Our team used Storyblok as our CMS for articles and app "aboutw."
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard and tools are fairly intuitive and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a rich text parser package available for React, but not React Native. This issue led to our team having to build an entire parser on our own. The visual editor was also not available for React Native.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content organization.

                            Modern and developer-friendly CMS
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface feels snappy and well thought out.
The visual editor works really well to preview updates in real-time.
The number of blocks you can use is really generous.
The JS SKD has worked really well and TypeScript types really helps.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome to be able to codegen the types for different block types based on the Storyblok configuration. Now we have keep them in sync in the code.
The visual editor can get a little busy with all the tools available on a single page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok empowers content editors to make changes to our website without involving editors.
From the developer's point of view, we can limit how the site can be customized so we can make sure the site works well.

CMS very easy to create pages or program new components.
What do you like best about the product?
Agility in creating pages when the components are already created, the development of components in the programming part in React is very easy, and the support is always very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to declare for now, I think everything is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is resolving with the agility to create pages very quickly, and any change is easy and practical, and soon it is already in production.

The simplest CMS I've used so far
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favourite aspects is how lightweight everything feels. Page editors load relatively quickly (slow loading times can be one of the most painful aspects). I also like how the asset manager is laid out, it makes grouping images by page really simple. Another example of this: by grouping particular assets (such as brochures) it's incredibly quick to check which PDF assets are up-to-date.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like there to be a way to add an ID to a specific block so it can be linked to directly. For example, if we want to anchor-link to a specific part of the page. There's a lot of basic functionality like this which seems to be missing. There's also a bug which is incredibly frustrating where whatever you type into the text field starts writing out backwards, you have to click back into the text field and delete the backward text to continue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On our previous CMS, adding new pages was incredibly difficult and could only be achieved with external developers. With Storyblok, very little work has to be sent to external developers, we can create site-wide blocks and copy and paste them to new pages painlessly.

                            Best headless CMS so far
What do you like best about the product?
The backend is beautiful and easy to use. I love how I can add example screenshots to my components, it really helps our clients. And now with V.2 die icons and colors are nice to have for the developers. The new Image editor is great too and saves a lot of basic photoshop time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We build something like a Grid component and it's not that easy to display the content of the child components outside. So now the component list is just grids all over. I tried to use the preview template but couldn't get the foreach loop to work. Maybe some better examples in the documentation would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using storyblok with NextJs feels nice and easy, we struggled a lot more with different headless cms's. For clients, it is way easier to get used to the backend as in more complex systems

The best CMS I have used so far. Flexible and very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok is a powerful CMS because of the possibilities for business users (like marketeers) to easily build pages with the intuitive UI while having the headless capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot. We have had a limitation where we could not use the block-flexibility in a design we created, but I am confident that it will be addressed in the future. Storyblok's support is great and they take the time listening to your feedback and working with you to find solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok is a very intuitive and powerful SaaS CMS that helped our business-focused department in creating a scalable website for which we needed headless capabilities, but do not have the continuous development resources for to maintain it. Storyblok also provides a visual-preview environment which not every headless CMS offers.

                            Storyblok V2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of the components.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult getting things to go live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok makes creating content easy and it makes our products look good.

                            Full Stack Developer
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to define data structures and the fact that it has all the types you could ever want. I've used WordPress as a headless CMS before learning about Storyblok and just to enable the API it was a mess. The Storyblok API is really easy to work with. Clients love how easy it is to use the editor and we can create some really complex setups for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started working with it, every time I made a change to a piece of content it wasn't updating instantly in the API but this seems to be resolved with V2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Storyblok for almost all new projects. It's great both for us developers as we can get a model setup in no time and for the clients as they get to edit their content in a clean UI with full flexibility.

Easy to setup and use, would like a self hosted version
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use integrating with Vue/Nuxt projects. The live view of content
What do you dislike about the product?
No self-hosted option
Would like some automation options to clone environments using pipelines
Would like some automation options to clone environments using pipelines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much more user-friendly than most other headless CMS.

                            Easy to learn and extend
What do you like best about the product?
Visual editing of content, fast response, plugin architecture. Easy copying of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding a block takes too many clicks. Using reusable components is not very user-friendly. Only one developer can work on the same plugin (owner is developer)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking too long to design a page. Hosting the content. Not having visual preview of content.
