Well designed difficulty that tests applicants for a large range of skillsets.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of choosing different languages for each problem. Not being limited was quite nice.
The difficulty in the design of the 4 problems was great. Ranged from very easy to with some considerable difficulty.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not that I could really think of. Maybe the end result's scoring could be slightly more explained?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use CodeSignal as part of my application for a job for companies.
Recommended for easy coding assessment
What do you like best about the product?
It looked and felt like IDE's that I am used to so it was really easy to focus on coding and not the environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited transparency in what factors determine score. For example, as a job candidate, I didn't know what would be more beneficial to my score: moving to another question or optimizing the current one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to have a proctored (or non-proctored) coding assessment in my own home.
prompt response to reported problems
What do you like best about the product?
The team contacted me in time after I reported a problem with my session. The validation process of the result is also fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no live chat that I can seek help for. Also maybe more compatible with safari?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did some code question with CodeSignal, and it helped me with my job seeking process.
Codesignal has a great set of problems and pretty UI
What do you like best about the product?
I love the UX and the problems set, they are both great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that people can see your solutions after solving them. Maybe adding a feature of making my code public or not
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve lots of algorithms and Data Structures there. They help me prepare for technical interviews
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend to take the tutorials when using it for interviews. It could be hard to use a platform like codesignal for the first time, but with a couple of problems solved it becomes easier and great.
Professional platform

The examples followed by question can be little more explanatory.

Taking coding assessment to get shortlisted for job openings

Code Signal Review
What do you like best about the product?
I really like CodeSignals UI and how they authenticate every coding assessment. I feel like making the coding assessment authenticated through multiple means such as through a video camera and microphone makes the test seem a lot more credible compared to competitors. I also think the UI is really good and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any problems so far. Overall it was a very good experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have mainly done coding assessments for various companies and went through some of the easy problems. I like the coding assessments because the problems are very creative and unique and test my problem solving skills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think its a really good service overall especially if your a recruiter trying to find good talent/
Hard but Effective, Scoring is subjective
What do you like best about the product?
I found out that if I do well on my code signal, I always hear back from the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the time constraints and the number of questions, it is hard to finish on time but that is good if you do well as it shows your competency as compared to other applicants. That is bad as it rules out candidates who were not able to complete thr test but had the skills to do it, it is way harder to perform well in online assignments. Scoring is also not understandable. I completed all questions fully and 10-15 mins before the deadline but still got marks cut off just for timing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I found out that I have to work very fast on codesignal. It benefited me as I was able to hear back from companies after that. My problem was just with the time constant and sometimes tricky questions for the number of questions and time given.
Better than Hackerrank!
What do you like best about the product?
The coding questions in my assessment were great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like the fact that the assessment was proctored. It is not necessary!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving coding problems. The problems on CodeSignal are quite different from the ones seen on other platforms like leetcode, hackerrank, etc.
Great but could have been better
What do you like best about the product?
The coding environment was good and proctoring was excellent. I liked the quality and balance in the difficulty of problems. The feature in the case of power cut impressed me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The marking scheme should include the total time taken as well. The difficulty could be increased a bit to better filter out potential candidates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Codesignal is helping me solve problems to better prepare for interviews of several companies. It is helping me improve my competitive coding skills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good platform to use, develop and test your skills.
