Powerful and Empowering Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact is exceptionally user-friendly. Even if you run into a snag, the support team is tremendously helpful and provides almost immediate feedback to keep you moving! This same support is extended to teacher candidates. GoReact continues to be one of the best (if not the best) tools I use in my teacher education courses. I have been using it for the past two years, and do not remember how I survived providing appropriate and timely feedback to my students prior! While GoReact has supported my continued efforts to better prepare my students for Task 2 in edTPA, I have found it to be THE BEST tool for teacher candidates to think and reflect critically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am hardpressed to find a negative, but I guess the cost is somewhat of a barrier. It is relatively cheap, given its capabilities, but money is a factor that has to be considered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of providing written feedback post classroom visits, I can now give immediate and timestamped feedback. And not only can I provide feedback, but my teacher candidates are also responding to the input and inquiring about how they make changes to improve their teaching.

GoReact the best interface
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact interface is very straightforward to use. What I like most about GoReact is how easy it is to create courses and review the videos. In our teaching preparation program, we use it every semester to give feedback to our teacher candidates. We can pause, rewind, slow things down and make the comments during the video pause. This is an essential feature of the interface as comments are time-coded. That way, students can reflect and comment on the specific feedback. I’ve used other programs, and they were not as friendly and efficient as GoReact.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding rubrics should be more accessible. It is confusing how to copy categories in the rubric part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The supervisors can do remote supervision using GoReact. Also, we can give more feedback and recruit students nationwide. We have reduced costs in transportation by doing the supervision remotely.
Excellent tool for giving feedback to students
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can give feedback at the presentation spot where I want to make a comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scores are not always automatically incorporated to Canvas gradebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The scoring issue mentioned above. Also, when a prior Canvas course is imported into a new one, the GoReact settings don't transfer.

Excellent tool for teaching.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use for me and for my students. The feature I really like is the ability to comment on lessons and have the video stop until I'm done commenting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't say that I dislike anything at this time. I believe it is pretty thorough. I would not change or need to improve anything.

I haven't had any problems. The benefit is I can go back to observe lessons after a time of reflection. This makes me more productive.
Great resource for student teaching supervision
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact is very user-friendly for both faculty and students. It is easy to download videos, and supervisors can provide feedback to students. The tech support has also been beneficial when students have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, we have not run into any issues or aspects that have not worked for our program. Due to Covid-19, supervisors cannot visit classrooms, so this has been a great alternative.

Student teaching supervisors typically visit classrooms to observe and provide feedback and suggestions to student teachers. However, during the pandemic, most programs are not allowing visitors into their classrooms to observe. GoReact has been a great alternative to classroom visits.

Great Tool to observe Teachers!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to utilize this tool to observe my teachers in their profession. It's definitely a saving time program so I don't have to go to their classroom personally.

I felt it was a little challenging to set up at first. But I got it.

The benefits are the ability to see teachers in action without me personally being there.

No problems. The timestamp feature is invaluable because my candidate knows exactly what I'm referencing.
Great for Video Commentary
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed GoReact's feature of letting others comment on the timestamp of videos. I thought it was especially helpful for keeping track of notes for different portions of the video, including commenting on the language used and body language displayed. I also liked that GoReact put very little strain on my computer, as my computer is fairly old and does not handle high-traffic and high-graphics websites well. I never had GoReact crash while I was uploading videos or commenting on others' videos, which was important due to the timely nature of the videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not too fond of that GoReact has length limits to its videos, as I had to edit many videos before uploading them. Also, I wouldn't say I liked GoReact's feature of letting users record through the website, as I do not know how good their encryption is or how safe the video storage is. I was not too fond of the occasional delay in audio compared to the videos, as this was distracting and took away from my ability to critique body language and spoken language in one comment. I often could not tell how the person in the video was reacting through facial expressions because of freezes or audio delays on GoReact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I solved with GoReact was sharing videos with others to gain real-time insight on what I could be doing better in each video. My skills improved because I was able to implement other users' comments into how I spoke and acted in future videos.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For others considering GoReact, I would suggest having a second option just in case you need GoReact to work every single time. The reliability of the audio and visual components matching perfectly was not up to par, and this can impact viewers' ability to comment on both auditory and visual aspects in one comment on a time stamp.
