What do you like best about the product?
Vicarius, a cutting-edge cybersecurity software, has been successfully tested and implemented in our organization's networks. This powerful tool has proven to be a game-changer in our efforts to maintain robust system security. Since its integration, Vicarius has demonstrated impressive performance by automatically pushing and applying 3,815 critical updates. Specifically, it has managed to deploy 1,280 operating system patches and 2,535 application patches across our network infrastructure. These numbers highlight the software's efficiency in keeping our systems up-to-date and protected against potential vulnerabilities. The seamless implementation of Vicarius has not only enhanced our overall security posture but has also significantly reduced the workload on our IT team, allowing them to focus on other important tasks. The success of Vicarius in our organization serves as a testament to its effectiveness in streamlining patch management and bolstering cybersecurity measures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only comment I would have been to add a feature that would automatically add our laptops that are in a work group to the asset group called work group. This would create one less step for me but really isn't that big of a deal. My team and I love this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The seamless implementation of Vicarius has not only enhanced our overall security posture but has also significantly reduced the workload on our IT team, allowing them to focus on other important tasks.

The product helps solve the problem of software and operating system updates in an organization when there is a known CVE. It also displays software that has a CVE and the severity of the CVE.

One of the best things about the Vicarius solution is its focus on proactive vulnerability management through its Topia platform. The ability to prioritize vulnerabilities based on real-time risk assessments and asset criticality is incredibly valuable. It provides actionable insights that allow teams to efficiently address the most critical threats, optimizing both time and resources. The integration options with existing security tools and the intuitive dashboard also make it a standout feature for enhancing visibility and decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vicarius excels in vulnerability management, one area for improvement would be the automatic generation of detailed reports immediately after executing an automation, particularly when custom scripts are used. This feature would provide immediate insights into the outcomes of the automation process, saving time and enhancing clarity for security teams. Additionally, expanding the functionality and options available for automation via the endpoint API would significantly enhance its flexibility and adaptability to various environments. These enhancements would make an already strong platform even more powerful for security operations.

Now I can access all my assets without VPN and I can manage a single machine and all its applications and patch protections.

vRx truly simplifies detecting and remediating vulnerabilities with continuous assessment and its features for patch management and remediation — all within a single platform with a unique license. The automation feature is the icing on the cake, it provides great help far beyond vulnerality management, it's like having and assistent.

no dowmsides, but would be helpful support for Android/iPhone
