A platform that makes online assessments fun
What do you like best about the product?
CodeSignal is a user-friendly platform that lets the interviewee focus on solving problems. The score-based approach makes it fun to try and get the best possible result to further one's chances of interviewing with a specific company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The format of the interview itself leaves a bit to be desired since there isn't anybody on the other side to provide clarifications if needed, but this is the reality of online assessments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal helps interviewees assess their skills and improve their problem-solving abilities by practicing on sample questions and proceeding through interview prep in an arcade-like manner.

The IDE is clean-looking and easy to use.

I did not find any difficulties in using the tool so far.

Filtering candidates before the company invest the time of their engineers.
Clean and elegant user interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface of this platform -- clear problem description, easy to navigate to different problems and easy to find out the tests that didn't pass when you test your code. The coding panel also works smoothly like a real IDE.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure how my code is graded. When there is not enough time left for me to finish all the problems, it seems writing some code also counts, but really, we don't know how the score is calculated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only used it once when I receive a coding test from the company that I applied for. I was solving coding problems, like manipulating strings. I guess we can also use it for practice later.

The questions were well thought out and explained in detail. There were multiple programming languages to choose from

I feel like the degree of how small of a process/compile time limit should be increased

I really liked the ranking and seeing the average of speed and complete took compared to others

It is a great platform for coding assessment. I had all the unique questions for the assessment. The platform had practice tests as well.

The test has less time and there were 4 questions.

I solved problems related to algorithms. Continuous practice will help me to get my dream job.
