Worth it and face the tune.
What do you like best about the product?
Great practice and see it for yourself. I love the two people dialogue part!
What do you dislike about the product?
The frustration among us is the internet access which hinders the natural flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still struggling with internet access. The benefits of using GoReact will go on, in the long run, doing interviews or presentations in ASL!
Go React Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to do feedback and it aligns with signing errors on the video. I love how they set up a space where I can click TWA to find resources easily. I love how they allow me to use video features to model correct ASL during feedback. I appreciate how they do reminders if I overlook the assignment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish to Go react partner with True Way ASL Curriculum to gather all of their PDF of the rubric and all ASL teachers can use if we use TWA. I am still clueless about how I can do this within the synchronous classroom or live interaction. How is it better than zoom? In addition, it doesn't have an "Editing or trim" feature if I wanted to record live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems so far. The benefit is that it allows ASL teachers to interact more with assessment. I am unsure about live interaction during class. It would be nice if it was GIF friendly or ability to make recording GIF where I can upload words on the top for vocabulary list
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go React is very accessible and allows me to give feedback immediately. It is a visual modality method. Students loved how they see how their feedback at the same time where they noticed their errors with ASL.
Very easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can add markers and comments to the videos when reviewing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an evaluator it was hard for me to leave feedback for the teacher. I'm sure there is an easy way, but I couldn't figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is such a great tool to use with new teachers! Watching yourself teach is such a valuable reflective practice and leads to teachers making goals to improve their teaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product and easy to use! I highly recommend it to teacher preparation programs!
GoReact provides some valuable opportunities during a school shutdown or on occasion.

*The opportunity to observe a lesson when in-person is not possible.
*The feature of providing written feedback 'in the moment' of a video lesson.
*The 'end comment' gives opportunity for more holistic feedback

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems:
*In some cases we were unable to upload and use the school rubric
*Student teachers seemed ill-prepared to upload the videos and send them to me
*Tech support from GoReact was responsive but did not solve the problem
Benefits:
*Cost saving in commute times and time reimbursement

Recommendations to others considering the product:
GoReact is a valuable tool as an addition to in-person classroom observations and supervision. However, the video program does not allow for the detailed observations that one can see when in person. The ability to provide feed in real time is a plus.

What do you like best about the product?
Works well, Sam is pleasant to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
no strong dislikes at this point I would recommend to change
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our use case, we use Go React to allow student teachers to upload their student teaching and receive feedback from their colleagues and faculty.
The Power of GoReact
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about GoReact is that it has empowerment tools for the end user. As I am providing realtime feedback, I level up on my tech skills, improving my technology skills, and performing at a high rate of productivity, remotely. I don't have to focus on learning new skills, the GoReact program is user-friendly. No matter if I am on a mobile device or full desktop computer, the GoReact program allows me to be responsive and appropriate.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about the GoReact program is that I didn't think of the innovative of this product first. I am sure that the GoReact program could be better. However, my experience has been exemplary. Sometimes making things bigger or faster is counter-productive for those of us who need smaller and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before GoReact, the challenge of not being able to simultaneously observe and think about feedback. What I do now is, I listen and observe the submission, while I a study the pull down rubric. This task provides for authentic evaluation of what I am observing and allows the student to receive honest and transparent feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advise and recommend The GoReact program to all teacher preparation programs in higher education.
Perfect for Grading Interpretations
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to add feedback that corresponds with the exact part of the video on which you are commenting
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to upload a rubric instead of recreating it in GoReact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way for students to upload their interpretations and teachers/peers to grade them and provide feedback.
A Valuable Tool for Teacher Education Programs
What do you like best about the product?
The Go React platform allows for the easy uploading of videos for teacher candidates to receive embedded, time-stamped feedback from a remote viewer in text, audio, or video format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teacher candidates who download the Go React app on their phone have greater success in uploading video than those who send video to their device and then attempt to upload it that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teacher candidates in remote locations can receive frequent and timely feedback on the lessons they teach from their supervising professor, because he receives the notification of video footage to review and evaluate. Ongoing problems exist when teacher candidates choose not to view the evaluated lessons and consider the feedback submitted because they are focused on the current and future lessons they are teaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a subscription cost per user based on the number of subscriptions purchased. During the 2019-2020 school year, Go React greatly reduced this fee.
GoReact changed my life!
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact allows both teachers and instructors to view videos and analyze the work together. The most helpful feature is the ability to leave comments...students analyze their work and then we can talk about it. Without GoReact, there is not an easy way for us to get our hands on the material we are discussing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that when a video assignment is set up in Canvas, the only way to get to that video is from the Canvas assignment page. It would be great if we could get into the assignments from one separate dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My biggest accomplishment lately was being able to require different due dates for different groups of students for the same assignment. I almost feel like there is no assignment I can't create with GoReact.
Needed for ASL/Interpreting Programs
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to give video feedback to students - other programs have options to leave a video, but GoReact allows for targeted video comments that are critical for ASL skills development.
What do you dislike about the product?
While GoReact is very versatile, finding some features (e.g. stimuli, rubrics) is challenging especially after the newest update because they have separated previous content and new content. Also, there has been times that I have wanted to assign different materials to different groups for the same assignment; however, that is not an option - at least to do so and not have all of the assignments available to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used the video recorder in our LMS (Canvas Studio); however, the only timestamped feedback option was text. Since our classes involve signed language, text isn't always enough. GoReact has allowed us to give students visual feedback on specific areas of their work (rather than just a single video summary at the end). This has allowed students to better understand where and how to integrate the feedback.
