My experience of using CodeSignal
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fair environment that CodeSignal provides to showcase our coding skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the factor of randomness in our tests. I believe some questions under the same category are harder than others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algorithm questions. I practiced my coding skills in a time-constrained environment.

What do you like best about the product?
everything is recorded during the test: the video, audio, screen. that was nice as it showed that the candidate did it independently and offered a fair i=evaluation. It also helped us gain confidence. I also like the evaluation., how they evaluate the problem solving skills, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
not having a contact person, I felt in one of the questions the test cases were wrong and I didn't know who to go to. I even posted it on the Discuss section but no one from the code signal team got back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
improve coding skills, logical ability, brush up on data structures and algorithms; I also gained confidence.
Very Easy to use platform
What do you like best about the product?
A well-thought-of platform for testing technical skills. The difficulty level of the problems increased gradually, thus allowing us to plan them in order in which to solve the problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a problem is opened, the timer on the problem does not stop even if I move on to the next question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving a number of programming questions on CodeSignal, which is helping me in technical interviews and also while giving online assessments
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great platform with highly challenging technical questions. There are also a lot of companies that already have their online assessment on this platform which candidates can use to get interview calls from the company. The scoring formula used by Code Signal is really well thought of and ensures that students who have not completed all the questions or all the test cases are also eligible to be considered by the tester.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it didn’t follow the standard one question “gotcha!” Style of most algorithms based interviews. Instead it gave us 4 questions, tested us against public and private cases and gave us scores accordingly
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there could’ve been a little more clarity to some of the questions, but in general was straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal changes the standard Hackerrank coding challenges by giving a clearer view of a candidate’s proficiency

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the IDE, it had great support for different languages and had flavours of popular IDE and various themes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Didn't notice anything wrong during the interview.

It's a candidate friendly environment
The overall experience is good
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best is that the highlight of the editor. I have used some other online assessment platform, and their highlight of the editor is not really good, sometimes it is hard to identify what I have written in other platform. But I think your platform highlight is not bad.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike is the question description is too long. I think it is kind of hard and annoy for me to read a long article before I write my answer. I prefer precise question description, like the question on the platform of leetcode.

I solved algorithm problems. I learned how to solve the sliding window problem.

What do you like best about the product?
Great UI. The entire experience, right from reading the question to writing the code in the provided space was nice. A little more work on the UI can be done though, to make it more appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setting of the different functionalities in the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just used it to give a test for an internship.
A delightful platform for coders!
What do you like best about the product?
An intuitive UI combined with all the features. I used the platform for tests conducted by various companies. It generated perfect statistics of my skills, helping me where to improve further.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing! The platform integrates almost all the features that I can think of. I suppose one think which can be further improved is providing more granular statistics of candidate performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General coding problems. The tools to write and debug the solution is amazing. I realized that using this platform, I can measure my weakness, and work on it.

Some uncertain terms, but not that much

Mostly, it is my own problems, but using test cases helps to analyze them
CodeSignal review for Quora test
What do you like best about the product?
It was a surreal experience. I did not face any technical issues while giving the test and thus I could focus on my test the whole time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I was not able to find anything that I did not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have just used CodeSignal for the Quora New Grad Software Engineer test.

It is a good option for anyone who wants to host tests online.
