CodeSignal Platform Review
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use. It has support for multiple languages. Screen share tab does not bother while giving the test.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no support for the auto complete feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used it mostly give online coding assessments from companies.

I had given my first round of the Quora test. It was a programming test to solve 4 problems in one hour. The virtual proctor provided by CodeSignal is great. It's even more exciting when the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th companies I applied ask me to send a report to them through CodeSignal as well. Even more, you can do this test once again every month. It really helps to keep the Interviewee sharp at their skills. It also saves the effort for Interviewee since one can do one test for a number of companies and should attract more talent for your company as well.

lacking important details for hidden test cases. Some error messages are not clear at all, e.g. out of resource (Is it about time or memory?).

CodeSignal Review
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the difficulty of the questions, as well as the UI and UX of the website. I also liked how the questions were broken down into different topics, including sliding window, arrays, and strings, instead of all of one topic such as trees and graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I didn't like about CodeSignal was that it was a little cluttered especially when switching questions. I also found that it doesn't tell me if my answers are saved if I switch to another question, which made me worried during the assessment, as I did not know if I should or should not switch questions. They should have a more robust platform which has a tutorial to help people understand how to effectively use the platform without being worried during the assessment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the technical interviewing problems, as many places tend to use HackerRank, which is much harder to code on due to UI issues, the lack of dark mode, and having to read from std input and output. Another benefit is that it allows companies to vet candidates, to ensure that they are qualified enough to work at their company. This saves a considerable amount of time for both, the companies and the candidates, as they do not have to schedule a screening for the phone screen (thus saving engineer time) as well as candidates' time, as they can choose to do the assessment on their own time, instead of having scheduling issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using it, it is an amazing piece of software!
Well-polished platform, but needs more industry connections
What do you like best about the product?
The platform itself is extremely well-polished, and the assessments have the feel of a more standardized exam. Overall, the questions are relatively high quality algorithmic problems that pose a good challenge to those practicing for algorithmic interviews. Additionally, the monitoring is not too invasive, but sufficient in that it does give the feeling of validation and consistency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connections from the platform are relatively limited. While the platform itself is very polished, it doesn't have many links to actual companies that seem to be using the assessment. Therefore, while the platform itself is really cool to use, it's hard to see how it's useful. This is manifested in the questions themselves, which tend to be a little on the easier side and more algorithmic compared to what companies typically ask about. Therefore, it would help to ground the content of the site in actual interviews with companies to get more realistic questions and more useful assessments. Additionally, while the assessment itself is fairly polished, the dashboard leaves a bit to be desired. There's not much content around how people typically score with the coding scores or whether or not a certain score is actually good, so there's some lack of transparency that would be nice to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been principally using CodeSignal to practice algorithmic questions and for fun. It is quite good at practicing questions to make me more efficient at them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is new, but probably worth a shot.

What do you like best about the product?
I like stickers, animations, detailed described challenges, well-crafted user interface and gamification applied to the coding practice. UI looks much fresher then HackerRank :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I think you can still improve code editor with advanced features like auto completion e.g. for nodejs based sandboxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've met with CodeSignal while doing coding assessment and then tried to solve few tasks. I realized that you guys know about "super mario effect". Learning and practicing should be fun and you are making it fun :)

None. All are good for me. I want a white background instead of black

Nice practice for algorithms and data structure.
Smooth Interface
What do you like best about the product?
When writing the code autocomplete suggestion was quite fast.Before submitting the code a wide range of test cases are covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever we run the code I think test case was not quite visible and had to scroll down to see the result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used this platform to complete my test of crossover. I had to solve 4 questions in 70 minutes but I took only 35 minutes, Thanks to the code signal interface to make it easy to solve.

Try it, you might want to change from your old platform to this one.

Code Signal Review
What do you like best about the product?
Code Signal has a very unique way of testing the competency of the candidate. It rates the candidates based on their timing, speed, performance etc. Hence it provides a more detailed view of the candidates' overall report.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some functions like sort comparator that do not work the same like it does in other interfaces like Visual Studio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have given coding assessments on Code Signal. The biggest benefit that I had from solving code signal questions is that I understood which part of my programming skill needs work because of its detailed report.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One should definitely use code signal for a detailed view of their performance to improve their coding skill at a faster pace.

The platform is very user friendly, easy to use. During my coding process, no problem happened, it went pretty smooth. I really like this platform, since it can keep me focus on coding, rather than bothering me on platform issues like what happened on some other coding platforms.

To be honest, it is really hard to find some drawbacks for this platform.

Just use it, this platform has got a lot of advantages and nearly no disadvantages. From my perspective, since I use this platform mainly for coding purpose, so with CodeSignal, I can focus on coding, and not influenced by anything else, which can definitely make us more productive and save a lot of time of us. So after you try this, then I can guarantee that you will love it for sure.
