What do you like best about the product?
Below are some of the points which I think best about the codesignal platform: -

A) I liked the platform and the ease with which you can do coding.

B) I was able to prepare for real-time scenarios.

C) I learned how to tackle coding rounds for the companies.

D) I learned from the code review
What do you dislike about the product?
I think timing given to complete the test could have been more, in order to attempt all the questions timing could become an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code autocomplete really helped me to write code more quickly.

Coding assessment

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the UI, the little animations explaining the problems were neat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a part I dislike, but I hope that I will be able to get some interviews via my assessment score, so far I have yet to receive any. Not a problem on Code Signal necessarily, but I was hoping my 842/850 could at least get me maybe 1 interview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I visited Code Signal via RobinHood'c coding assessment.

Software Engineer Hiring Platform

  • August 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The overall theme, color contrasts, code autosuggestions
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the evaluation is slow, due to whicu important time is lost during a timed test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem solved by codesignal is to provide a means to take tests and interviews for software engineers by providing a dedicated software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ill definitely suggest codesignal for their quality of questions and user interface. The only consideration in mind should be compile and test time

Codesignal had good questions and a good UI, needs a little more clarity.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the questions. They were high quality and tested my skills well. I also liked the UI, as it was easy to follow and worked fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought that it should have been clarified that speed was important for the performance score. That could have changed how myself or others would have worked on the problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm getting help applying to companies in a relatively seamless way, which helps in a time where so many applications need to be sent to land a job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just keep in mind that speed matters! Otherwise, it's a great platform with quality questions.

Modern Testing platform for Next-gen Interviews

  • August 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The test proctoring part and then the manual inspection to eliminate false positives. This puts a check on students and promote fair play for genuine students. This also helps in hiring companies to reduce the volume of false positives or flukes in their hiring pipeline and in turn saves the hiring costs.
The difficulty of questions is also balanced according to levels of students existing into US market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Banning of static functions in C++ platform and highlighting it enough to educate first time test-giving students. This actually prevents some of the genuine users to perform well in the tests. Students see the static functions not working during their tests and starts panicking because generally static functions work on every other coding platform like Hackerrank etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am primarily working on different companies interview tests. One more benefit I found using Codesignal is the re-usability of test scores in other companies. Since the test score is valid for 1 year this removes the pressure from students to score and perform in every test given by different companies. If a student has performed good in one company test than he has the potential and need not to be checked again and again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would just say read my above three answers and you will get a fair idea about the potential of this platform from the point of view of a Test-taking student and also from the viewpoint of a technical recruiter looking to ease her hiring pipeline.

Great platform for starters

  • August 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Code-autocomplete feature in the IDE is the best part.
Questions are simple but the presence of mind and knowledge on the subject is needed to solve the questions correctly.
Hidden test cases make sure that you write a well-optimized code.
Clear and neat questions.
A definitely good place to start practice for programming job interviews for both the fresh grads and experienced people
What do you dislike about the product?
Some questions are really frustrating and very tough to get on with the edge cases and time is very limited in the assessment. It's very tough to complete all four questions in the 70 mins.
I would recommend increasing the time in online assessment from 70 to 90 minutes.
Or reduce the questions from 4 to 3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have taken Online assessment as part of the first round of Internship.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very useful. Definitely recommended for others.

Excellent IDE for an interview test faced till date!

What do you like best about the product?
IDE and it's cool auto-complete feature. Questions were also challenging to complete on time.
Most appreciated one is when you submit you get to see that not just the given cases even the hidden cases result. Appreciate it! It's such a relaxation for the person who wrote the test.
What do you dislike about the product?
I liked everything about the IDE when I used it. Cool!
There is one thing. Could you open all the questions instead of unlock the next question feature.
I would like to practice difficult ones rather than easy. So that would be of great help if the change has been made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't started with CodeSignal yet, but sure will start with dynamic programming and recursion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Right choice to practice from Side Signal, They have questions relatable to the interview preparations. But would like them to open all the questions instead of new features alone!
