great tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the paperless process from idea to manuscript to finished publication.
What do you dislike about the product?
not much really, all is great. The tool is the best you can use if you are looking for a digital publishing solution.

I like that it is very easy to use/learn. In addition, I like that it is more customizable than other authoring software I have used.

I havn't really run into to many item I dislike about Inkling

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a cloud based system for training or knowledge library management Inkling is the company. From the account manager Charlie to the project manager Laura they have all been extremely knowledgeable and professional. The product is living up to what we expected and looking forward to implementation.
Great Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Project teams at Kohl's have leveraged Inkling for our training needs since 2016. The tool is user-friendly for both exempt and nonexempt Associates, offering an engaging digital experience. The functionality is versatile with the ability to view content on any device. Inkling also offers the ability to communicate project statuses between Corporate and Field Associates, reduce print materials, and analyze content use and engagement, all of which support our overall goal of achieving operational excellence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than alphabetically, there doesn't appear to be another method of organization for the Library. With a number of departments (20) utilizing the tool, finding team-specific documents is challenging. It would be helpful to offer another way to organize content across multiple departments.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user-friendly and easy to quickly publish content in an aesthetically pleasing way. As a company, they are very responsive to customer feedback, and are constantly improving their software and adding to their product suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to do bulk uploads for photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making content downloadable, easy to find, and easy to view. The search functionality is phenomenal.
Inkling for the classroom
What do you like best about the product?
It is a good way to share documents for groups. It is easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is no way to share edits to documents

This is not a full LMS - it is only a sharing hub.
Great modern learning resource
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the organization of user interface. Creating interactive textbooks that may be accessed from a desktop or mobile app is convenient and smart for today's market, especially a fast-paced retail environment. When something needs to be referenced, a user can search through their library and easily jump pages to find what's needed with little delay.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the proprietary editing interface, and the mobile app has been a challenge for some users. I would also like to see more options for customization, especially with tests and quizzes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easily accessible digital library of resources for a fast-paced retail company with MANY levels of stakeholders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel that the usefulness of Inkling could be somewhat limited by the number of employees. For my company, while we fall into the 10,000 + category, employees are divided by many locations making operations and business needs feel like a smaller business. I feel it would be very difficult to manage training for the entire company with Inkling if it weren't for that structure.
Inkling in the Enterprise - manufacturing industry
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for authors, great design and search-ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Administration side of platform could use some more robust features for larger libraies of content and large number of authors and users (thousands of InkDocs and tens of thousands of users).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling subject matter experts to capture knowledge from their experiences and share across large enterprise. Marketing, Sales, Service and Leadership training material development and deployment across complex learning ecosystem which will eventually include many LMSs and platforms world wide.
User Freindly
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitiveness of Habitat cuts down on the learning curve for new users. The folks at Inkling are good at addressing my companies needs with their timely releases. The drag and drop widgets give the engagement to give our end-users the interaction that promotes learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited administrator features. Looking forward to the release of the enhanced capabilities. We have faith that Habitat is working on a solution to provide a win-win for both parties.

Inkling is our primary authoring tool for digital content development, which allowed us to centralize and standardize training.

Evolutionary Training
What do you like best about the product?
Inkling has transformed our shoulder to shoulder training. No longer do we have operating / procedural manuals laying around and becoming outdated as soon as they are printed. We are able to make changes internally and not reliant on a supplier. Inkling helped us to become paperless and bring a modern look and feel to training for our employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially metrics were an area that Inkling didn't have set up - but its gotten a lot better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We realized cost savings by no longer producing thousands of binders for our stores. We are able to make changes on the fly and stay current.
