Amazing Website for Testing Coding Skills
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that the website has an enormous library of questions and that it offers the questions in a playful manner. So you feel like you are playing while practicing your coding skills. It also allows you to write in almost every programming language.
What do you dislike about the product?
There wasn't much to dislike about the website and the experiment. But maybe a suggestion is removing the feature were the tasks are locked until you finish earlier ones in the game mode not the test as in the test you can already switch between tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal is amazing platform to test candidates for jobs. But it is also an amazing place to practice coding
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CodeSignal is an outstanding tool. you should give it a go whether you are an organization looking for hiring, or you are a programmer looking for practice
Smooth and clear experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how both intellisense, syntax highlighting and running code work in a smooth way, without hassle of any sort. I also love the fact that you usually don't have to process input file to extract function paramethers because the environment take care of that for you
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they could improve the way you can customize tests. Also the possibility of filtering problems by the most common questions viewed during interviews with big companies could be an interesting bonus
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use to solve daily challenges for fun, and specific topics to train for coding interviews. I land a job at Amazon thanks to the practice I've done there!

Codesignal is compiling your code very fast and assessing according to yout speed as well.

Debugging is hard. They can add line breakpoints for debug

Nothing specific, would be great to look at previous executed results

SQL, Python interview questions, i guess the question that i have found here were a good reflection of the actual ones.

Please start coding on CodeSignal to get the foundations correct and build a strong logic, if you are currently interviewing and preparing, it really makes a difference.

What do you like best about the product?
The best aspect of CodeSignal is the ease of use and how easy it is to navigate the UI. The questions are well explained and ample time is given to solve the questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit unclear that time is such a big factor in the grade and I spent quite a bit of time making sure my test cases passed and that my code was well documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal has let me think more analytically about algorithmic problems.

Go for it! It's great to use and is pretty effective at measuring computational skill.

A great assessment tool and accessible for developers
What do you like best about the product?
The platform has a variety of tests measuring different skill levels, and different skill subsets. Some questions are about understanding the problem, with a very easy solution. Some questions have several interesting edge cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes your errors aren't obvious when you are testing for edge cases. But thats part of the point of the platform. You may wish to be able to get information on several used test cases, but having to understand and design around only having a little bit of information is one of the skills you are tested for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal allowed me to understand what issues I had to work on in my day to day engineer work, some issues are not easy to see during the job. But an assessment platform can allow you to directly understand what sorts of issues you have to improve on.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the user interface and the code editor especially the appropriate positioning of the custom test cases
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any troubles so far. There weren't any hiccups or obstacles I faced regarding my submissions during the test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problems involving algorithms and data structures.

It's a nice platform to host programming competitions and a good community forum to discuss

The interface was great. Typing code is easy and syntax highlighting makes it easy on eyes.

Redirecting from Code Signal, back to the company's page was inconvenient. My test's status never got updated on the company's page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I gave an interview challenge in CodeSignal. I don't usually solve problems at CodeSignal because it requires a university email address to register and I am a working professional.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think code signal is great. One should give it a try and evaluate use cases in problems they are trying to solve.
