far to find exactly the right format for my assignments. It even worked great to replace what would have traditionally been in class participation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime the software was a bit finicky. For example, sometimes when I would try to move to a different spot in the stimulus video, it would get all out of sync, and the audio from the beginning would play over the video from later on. Sometimes it would take several tries, refreshes, and other troubleshooting to try to get the audio and the video to line up. Fortunately, most of the time I didn't have this problem.
Another thing I dislike about GoReact is its limited functionality for phone and tablet users. As a heavy iPad user myself, I can do just about anything on its browser that a regular computer can do. One of the things I still can't use is GoReact. At least when trying to work with a stimulus video, I couldn't get it to work. It worked just fine from the set-up side of things, and I was able to use it to create assignments for students. As a student myself, I know there are lots of others like me who use tablets as their daily driver nowadays, and those students would benefit from being able to experience full functionality either through an app or their browser.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to improve a lot with my ASL interpreting, due to the easy process of giving feedback. It makes it easy for students to act on their feedback as well. The best part is the intuitive nature of giving feedback. I especially loved how all I had to do was start typing and it would stop the video and I could type whatever I wanted. It required very little work for something which you can't really do with other softwares. That, to me, is probably one of the best benefits of using GoReact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely advise using GoReact, especially for teaching things which benefit from a visual aspect. In using it, one thing I found is that using a stimulus video works best with a strong wifi connection.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach news and social video production, and I like to offer as much feedback as I can to students when they produce them. It's hard being able to tell them they have a good nut graph or they have a jump cut they need to fix when I just have to rely on timestamps. With GoReact, I can insert my comments directly on their videos. I also also suggest other clips or shots they can use. I can even upload my own cuts of their videos. It's a great system for feedback and collaboration. I just wish my university covered it because it can be a bit expensive for students after they have already purchased a textbook for the course.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I really love the feedback and tagging features so take advantage of them. This does a lot more than VoiceThread of Panopto, so take a few of the training videos and really use this to the fullest.
GoReact is an essential tool for virtual mentoring
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the ability to continue a class from one session to the next without having to do the foundation pieces all over again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to eventually see an organizing feature from the teacher view. There may be a time that sequencing titles in a format such as: A to Z; Z to A ; dates; etc. would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a sign language mentor, the virtual platform helps mentees prepare for a 2D test platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest considering how GoReact can be an option. There is a lot of support via tutorials and messages.

GoReact is easy to use! The training modules are clear and easy to understand. As a result, my students receive more relevant and can be reviewed more than once as they observe their teaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video feedback process can be intimidating, at first, but is easily managed after reviewing the training modules.

Getting colleagues on board was a challenge, at first; however, most of my colleagues are now very happy with GoReact.

It is solving the problem of social distancing in PE classes
GoReact is great for student feedback especially for sales role-plays.
What do you like best about the product?
Realtime feedback is my favorite feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I do not like. It is all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online students being able to get real feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great for sales role-plays.
Overly onerous on the presenter
What do you like best about the product?
It has nice integration with Powerpoint, it can seem native given the way the toolbar works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the user is required to have a Turning account can be very onerous, licence management within an institution is a nightmare as the user is required to work through the company. I find some of the features to be pretty unstable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it works it can aid audience engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Depending on your need, more reliable, cheaper and easy to use alternatives exist for the online version of Turningpoint. If you are using Turingpoint with hardware, no other clicker options in the market charge an annual fee for using the software so you might want to consider alternatives first.
