What do you dislike about the product?
- The codemaster's tounrey: it's fun at first, but once you are around level 60, it becomes boring because you already know most of the tasks, so from there the tourneys will just be used as coins and XP machine.
- The public challenge: the public challenges were created by the community and validated by an admin a long time ago, but now they have automated it and the challenges are picked up from the arcade/tourneys database, thus public challenges has become boring as well. But the community still can create challenges, only challengers will not get any coins on these.
- The removal of the store: we used to "buy" t-shirts with our coins before, but now that they've removed the store, what's the use for coins other than revealing solutions?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just a few times where submitting a solution during a tournament takes a long time, due to server overload maybe. Nothing else apart from that. I'm having fun on Codesignal and I can say I've also improved my coding skills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sing up and have fun.
A great way to maintain your knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
I like a variety of tasks, programming languages and platforms. You can improve your knowledge in almost everything. After you find solution for task - you can check solutions of other CodeSignal users - and it amazing way for teaching best practices and sharing knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Task description is not always clear. Sometimes it can confuse you, but often other user past clear description into task discussion

I'm trying to diversify my work day. Every solved task - it's a small victory for me. Small step forward.
Best place for improving your coding level
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
The smart completion (auto complete code) isn't really smart. I want it look like Netbeans or Visual Studio or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving any problems. I think it helps me very much in works.

A fun and addictive way to get better at coding
What do you like best about the product?
Codesignal offers a huge selection of coding challenges, which are short and fun and therefore easy to fit into one's daily routine. The challenges can be done in any programming language and cover a wide range of topics. The platform has a community aspect, as you can follow your friends progress and look at other coder's solution, which is a great way to learn. I recommended CodeSignal to a number of my friends and they were all hooked on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is only a few points of improvement that I can think of:
-In the Arcade mode it is very "expensive" to look at the hidden test, whereas quite cheap to look at the solutions.
-In the Arcade mode it is very hard to get upvotes on our own solutions, as people will likely only see the first few solutions that already have a lot of votes

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using CodeSignal to practice and get better at coding. In the past year that I've been using it, it has been my primary source of practice and my coding skills improved tremendously.
A good choice to test your actual knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Codesignal is that guy that tells you "comm'on bro, let's see what you can". They have a nicely divided sections with different levels & purposes and they let me choose what I want to achieve. One section that I really enjoy is the "interview practice" where I found a lot of problems with a nice approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I would like them to add more focus on UX than on logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving coding skills, the algorithms part and the interview practice. All this things helped me for an important interview and pair programming during an interview.
A good place to go for novice developers to build some skills
What do you like best about the product?
CodeSignal has daily challenges and an arcade mode for learning new development skills. The user interface is very good as long as your screen is big enough (tablet or PC). The development method (where you code to a set of unit tests) is better than what is offered by most sites. And, the number of languages supported is enormous.
What do you dislike about the product?
Before CodeSignal's re-brand, you could use the "coins" you earned to by a tee-shirt in their store. Now, you can only buy hints. It's even more annoying that they put the shirt up for sale on a third party site. Since, having that shirt is no longer a badge of honor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have recommended CodeSignal to co-workers who are interested in learning to program. I don't think it does a great job teaching . But, it does a wonderful job of keeping the ideas you might learn in a boot-camp or online class fresh. I also use it to keep my coding skills up, now that I spend more of my day managing than I do coding.
CodeSignal is the best place to test and hone your coding skills
What do you like best about the product?
I love the concept of CodeSignal. It's for coders of all levels and it's a great way to hone your skills. You can see how the top performers' code and it teaches me something new every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot I dislike about CodeSignals. I guess the fact that it focuses on making codes as short as possible to get to the top of charts rewards players for bad practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I tend to code in one language at a time, the ability to see how other people implement the same algorithm in different languages is a really neat feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absolutely amazing product.
It's fun and educational.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about codesignal is that you can see the solution of others. If you are learning a new language that's a big plus to see some simple problems solved in that language.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm now only referring to challenges. They are pretty easy, so the word challenge is an exaggeration. It's not a best idea to learn any coding practice from the smallest possible code. It's neither fast nor it's readable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me is just for fun. I usually spent there 10 minutes a day on the challenge. Far better than reading jokes or etc. ;-)
Favorite Interview Prep website
What do you like best about the product?
- The best thing about CodeSignal is the Gamification of the entire concept of Problem solving. Earning actual points for solving problems which can be used as a sort of currency on the entire app is the one feature that differentiates CodeSignal from the rest. Sure many websites have this concept in place, but CodeSignal's implementation is arguably the best.
- Three different tracks for Interview Prep based on timeline is actually helpful and helped me land my dream job.
- Daily Challenges keep bringing me back.
- UI is much better than may other websites out there.
- The coding interface is polished and easily workable. Many of the early challenges are easy enough to solve with some cheesy solutions, but building efficient ones has been a great exercise.
- Earning Badges is a nice feature.
- 10 Minute tournaments.

What do you dislike about the product?
While there are many small improvements that can be made to this already excellent platform, most of them are just nitpicking at this point. The one thing I would appreciate the most is the ability to comment on solutions of 'Code Friends'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using CodeSignal to practice problem solving, train my algorithmic skills and preparing for software engineering interviews. I was able to successfully interview for multiple companies following this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Interview Prep is the best section in CodeSignal.
It has helped prepare me for multiple job interviews.
What do you like best about the product?
The number of problems of varying difficulty
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having comments in code should be required
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algorithmic problems. I think quicker now
