Awesome Learning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I didn’t know any Python when I started using codes signal. Because of the practice exercises I was to start picking it up in time for a job interview!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would help you work through practice problems more, but really not much bad with this site!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve been learning basic coding. Nothing crazy but really good way to get a foundation!
An optimum platform for learning programming
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use. It has several types of problems which suits for many users with different level of proficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The concept of hidden test sometimes bothered me because in some cases I was not able to understand the issue and my mistake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used this platform due to a job interview.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to practice scripting more, this is the optimum way, regarding the fact that you get enough experience and knowledge according to the time that you spend in Codesignal.
No excuses, there is something for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part about Codesignal is the variety of questions. Whether it's arcade style, interview mode, challenging bots, or entering the 10 minute tournaments, there is always something to do. And now, with the test center I have a better idea of the skills I need to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Codesignal is that I cannot see my XP. I've been eyeing the leader board 😬 and being able to see my XP somewhere in my profile would give me a better idea of how far I need to go to take the first place spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly go for the arcade mode, interview mode, and the tournaments. The 10 min tournaments have helped me begin to speed up my problem solving, an area I am working on getting better. It's nice seeing my improvement over time. Also the interview mode helps me realize interview topics I need to work on.
One of the best coding, challenges and recruitment for technical individuals
What do you like best about the product?
I like having the community give problems and have other people work on them and practice while improving their skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't necessarily like when the site ranks all the people together irrespective of the language they are coding in. Languages that doesn't require a lot of lines of codes to solve problems get ranked higher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been out of practice for a while and I'm using codesignal to get back in to the game.
Indispensable for technical hiring
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see someone's true technical ability without having to rely on their resume has been eye opening. Before using CodeSignal, we would reject more than 97% of all of our applicants based on their resume. Now everyone goes through a CodeSignal certification and we've been able to find amazing team members who wouldn't ever get the interview in our old flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The certifications product doesn't apply to non-technical roles even though we've used their testing product for some less technical roles as we could customize the questions there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling our hiring process, finding great talent without relying on resumes, saving engineering and recruiting time wasted on unqualified candidates and boosting our diversity initiatives.
Outstanding technical assessment solution
What do you like best about the product?
The Coding Score is very unique and highly accurate. They use a standardized assessment framework to generate this score and we found it to be highly correlated to interview as well as job performance.
I was initially skeptical about having a standardized assessment and score but the level of research that they've put into this has proved to be indispensable.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't wait until there is even more industry adoption of their standardized assessments since then more people would apply to us already having taken them so we can instantly see their Coding Report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Separating signal from the noise in our technical candidate pool.
A great asset for learning/improving programming skills and a perfect recruitment helper tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Codesignal provides one of the best browser IDE experiences I've ever seen. the selection of languages you can use to do what you came here to do is honestly amazing, to think they have gone all the way towards making compilers and editor customizations to support is just amazing.
You can find some of the finest algorithmic questions here to tackle your knowledge level on computer science, you can also select a path and go toward a single player-ish experience, solve CS questions and move to the next stage. And along the path, learn about what other's have done and how you could do better.
The coder-vs-coder experience is also something to notice and it's really really fun!
Overall it's the best platform for programming competitions and algorithmic learning I've come across, been using them for the past .4 years and will keep doing so for the time to come.

What do you dislike about the product?
The browser-based IDE can still be improved, and JVM based programming languages take longer than expected to compile (Scala and Java).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used codesignal first and foremost to improve myself and my programming skills. Also to learn new languages and get to know other more experienced programmers solutions to different problems.
Secondly, I've adopted ideas from CodeSignal challenges, and have designed many technical interview questions based on them. It's an invaluable source since you can first solve problems yourself, then look at other people's solutions, and also look at forums and figure out issues different people have with different technical challenges, it's incredibly valuable.

Very intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
User Interface is very intuitive which made it seamless to go through the assessment. Also, the test cases were very broad which led me to dig into the code and debug, increasing my understanding of the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Writing print statements does not give console output which makes it hard to debug.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I gave a coding assessment for a company on CodeSignal, and, since then I have started using it for practice. I am gaining confidence with timed tests.
CodeSignal Assessment Platform on G2
What do you like best about the product?
Friendly UI. Questions are straight forward and the IDE is perfect for beginners up to advanced programmers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would prefer more questions added to the assessment database. I have taken the test three times and it seems that there are only two or three exams they cycle through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use CodeSignal for daily coding practice as well as enhancing my technical knowledge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great place for beginners!
The best place to dust off, sharp and improve your coding skills
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy is to take a challenge, select your preferred language and start to write a solution. I also like so much the arcade mode where you can sharp your python and sql skills. There are other paths about core skills like bit-shifting, graph theory an so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the best way to make community is to ask questions and help others with hints in order to they can solve their problems by themselves. It will be great to has some webinars with people talking about his solutions or the best way to tackle some problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My code typing speed improved a lot because tournament challenge demand you write faster if you want to win the points! Solving problems every day helps you to think faster and implement good solutions in less than 5 minutes.
