Positive experience, wish the demo outlays more examples to get use to the environment
What do you like best about the product?
The Questions are interesting sometimes and help you become better
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the questions don't relate much to our cs classes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me to have a better understanding of DS and Algorithms, and how to apply my knowledge into code.
It was easy to use, although I do not like when it forces me to take all interviews I have at once
What do you like best about the product?
How easy the software is, also the practice tests are helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Code signal forces me to take all my interviews at once , so even if I can get more practice, they force me to do it all at once
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me practice for free
Codesignal review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is algorithmic and you can send past scores.
What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes if you choose to take the test for a particular company, that score will be sent to all the other companies requesting test scores.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me become a better software engineer.
Highly reliable, thorough, comprehensive standard test suite.
What do you like best about the product?
It supports many languages and enables standardized scoring across all candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. Happy with everything so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have screened hundreds of candidates with CodeSignal as our first screen.
Codesignal Review
What do you like best about the product?
Learning how to attempt not just a random coding problem but coding problems in the context of word problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily very friendly to people starting their coding journey, so it can be discouraging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Probably helping companies give out assessments, it's helpful to send one score to various companies... if that score is good
Accurate, non-biased and consistent interview platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like predicting where my score will land based on the questions I solve. I also like the fact that the difficulty level of questions does not deviate from test to test. As far as competitors go, I have never used any other assessment platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is how the platform communicates what differentiates an 840 from an 841,842, 843, ..., 850 - it is unclear to me what differentiates these scores. Also, I wouldn't say I like that we are limited to one practice test daily. I think it's reasonable for CodeSignal to offer a testing mode where students can practice the categories of questions they'd prefer to practice. For instance, If I want to practice algorithmic questions (which tend to be the 4th question on the assessment), I would appreciate a test mode where I solely practice those types of questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it addresses the problem of biased interviews. I HATE the fact that many big tech company interviews are inconsistent, and the difficulty of the interview is contingent on the mood and will of the interviewer. In other words, these interviews are not standardized nor consistent, and these are the problems CodeSignals solve that benefit me.
The Best Insight to Internship OA's
What do you like best about the product?
It is the most accurate coding assessment prep site for what companies actually use for their interns. There are little to no differences between the mock test and the real one, which gives users the best insight into how their coding abilities compare to the various companies' expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to be nit-picky, I'd say that it is misleading how the questions increase in difficulty. Instead, I think all questions should have the same difficulty level but cover different aspects of one's coding abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of going into OAs without having a clue about what to expect, CodeSignal gives you an accurate depiction of what the baseline assessment is going to look like. With this intel, you should be better able to guide and direct your studying habits to meet that standard.
An amazing technical screening tool
What do you like best about the product?
The detailed feedback you get on the different aspects of the candidate's technical aptitude. It's not just a simple "did they pass this test case or not"
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more robust way to combat restricting candidates to one potentially bad result for 14 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalably reaching a wider net of technical talent and assessing that talent in a fraction of the time.
Codesignal is a great way to show many companies some insight on your coding ability at once
What do you like best about the product?
You can apply to many companies at once
The scores are unique to your strengths (speed, efficiency, correctness)

What do you dislike about the product?
For some people, timed tests aren't the best way to measure ability
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to compare across candidates in an analytical way
great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being about to have practice tests to be able to work with the product. The experience has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the scoring is kind of hard to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe its checking to see how prepared a candidate is.
