Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about code signal is even for the first time users its very easy to start using it without spending too much time on understanding the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The code suggestions are not that good and it sometimes feels like its lagging. And debugging options could be better which would help candidates a lot during the interview
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using code signal to collaborate with the candidates during the interview and its helping us a lot by enabling a smooth collaboration with minimal setup.
Similar to any other coding platform. Decent editor. Overall nice.
What do you like best about the product?
Editor only has the function that needs to be implemented. Unlike other editors where input parsing etc. code is also supplied.
Before the time is over it gives a warning. And I believe it gave me additional 1 minute to wrap it up. Which avoids unintended code submissions.

What do you dislike about the product?
"Submit" button may feel like it submits the test. So I am always very careful when clicking "Submit button" once I have completed one question out of several questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code signal is like every code editor that organisations use to hire people. So as a student, it can be used as a good practice platform to prepare for coding assessment rounds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The codesignal is very similar to other code editors, it doesnt require additional familiarisation.

The ease with which I was able to code efficiently.

The time period was a bit daunting but there is nothing that I dislike honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I completed my coding interview with RBC which consisted of String manipulations problem using Python. I improved my technical skills.

Try this platform before coding or technical screening for sure as it is used by many big companies

Really good. I really liked the layout and it really allowed me to really focus on the question that was being presented to me. Testing code was really nice and I really recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that testing code took a bit long at times. But this could depend on size of code input. So I'm not sure if I dislike CodeSignal or I dislike the test cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving coding questions. They are questions related to algorithms and data structures that are asked during interviews. I don't use CodeSignal for coding practice.
A simple and fair test process
What do you like best about the product?
The interface was simple to use and get into, the explanations on tests were straightforward and helpful, and the results were easy to understand and seemed fair.
What do you dislike about the product?
During the test process, there were a few times when the animations associated with the challenge explanations would lock up which made it more difficult to understand what was being asked for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used CodeSignal as part of the application process for a job. While I did not get the position it provided valuable feedback and has helped me to know what I can focus on improving.

the UI was pretty friendly and it did not take much time to get familiar with it , so I was easily able to pick a language of my choice and start coding with it

Nothing in particular , I was able to select the language I preferred and code with it without any problems . The test results tab was also handy , showing me the results that had passed or failed

solved python related problems for a coding assessment as a part of the hiring process for an internship . In general it helped me get in touch with competitive coding after a long time

Friendly layout and design. Updates quickly.

Not sure if it has it, but don't recall being offered an auto-fill feature. Would be very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
It is always great whenever I come to CodeSignal for practicing questions. I have given several tests too on CodeSignal and I am really impressed by their Procorting system, it allows the company to build trust in the student who has attempted the test.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I really didn't like about CodeSignal is that sometimes the complexity of some questions is really complicated but I think it is fair. I think CodeSignal should provide more complex questions for practice rather than giving them in tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving a lot of time by practicing multiple questions here of different levels of difficulty. Organizations can check my report of my test through which they can evaluate my performance.

If you really want to sharpen your programming skills and want to get a really good job then CodeSignal is the best place.
