What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about DataGuard is the rare combination of smart software automation and actual human expert support. Instead of leaving you stranded with rigid templates or scattered spreadsheets, the platform gives you a clear, centralized system for all your GDPR and compliance tracking while backing it up with real consultants who can answer tricky regulatory questions. It completely takes the stress out of audit prep and day-to-day maintenance, saving our team a massive amount of time. Highly recommended if you want structured compliance without losing the human touch. It's definitely an investment, but totally worth it. Compared to hiring expensive external legal consultants by the hour, getting both the software platform and real expert support bundled together makes it very cost-effective and saves a ton of money.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main downside is the steep initial learning curve and a somewhat cluttered interface. Setting everything up requires more time and patience than expected, and fine-tuning basic templates to fit internal processes can occasionally feel too rigid.

I appreciate the reliable, fast, and precise support from Malte Rowe, which comes with clear, actionable recommendations instead of legal fog. He thoroughly reviews our documents, provides suitable templates, and clearly tells us what exactly needs to be done, allowing us to reach a release-ready result within a few weeks. Also, DataGuard's ability to make complex topics like third-country transfers and the use of AI legally secure and understandable, without us having to build our own data protection expertise, is a great advantage.

What do you like best about the product?

Our external data protection officer Hanna Shin always supports us promptly with urgent projects and prioritizes the most important tasks. This is particularly helpful for dynamic developments alongside, for example, the audit reports.

What do you dislike about the product?

The platform requires good knowledge in the field of data protection, which is not always present among some employees in supportive/supplying roles regarding the terminology.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

DataGuard / our contact person relieves us by providing support in adapting our extensively established structures and processes in the data protection area, allowing us to be more active in shaping new projects.

What do you like best about the product?

Humanising a pre-audit to ensure you're fully informed about what is to come, doing the check in a friendly and helpful manner. Specifically Jeruya T our internal auditor was unbelievably helpful throughout the whole process and helped us understand where the gaps in our documentation were and how to address them, doing it in a way that was clear, helpful and not making us feel bad for not having already addressed the issues.

Data protection and ISO 27001

What do you like best about the product?

The platform impresses with user-friendly navigation, high availability, and good performance. The support is very good and responds reliably to inquiries. The supporting staff provide expert assistance in the targeted use of the platform and offer valuable support during its introduction and application.

What do you dislike about the product?

Determine functions and areas, such as the Academy and the risk platform, that could be improved or expanded.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The high professional competence of the employees, as well as the platform with its numerous useful functions and information, particularly support the establishment and continuous development of an effective ISMS. Furthermore, the compliance platform enables comprehensive and clear handling of data protection-related issues.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the excellent support provided by the people. We have have been working with Onur and it has been an absolute pleasure. He is fast, precise and business oriented.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes there has been a high turnover of people. I hope this will not be the case in the future

360 compliance with applicable data protection law: product, customer, and vendor matters, as well as related issues.

Since Onur has been our dedicated contact person, communication and support have been great, and we have been able to resolve many matters promptly.

Professional, organised, and customer-focused. Very responsive and easy to work with.

Separate systems for ISO27001 and compliance, but only a minor friction in the experience.

Guiding us through our ISO27001 certification at high speed to meet deadlines.

What I appreciate most is the very collegial and professional collaboration with the consultants at DataGuard.
In particular, our main point of contact, Stephan Trenker, is always available to me and is able to answer almost any question I have regarding information security.
This gives me a great deal of confidence and reassurance in both the audits we have already completed and those that lie ahead.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I have not encountered anything with DataGuard that has caused me any concerns or dissatisfaction.
