What do you like best about the product?
I liked that I was able to switch between tasks/challenges.
Also, it was great to have one extra minute to finalize and submit my solution.

Error stack trace contains a lot of unrelated information. It took some time to understand how to read it.
Custom test cases are tricky to write. When adding a new test case, it contains unrelated default data.
It was unclear to me how the final score was calculated.

I was using it as part of a technical interview.
The benefit was that it was easier to focus on the problem. I didn't need to explain my thought and code simultaneously.

A really good platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have only had the chance to use Codesignal as a candidate, so I assume this will be limited to a candidate's perspective.
I have used the platform for javascript and it's been great. The audio/video quality is great too. Added bonus is that you also have the option to blur the background in the video.
The default dark mode is pretty cool.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such from a candidate's viewpoint. The only thing, this may be nitpicking, is that the controls (the bottom bar basically) could be a bit larger.
I found it a bit weird to you have to signup in order to continue to a test link. If that step can be skipped, it would be great.

You have an all in one platform (again, from a candidate's perspective) to talk to the candidate, live coding, and run against a judge.
I haven't personally used the employer aspect of Codesignal. So that will be a review for another time.

What do you like best about the product?
All of the online assessments support proctoring and General Coding Assessment (GCA) results can be shared with multiple companies. The platform also supports custom assessments. The code editor is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
CodeSignal could provide more feedback to candidates on concepts to study after completing the assessment. CodeSignal also requires candidates to wait 14 days before they can retake the GCA and 180 days for other assessments including the Data Science and Java Specialized Assessments. These cooldowns could be reduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving algorithmic coding questions for the General Coding Assessment and other assessments. The platform has helped me move on to the next stages of the interview.
It is very randomized.

I like the coding aspect and how there are four questions that can test our coding ability more thoroughly.

I don't like how the questions are randomized. Some are harder than others.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the interface was very convenient to use and very intuitive to navigate. I particularly liked the easy navigation between questions since, it clearly tells you how to save progress and you are able to move back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as online coding assessment platforms, I think code signal is already best. If anything, (I'm not sure if it is by design) I feel like the run speed could be slightly faster, as every time I re-push code for testing, it takes the same length of time to compute which takes away from my timed assessment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code signal was a mandatory step for me to be considered for interviews. Thanks to my results, I was able to land at least round 1 of a company's interview process.
Cool experience using CodeSignal in the interview process
What do you like best about the product?
The programming platform used in my online assessment in CodeSignal is cool. I have used Leetcode, Hackerrank and other platforms for OA, and Codesignal is outstanding among these platforms, as it provides a clean and comfortable coding interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monitoring system is not that comfortable when using codesignal. As we need to share my whole screen and my audio during the Online Assessment, Codesignal may view my window, which may lose my privacy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal offers me the Online Assessment to check my algorithm and programming skills for companies. And I get trained more produced in programming and coding.
CodeSignal for Excellent Candidate Only
What do you like best about the product?
I took the GAA test. There were easy-medium-hard level questions for coding, a total of 4 questions. It tests our ability to write good code, logic, speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to solve all four questions in 70 min, maybe more time could have helped me solve all four.

Seamless integration of the platform in the interview experience.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and experience is very smooth. I never felt even once during the interview process that the interface is a hindrance. I was easily able to convert my thought into tangible code and the video in feature to support call + coding interview makes it a one stop solution for the interview process.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I connected through video on the platform, and I turned the video off, the mac showed that my camera was still being accessed. It is a minor fix that when a user clicks on video off, disconnect the camera as well so that it does not feel as if the video is still being accessed with the video being turned off by the user. You can test this out as well. Login to the interview, and then connect the video call. Post that turn off the video using the button; the mac will still show the green light, which represents that video is being accessed,.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used codesignal to build proficiency around the algorithms and database questions. It has been a great journey, the question bank covers most of the concepts, and the idea of gamify the experience makes me come back everyday.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great platform and easy to use. Highly recommend it for upskilling and considering it for the interview process as well.
