A good experience but it all feels a little dead
What do you like best about the product?
The problems are simple and fun yet challenging. They are well explained and there are useful tips too.the language choices are also nice! I never felt like the problem was the reason I couldn't solve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The IDE feels sluggish at times. Code completion/suggestions don't show up at al sometimes, or take a long time to do so. I also feel like the platform hasn't been touched in a while, as daily challenges haven't been updated in years it seems, and solving some challenges makes it sound like I'm the very first human to do so, which... Is almost freaky?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me refresh my memory. I had to spend a lot of time on on personal/family issues and it gave me a space where I could catch back up! It also helped with one of my coding tests for a job interview!

The scoring system - in order to do well you need to know the trick of solving Q4 before Q3

Helping companies find a quick way of interviewing candidates
Love the UI and experience. The problems are adequately levelled.

The interface and scores can be compared with the rest of the cohort. Gives an objective way to measure someone's skills.

The scoring system should be in the intro. So we can decide which questions to focus on and how much time to focus on each question.

Codesignal solves filtering out candidates. As a a candidate, it helps me show my skills and standout.
Very positive experience using CodeSignal for Dropbox application
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed using the web editor the most, it felt like a full IDE in my browser. Because I was using typescript I had intellisense and documentation right in the web editor, just like I would have when using an IDE. A lot of other code challenge platforms will just provide you with a plain text editor, making your experience unnecessarily difficult when you need to code everything from memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like running tests before submitting took a long amount of time. Since I wasn't allowed to use the Chrome console to test my code it would have been nice to have the CodeSignal tests run faster so I could continuously test my code as I'm writing it. When using a frontend language like TypeScript or JavaScript it would be nice to have the tests run locally, to speed up their execution time substantially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me prove to recruiters my coding and problem solving skills. Allows a much smoother interview process when I can answer engineering problems on my own time before a video interview.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the user interface for assessments and how Code Signals categorizes the test-takers in their defined slabs.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there's nothing to complain about. I must say, CodeSignal is doing a great job and you got to give it to them. It's rare when I give 10/10 ratings to an assessment platform.

CodeSignal is helping in improving the analytical and problem-solving skills of a lot of developers by providing meaningful assessments and helping many engineers in improving their thought-process.
