Storyblok has propelled us to the clouds

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of development with Storyblok is incredible.
The real-time editor is really helpful. I can easily see the changes I make to the code without compiling it. It is an exciting feature of the new work approach.
The existence of plugins extends the program beyond what I would have expected. But, best of all is the ability to create and install my own plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any dislike of Storyblok. Like any CMS, it has a learning curve, but the reality is that it is effortless in this case. So, new users can adopt it at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a programmer, I like anything that makes my job as easy as possible. As a result, projects are developed very quickly and comfortably from the start.
I have been able to develop simple client jobs in much less time. In addition to shortening my programming periods, I have been able to take on new projects and improve the company's profit margins.
Creating this work methodology has been one of the most significant improvements in our company.

What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok is instant Wysiwyg while typing. Work with multiple people in so-called releases or use them by yourself for future releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I would use more distinctive colors or symbols to have a better overview of the status of the pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a webmaster I need to find and add/adjust lots of files as quick as possible. Because of Storybloks clear overview and speed I can do just that!

Storyblok gave back the power over the content to the Content Team

  • July 26, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Every Content Creator can instantly see what changes he have done.

And from a developer perspective it is very easy to implement, they have a REST and a GraphQl Api and good documentations
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything i dislike.

If i have to mention one, it would be nice to have some filters where i can see which content wasn't published yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had all our content in the code, so it wasn't easy to change the content without a deployment or even without a developer.

Now it is easy to change the Content, change the content on a weekend for some special offers. And it is possible to schedule content changes

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started with, great integration, live previews, and content editors no longer have to fear a headless CMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rich Text (custom Components) within Nuxt 3 is not yet fully supported
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It combines the benefits of a Headless CMS with an easy to use UI. Our Content Editors love working with it.

Storyblok is easy to use but not as compatible

  • July 21, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the blocks are to use. The copy and paste function is great when moving or amending pages. It is great if it is your first time creating a website and is simple to use with little training needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storyblok isn't as compatible as other website builds such as WordPress or wix. A web developer is needed with a lot of more complex tasks and isn't as easy to install plug-ins. because the site is custom built, integrations aren't easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok helps us promote our services, having a detailed website demonstrating all our services. The flexibility of page creation helps deliver our messages.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall Storyblok is an awesome product and we love working with them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok helps us to work on large-scale and Enterprise projects

What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok makes it simple to edit your website. Based on the easy structure, changes can be made very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has limits. If you want to make very specific changes, that might be not possible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok can be used in all departments (IT, marketing, C-lvl,...). Small changes (like wording) are very fast done.

Highly flexible and intuitive CMS

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing a page change as you make changes, being able to copy and duplicate components and pages within seconds. These features really do make creating your website pages super quick and easy. The UI too is very easy to use and requires minimum training, in fact in most cases it is simple enough to work things out without any support.
What do you dislike about the product?
be able to undo deletions by mistake, this might be something we havent yet discovered how to do but if you accidently delete a component or page there doesnt appear to be an 'undo' type feature that would just undo that one change.
I think another small thing is as there is no formal training, it has taken us longer to discover some pretty useful features we may have discovered sooner if some more indepth training was offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For sure the ability to scale up and publish new pages, new templates and new content without developer input with the ability for the user to view the page as they create it is a real benefit as this really does cut down the time to market of producing new and valuable content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a quick to market solution, that is easy to use, scalable and can connect with the latest technologies, custom data feeds etc, then storyblok will most certainly meet your business and user requirements.

Rife with bugs, do not waste your time and money on this. It's terrible. Go with Contently instead.

What do you like best about the product?
Nothing, it's been a terrible product for our business from the beginning.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is absolutely rife with bugs. At this point the amount of development hours we've spent just trying to circumvent the bugs has cost our business countlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's supposed to help us create content in a much more seamless way with universal components. However, it doesn't seem to be able to do that.
