CodeSignals gives you amazing Coding Challenges in a clean looking environment
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, I have everything I need to solve the challenge on one screen, without any scrolling, I have all the languages available, that I want to use, the compiler is working and it gives you an accurate feedback of what was wrong, I can print to the console. I really enjoy the company challenges, since they give you a more practical experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't get any rewards for non-active old challenges and I can't really spend the coins on too many things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems are really broad. They vary from complex challenges of big companies to minor and easy problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to challenge yourself, by using a new language or a language you're not so used to for the easier problems. It will give you great improvements.
Preparing for an interview or just practicing a new language, CodeSignal is the way to go.
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing amount of challenges available which can be used for learning a new code language, maintaining your coding skills or just for fun. I really enjoy being put on the test and CodeSignal does a good job providing those tests.
I also like the new feature where you can do a practice test or certified test as if it was for a real company. It measures how well you do did in 3 categories: Implementation, Problem Solving and Speed. This helps a lot in figuring out what you main focus is to work on in other challenges.

What do you dislike about the product?
With the hard or medium questions you got to make sure to think of all possibilities by yourself cause the test provided do not cut it, although if you earned enough coins from previous challenges you can see the hidden tests. You can create your own tests but it is hard to simulate a huge example for testing the time complexity of your code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The interview practice challenges and tests definitely! Also Python in the arcade, cause that was a new language for me. Further the new coding challenges which pop up every day if I am in for some fun!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just dig in and solve some challenges, but be patient even if you surprisingly missed some testcases.
There is nothing holding you back to create functions and classes to separate the problem into smaller portions.
You want to look back at your previous submitted code which was actually better? No problem you can.

Fun
What do you like best about the product?
The challenge and seeing other solutions to improve my algorithm
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes other problem is very hard to understand, the explaination is very confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algorithm and sometimes database
Only Pro
What do you like best about the product?
One of the main things, that forced me to register at toptal , was status of "toptaler" . No doubt this is the best platform in the world , and if you work there , you are one of the best developers too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes from 1 to 3 month (screening process)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I' m learning twice faster than usual
Codesignal is for me so far the best way to start coding in a new chosen language.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is addictive, the challenges stuck in dour brain until you cannot get through them. Some exercises repeat itself, and eventually one remembers the xyntax perfectly by heart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic debugging option would be usefule sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far I am at the end of rhe intro Arcade exercises as I just strted python. I want to go through all the python projects.
A Good Mock of Real Interview
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about CodeSignal is the technical skill assessment system. I got 60 minutes to complete the 3 algorithm and data structure problems. Because of the strict time limit, I felt I was in a real technical interview. You need to accomplish your nervous seeing the time ticking. That's exactly one of the most important challenges I need to face in a real interview.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to get a more comprehend feedback on my assessment, such as what's the gap between my current skills set and a company's hiring bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assess my technical skills set under a time limit, get feedback on how I perform. CodeSignal provides good feedback, which is the best feedback compared to other systems I could find.
Great platform to practice and improve coding skills
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Interview Practice best and I think it's also the best of all similar sites. The questions are organized as different topics that make things more clear and easier to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no place to leave notes in question page. After solving the problem, sometimes I need to leave a note about what I learned for future reviewing. Now I use github to record these things and it's inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use CodeSignal to prepare coding interview, practice coding and build confidence. I learned a lot from the high scored solutions and also I can feel every improvement after each Practice Tests.
Code Immersion!
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing others' creative solutions. I am pretty inexperienced at programming so it's really nice to complete a problem and then look at other people's solutions and seeing how it could be done better. It allows me to immerse myself in code, which is the best way for me to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
People shorthand and teach bad habits. Some of the solutions on CodeSignal seem extremely shorthanded to see how short they can make their code and it teaches some bad habits OR it is very hard to decipher and hard to learn from. The good news is allowing community members to vote on favorite solutions sends other good solutions to the top as well as these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to practice a lot of JavaScript (ES6+) and C#. Its a great place to try to practice syntax for different languages. I also like to use the community challenges which oddly enough incentivizes me to look at other languages to see which languages handle certain problems exceptionally well.
Great assessments
What do you like best about the product?
The assessment platform is phenomenal. Generates a very accurate signal for skills especially with new grad candidates. I've also used it with more senior candidates and it can work well there too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expanding to information security and system design would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatically evaluating technical skills of engineering candidates.
Home for IT / CS
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of CodeSignal is that it gives the all the IT/CS opportunity to improve and I can say that this is the home for IT/CS people like me :) .
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of the CodeSignal is that some solutions were existed in other websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, but engaging in Deep algorithms in Computer Studies perspective, it is hard to solved but it gives me an opportunity to learn more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dont be shocked if you dont know how to solve the problems, take a short break then try to solve it, repeat the process ;)
