Extremely useful platform
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is quite engaging. The idea with daily challenges and tournaments is awesome. I really like the interview preparation section. I think it is really useful for recap and training. This is how I started using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not think that there is something that I actually dislike. But I have a few recommendations. I think that the introductory section can be really useful for new starters. There is one for Python, which is great. I also think that a similar section for some Statistics and ML concepts would be really helpful. Sometimes daily challenges are extremely easy, probably tasks like using just one condition check should be filtered out, otherwise I think the idea with the challenge is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started with the interview preparation section. Now I am mostly solving daily challenges or trying to improve my speed with the tournaments.
The best coding challenges platform I have tried
What do you like best about the product?
Nice problems description, too many kinds of challenges depending on the level of programmer.
A very nice editor.
A very nice editor.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my point of view, it would be better if there are some popular solution for each problem with detail explanation about time or space complexity just like LeetCode website did.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm looking into "multiplicationTable" in Academy - Python problems.
Those problems in this course help me learn and practice a lot about python programming.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, this is the awesome platform to help user practice and keep your programming skills sharp.
Good for Learning
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about CodeSignal is the path to learn about different types of problems. I highly recommend it for getting warmed up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the solutions will not work in all languages - I've found a number of problems for which JavaScript cannot complete the test cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I learned how to solve problems for interviews using CodeSignal's learning paths. I recommend it for anyone who wants a nicer interface than Leetcode.
great platform, sometimes interesting challenges
What do you like best about the product?
The website is great, it is very easy to try out solutions, sometimes there are interesting challenges and often possible to learn even from one liner solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
unfortunately there are too many no brain exercises
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
practicing java coding, it helps to quickly find solutions for simple tasks, but unfortunately the interesting challenges are rare.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the quality of challenges should be increased, time ago everybody could send in tasks and many of them were real challenges, unfortunately there are less and less such task as it is not taken from user submissions any more
Excellent for interview training
What do you like best about the product?
The increasing difficulty of questions in both arcade more and interview challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more daily questions on non-algorithmic coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I mainly solve are algorithmic. I have been able to think and solve any problem at a higher speed and with greater accuracy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used it only for practice, so I do not know it's other applications very well.
A great preparation for interviewing - and it is free!?
What do you like best about the product?
There is a huge amount of material on this site and I though that eventually I would have to pay for it. But no - it is free and it is very high quality. How do they do it? I gained a lot of confidence with the interview process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more explanations on solutions and various types of solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm doing the Interview Prep - I've done almost every single problem. I hope that this will prepare me for my interviews.

Things I dislike:
1. Can't use my coins to purchase t-shirts anymore.
1. Can't use my coins to purchase t-shirts anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using CodeSignal for more than a year to prepare for my job interviews. It helped me build my necessary skills. Participating in tournaments helped me acquire that speed to crack online tests. Plus the arcade problems are very useful for one's prep.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend companies to use CodeSignal platform for selecting candidates for software dev as it provides a comprehensive analysis to distinguish every candidate and to select the most suitable one.
Great platform for newbies!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the challenges daily as well as the community along with it! I learned a ton from viewing previous solutions as well as your very own Zero_Cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of beginner-friendly content. I am a student still, and it was hard for me to catch up on some concepts. That being said, the example problems were hard to learn from. I managed, but the beginner section is anything but beginner!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Codesignal has not impacted my work because I am still a student! :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Study up BEFORE joining so you are not left in the dust!
Codesignal: Responsive, Fun, Challenging. A Great Learning Environment
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of Codesignal are really how easy it is to make an account and jump into the Arcade or start a fun tournament with some friends or new people that you might meet online. The difficulty of the questions are a bit on the easy side, but the speed component of the tournaments is really fun and gets your heart racing. For me, being a high school student, it's nice to just check in on the site a few times a day and win 3 or so tournaments at a time. After a while of doing well, people have started to friend me on the site and I've met some cool folks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside I see of Codesignal was the antics with the whole t-shirt situation. A while ago, the site used to offer a blue t-shirt to members who amassed 500,000 or more coins through competition in tournaments or completing challenges in the Arcade. However, the shirt was eventually taken off the site's store, and coins became pretty much meaningless. Nevertheless, I emailed the marketing staff to see if there was any way that I could still get a t-shirt, but they never replied. Looking at the forums I found a nice post regarding the situation and was able to purchase a shirt through a group order form, however this was nowhere near as fulfilling and I still have the nearly 500,000 coins sitting in my account for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems on CodeSignal are really geared towards getting ready for job interviews in the world of computer programming and software development. I've picked up some skill, but mostly the problems are just for fun for me since a lot of it is stuff that I've already learned through other more difficult sites and contests in person. I've really gained speed though, as the tournaments only give you 10 minutes to code 5 problems, which is quite a lot of time in reality, with my record being somewhere near the 2 minute mark.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it. It's great for fun and for learning, and really improves your speed.
Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
I like that programming is implemented like a game where you get rewards for your progress. I really like the badges and the fact that you can add friends and compete with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that the t-shits have been removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started from the beginning, with basic challenges and then as I progressed I started more and more difficult problems, in different programming languages which is a nice thing to have from a wide variety of languages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
is a cool platform where you can test your knowledge. Also it is fun for hackathons.
