Recruiting CS students is a tricky problem, but it's helpful to have questions like this for interviews.

Unique questions - typically can't find it on LeetCode.

Sometimes the assessments are too easy and the grading curve becomes too steep and unable to differentiate good candidates

Nothing. I believe all the companies should shift to codesignal and make sure to chose the evaluation with proctoring as well. This might cost them a bit but would give good evaluation of the candidate.

In other code testing platforms, they dont provide proctoring and it doesn't give right understanding about employee's capability.

What do you like best about the product?
It has autocomplete feature when you type code. That way you can view. all the library methods and don't have to refer the javadocs.
Also supports multi languages.

Multiple participants can type without requesting control of the screen. I can't see when /where others are typing.

A great tool for technical interviews with a familiar editor.

I like that I can use keyboard shortcuts, such as Cmd+D inside the editor, which most online editors won't allow.

I have yet to find a downside to using this tool.

It's making technical interviews easy and lets candidates easily view their scores afterwards.
CodeSignal - an easy to use and effective platform
What do you like best about the product?
As the title suggests, CodeSignal is easy to use for everyone and is an effective method for companies to test potential candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scoring function is hard to correlate with how well someone did. Further, it is possible to cheat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy for companies to give out OA's and test my abilities.
Good platform for online assessments
What do you like best about the product?
There are standardized questions and many resources about these questions; for example, CodeSignal provides a document with statistics on possible scores based on the problems you've solved, which is helpful to know when preparing for their assessments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the time constraint on CodeSignal assessments. All the assessments I've taken are 60mins long, which I think may be slightly too short because most times, I've been close to finishing a question when the time is up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal provides a standardized online assessment platform, making the process fair for all applicants. Additionally, CodeSignal allows scores from one assessment to be sent to multiple companies, which is a huge time saver.

The help from the support center, they always reply fast and solve all my problems or give an alternative. The customer service is good.
