Applying to multiple companies with one assessment
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the assessment is relevant to the type of work I am looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 14 day wait period to retake the exam is difficult, when multiple Companies request within a short time frame, and you have to send them the same one instead of getting the opportunity to take it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is that the platform itself is really easy to use.

Elegant User Interface, Nice problems. I liked solving problems there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't think of any downside. Everything is perfect.

Codesignal has made the hiring process seamless and easy.
A responsive and functional platform
What do you like best about the product?
UX is excellent compared to other platforms, responsive UI, better sample test cases that help find mistakes before submitting the final solution. Good debugging support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes function and parameter names are unnecessarily lengthy, but that is not a big issue as autocomplete works well, and you don't need to type those long names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I gave a technical assessment for a job. The platform was intuitive and helped me focus on solving the problems rather than scratching my head for where to write custom tests or figuring out where the code fails.

What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. Doesn't beat an IDE. It doesn't stand out against anything I have used. If you improved the auto complete feature and overall usability from a programmers standpoint maybe I would like the product more.

The lack of auto complete feature was annoying to work with when under stress. Everything works fine but it doesn't have the features I would expect from an IDE

Very simply and easy to follow user interface. Guidelines for plagiarism should be worded better.
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly it's just the simplicity of the experience. Nothing's more complicated than it needs to be. It's difficult to reach a word limit for this question, I really don't want to add fluff, it's simply just a really easy to use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if the guidelines for what constitute plagiarism was written by the employer of code signal, but I thought it was vague. For example, whether I could find common syntax pointers on StackOverflow wasn't clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone seeking a summer internship, I wouldn't say it's giving me direct benefits as much as it's just making the recruitment process for companies a lot easier.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a very simple platform for coders to use and it also scores effectively to judge candidates

The score can be somewhat arbitrary such as the speed

In order to effectively screen candidates. It saves time for companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a much better way than Hackerrank
Better way to conduct coding test for companies

One can use the same results again for different companies which saves a lot of time for candidates. The question difficulty level is also good.

Sometimes it is difficult to complete all 4 questions in the 70 min window

I mostly use codeSignal for assessments of the companies.
CodeSignal is the best of the interview-prep platforms.
What do you like best about the product?
CodeSignal's programming environment is intuitive to use and contains all of the keyboard shortcuts you could need. None of the other platforms have as clean a format. The test cases provided for programming problems are both intuitive and forgiving around edge cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because CodeSignal's problem arcade is linearly-designed, it is hard to jump between different categories of problems. It would be preferred if its tools allowed users to search through programming problems for a more targeted practice experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal is responsible for the majority of my coding problem and algorithm practice for technical interviews. The problems it provided were highly applicable to those I saw during interviews.

What do you like best about the product?
The questions were nice and tricky but manageable in the provided time frame. The autocomplete feature was really helpful. Compared to other platforms the instructions were nice and clear from start.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. Seems nice, could provide explanation to the score distribution and where marks were cut.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of now, I am not solving any problems with codesignal, but looking forward to solving them on this great platform in the future.
