Great place to improve current skills or learn new skills.
What do you like best about the product?
Good choice of languages to choose from. IDE is intuitive and easy to use. Choice of practice arcade, challenges, and tournaments. . Ability to compare your code with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Code Golf gives higher rank for smallest code. The smallest code base is not the most elegent solution. Doesn't give more emphasis on 'best' solution (ie. readablility and simplicity).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offers chances to improve existing language by coming up with new algorithms. Gives the opportunity to learn new language by solving problems.
I find Codesignalexcelent for my purposes
What do you like best about the product?
I like a lot the task, CodeSignal is for me like a University cause i know what to study while i solve the exersices . It´s like a particular tutor and a study plan at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the description of the tasks is confussing. I need to read the comments of the users or need to see the results of the tests to find out what is the task to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I`m tryng to solve all the problems, when i do not know how, it is because there is something new to study.
Really productive way to prepare to the online-testing.
What do you like best about the product?
Huge variety of different problems which are based on very different fields. There are great articles with explanation of CS topics. “Tournaments” is very good way to make you solve problems faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
A chat implementation is bad. No way to spend coins. Small number of different tasks in the "Test Center". "Big-O" topic still in "coming soon" status. No new Arcades. No new problems in “Interview Practice”. No new Badges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to prepare to online-testing for top companies. After couple of months I felt confident. After 3 months I managed to pass online-testings in companies which I wanted to work.
A different way to learn
What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of different things on this website and I like each of them. First, there is a section of Interview Practice showing questions customized for your study. There are problems where you have to write the smallest code or just fix it. One of the best parts is the Tournaments that happens all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started on this website because I wanted to win a t-shirt, but the prizes are not available anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm doing problems of Interview Practice section and the benefits are get used to real interview questions and get used to the time needed and what time complexity use.

Great platform to enhance your coding skills
What do you like best about the product?
1. User interface - Its the best, and I have used other similar platforms, and I have to say it is way better than those. Easy to use, looks nice, what more can one ask?
2. Community - I have been using CodeSignal for the past 3 years, and I have hardly seen any toxic behavior from other users. In fact, they are really helpful and I have actually learned a lot from them.
3. Former daily challenges/current community challenges - Most of them are interesting, will keep you engaged in it, and when you solve them you will be satisfied because you were able to learn something. While the rest of the problems, well thanks to CodeSignal, they allow scoring based on character count (lower would be better), those are still interesting, I like code golfing very much, I believe it helps you be more proficient in the language that you choose to code with.
4. Interview practice section - To be honest, I learned trees, linked lists thanks to this section. And they also are useful because they are asked in interviews (I myself was asked a problem from linked list in an interview).

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Current daily challenges - Basically rundown of arcade problems presented randomly. I don't completely dislike it because I like golfing it though.
2. Arcade problem description - Some arcade problems are poorly described, gives you a hard time solving it.
3. Big-O-Notation sub section in the interview section has been there forever.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using it for enhancing my coding skills and language proficiency, and I always like the opportunity to learn new thing.
A nice place to practice coding
What do you like best about the product?
For a beginner, there are lots of easy exercises to start. Some of them are not complicated and it helps to learn a new programming language. After submitting your own solution, you can see what others did and learn from them and therefore, improve your skills. In the Arcade section, people can comment on the exercise, some of them can be really helpful if you are stuck on the problem, giving tips and tricks on how you can approach the problem without selling out the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge section is not the best here. Most of those exercises are reused from other sections and doesn't really gives a big challenge. The ranking for this section is only by character count, this discourages user to write clean code and efficient code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been solving problems from the arcade section, some of them are easy, good for starting and some of them really makes you think before start to code, which is a nice thing. With the complicated problems, I learned how to optimize my code, reducing execution time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is something for everyone
Awesome Insightful Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It manifested a lot of my weaknesses that I took for granted in both the language and problem solving. I was able to strengthen these and simply by solving the challenges and seeing how other solve the same challenge. Additionally, when you solve a really hard challenge and you have over 50 lines of code and you see the top solution with one line, it definitely gets you digging deep in both problem solving and the language.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes description of the challenges can be unclear or misleading. But getting help from the community with extensive testing usually gets you by these challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem solving skills have definitely strengthened I have learned a pantheon of new features that I utilised. Now my coworkers think am a god. lol
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I find that when you figure out how others get the solutions really improves your ability to be creative in your problem solving.
You should start here
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface for CodeSignal is the best among the programming sites available. The arcade section was addicting and further boosted my motivation to learn a new programming language. If you're into code golfing or enjoy learning how a language work under the hood, the daily challenges provide a fun challenge (even if the difficulty of the challenge itself may not be difficult).
What do you dislike about the product?
The weekly challenges disappeared, challenges recycled, and marathons disappeared. The competitive aspect of the side is decided by the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved all types of problems with CodeSignal. The benefits are being able to look at a problem and gain an understanding of what algorithm and data structure to implement for a given task.
One of the best places that you practice your coding skill
