Efficient Vulnerability Detection, Prioritization, and Remediation in One Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about vRx by Vicarius is that it not only detects vulnerabilities but also prioritizes and remediates them efficiently, reducing exposure and making vulnerability management practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there’s very little I dislike about vRx. It’s a comprehensive and well-designed platform for vulnerability management and remediation. If I had to suggest a minor improvement, it would be enhancing the customization of reports so they can be even more easily tailored for different audiences, such as technical teams versus management. Otherwise, vRx meets our needs exceptionally well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
vRx by Vicarius solves one of the most common security challenges: having many detected vulnerabilities but few that are actually managed. It lets me prioritize vulnerabilities based on real risk and remediate them centrally—through patching, automation, or compensating controls when no patch is available. This reduces the time systems are exposed, optimizes team effort, and gives me better control over what gets fixed, when, and why, making vulnerability management practical and actionable rather than theoretical.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Vicarius vRx is its comprehensive approach to vulnerability management. It goes far beyond detection by providing contextual risk-based prioritization and multiple real remediation options from a single platform. The ability to deploy patches, automate corrective actions, and use compensating or patchless protection significantly reduces exposure time and makes the work of both security and IT teams much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, vRx is a very complete platform. As a minor improvement, I would like to see more customization options for reports and dashboards to better adapt them to different audiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vicarius vRx solves the problem of reactive and fragmented vulnerability management. It centralizes risk prioritization and remediation in a single platform, allowing me to identify which vulnerabilities pose real risk and act immediately. Through automation, patching, and compensating controls, it significantly reduces exposure time and helps optimize team effort, delivering a clear improvement in overall security posture.

What I like most about Vicarius vRx is its focus on effective risk remediation rather than just vulnerability detection. This significantly reduces exposure time, allows teams to focus efforts on vulnerabilities that truly pose business risk, and turns vulnerability management into an operational, measurable, and automatable process.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, I do not see any significant drawbacks in Vicarius vRx, as I consider it a very comprehensive and well-designed platform for vulnerability management and remediation. Its focus on automation, contextual prioritization, and effective remediation aligns perfectly with real-world security operations needs. As a minor area for improvement, it could be useful to further expand report customization capabilities to better adapt them to different audiences, such as technical teams and management stakeholders; however, overall I believe vRx is a very solid solution and nearly ideal for its intended purpose.

Vicarius vRx helps me address one of the most common challenges in security: having many detected vulnerabilities but only a few that are actually managed. The platform allows me not only to identify them, but also to prioritize them based on the real risk to my environment and remediate them in a centralized way—whether by applying patches, using automation, or implementing compensating controls when no patch is available. Powerful Vulnerability Management with Automation Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate using vRx by Vicarius for comprehensive vulnerability and patch management across our environment, as it automatically identifies vulnerabilities and aids in remediation, which reduces manual effort. The continuous scanning and automated patch deployment for both OS and third-party apps is incredibly valuable. I enjoy having real-time visibility on the dashboard, which allows me to quickly find vulnerabilities and assess risk levels across our systems. The tool also supports audit management, which is a great plus. Overall, the product is effective in providing enhanced security management and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am facing issues with the automation patching as many customers are requesting automated patching, but it remains manual. Even after completing manual patching, it does not reflect in the vRx console, which I believe is a developer issue. Additionally, when trying to fix patching for third-party apps with vRx, there is a connectivity problem that prevents it from proceeding, necessitating manual intervention. The speed of patching is also low, which is problematic.

I use vRx by Vicarius for comprehensive vulnerability and patch management, which automates identification and remediation. It provides continuous scanning, risk assessment, and real-time visibility, reducing manual efforts and improving security across systems.
Next Generation Vulnerability & Patch Management
What do you like best about the product?
It greatly simplifies my work; before, I had to use several tools to manage vulnerabilities and patching. Now I can do it all in one. Furthermore, it was very easy to implement and configure, and it helps me focus on what's urgent and schedule tasks for what's important, thanks to automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything that's there now, but I'd like your dashboard to have an executive version, so I can explain my progress to non-technical areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Addressing urgent vulnerabilities and automating important ones means a lighter workload, allowing me to focus on other tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Automates patching which lets me spend time on more value added tasks. It's very easy to use and the support is very good. The scripts are excellent too, we've managed to automate the upgrade to Win 11 which again has saved us a huge amount of time and resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about VRx
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the Windows 10 end of life approaching we needed an easy way yo automate the upgrade of compatible machines to Windows 11. vRx had the answer to this with it's scripting capabilities.
Keeping machines patched to the latest releases was one of our biggest security concerns, it was a task that we just couldn't keep up with, again vRx was the answer to this problem.

VRX’s patch management is unlike anything I’ve ever used before—in the best possible way. It’s refreshingly modern, intuitive, and far less clunky than traditional solutions. Everything feels streamlined and efficient, making day-to-day tasks smoother and more manageable.

The only hurdle I faced was the initial learning curve around how VRX categorizes end points —it’s a bit different from what I was used to. However, with the help of their incredibly supportive team, it quickly started to make sense and now feels logical and efficient.

Vicarius, a cutting-edge cybersecurity software, has been successfully tested and implemented in our organization's networks. This powerful tool has proven to be a game-changer in our efforts to maintain robust system security. Since its integration, Vicarius has demonstrated impressive performance by automatically pushing and applying 3,815 critical updates. Specifically, it has managed to deploy 1,280 operating system patches and 2,535 application patches across our network infrastructure. These numbers highlight the software's efficiency in keeping our systems up-to-date and protected against potential vulnerabilities. The seamless implementation of Vicarius has not only enhanced our overall security posture but has also significantly reduced the workload on our IT team, allowing them to focus on other important tasks. What do you dislike about the product?
The only comment I would have been to add a feature that would automatically add our laptops that are in a work group to the asset group called work group. This would create one less step for me but really isn't that big of a deal. My team and I love this tool.

The product helps solve the problem of software and operating system updates in an organization when there is a known CVE. It also displays software that has a CVE and the severity of the CVE.
