Easy to try
What do you like best about the product?
UI is not bad, and it is easy to practice just like an actual company assessment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems like problems are chosen randomly, which may create issue in fairness and reliabilty of the score

Fast feedback on proctored tests.
A complete platform in itself
What do you like best about the product?
The way of judging a candidate based on multiple parameters like speed, accuracy, code writing skills etc. is something which makes CodeSignal extremely unique.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't exactly think of something which I disliked. However I believe that UI is something which can be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem being solved was to judge a candidate based on multiple skills as I mentioned earlier rather than just getting the problem solved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend CodeSignal to everyone who aspires to be a great software engineer and improve their coding skills.
Clean and straightforward platform
What do you like best about the product?
The process is really smooth, from signup to doing the test as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints to be honest, my code session went really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was participating in a hiring process for a software engineer position and CodeSignal allowed the company to assess my skills, the questions were really challenging and I even learned some things from the exam.
Flawless
What do you like best about the product?
Codesignal had a pretty good user interface and it works without any glitches. Support for various programming languages is also a plus
What do you dislike about the product?
The autocomplete feature of codesignal can be improved. It often recommends stuff that I don't use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a student and I have been giving various assesments on codesignal. It is really useful to companies who take tests remotely
Regular Coding platform
What do you like best about the product?
It had a dark theme which was very helpful. The ability to switch between programming questions was very smooth. Intellisense, VS Code. Competitors offer a smoother user experience and better fonts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often Intellisense was not accurate and not as helpful as other similar services on the market. You could provide auto-formatting, perhaps some commenting tools. The improvements could be added to the coding page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a coding test for a summer internship. I am not sure there were any financial benefits. I would have been more productive using my IDE. My business performance does not seem to have increased

It is like any other code interview service on the market

What do you like best about the product?
The editor, quality of questions, basically I liked everything during the test. Simply an excellent platform to give a coding test.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the scoring criteria could be quite more accurate as there is not much difference between the one who completes three questions and the one who completes four questions, but it actually makes quite a large difference while applying to any company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was solving some DSA questions in an online test conducted by a company. And the most important benefits of CodeSignal was its editor, and its auto-correct facilities which saved a lot of time during the test.

The overall UI and the process is very nice. The coding editor makes it very easy to debug your code, and the score feature keeps track of your progress in real-time, which is very helpful.

Nothing specific is missing from the product.

What do you like best about the product?
the platform is so user friendly, with a high engaging QA team support and provide best practices in programming assesments. providing a huge variety of programming languase and high support will definitely set HackerRank on the top of others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about this platform. So far, everything wnt very exexcellent and clear. Maintaining this high level of support would definitely will increase our performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform covers all the main programming languages like Java, C++,, and javascript. It helped us to speed up processing all the required steps so easily which led us to increase our persofmance.
I had no issues with this platform while completing a coding screen for a company I was applying to
What do you like best about the product?
I had no problems with the platform and it worked great as a way to assess my general coding skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to wait a minimum of a day to have my score verified is slightly inconvenient. It would be nice to have the verification process be entirely automated.

CodeSignal is part of a company's application process that I'd like to work for.
