Powerful LMS with many customizable features
What do you like best about the product?
We use Docebo for internal onboarding and training, and as a knowledge base. We can easily create branches and groups which work well for our flat organizational structure.
The interface can be easily customized through HTML or widgets and offers a lot of segmentation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Docebo is optimally designed for formal learning pathways. Our current use case is for less formal, internal employee training and development, and as a result, there are fewer analytics and reporting available to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo enables our employees to access a central repository for all training materials and resources, at their convenience. The ability to engage in just-in-time learning is a game changer for our organization and means less searching across shared drives and other platforms for answers.
We're hoping that Docebo will eventually offer integration with Box, not just Google Docs.

What do you like best about the product?
It´s very easy to schedule a meeting and get help via a call, quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, it would be more user-friendly for me if I did not have so many options on how to configure everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created online, pre-recorded courses for the basic features of our platform. This way, we save time for our SE team as they don´t have to give these courses live anymore.

The platform is highly customizable with loads of features, the training and support is excellent!

The highly customizable platform has allowed us to create employee and customer learning experiences exactly how we envision them. We are also able to expand a cohesive training program virtually.

With so many features and ways to customize, it can be a challenge to keep up with updates! Using the platform to its full potential requires a team dedicated to supporting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Docebo learning platform has allowed us to spread our team beyond the 4 walls of our office locations to anywhere in the world. We can better serve our customers with skilled employees close to the customer site, rather than a plane ride away.
Docebo is an excellent Learning Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Created content looks great in Docebo. The GUI is user-friendly for both the content creator and the learner. Docebo allows you to upload learning objects in various file formats and arrange them seamlessly in a course. The quiz and assignment options are excellent. I am happy with the reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that some advanced features are not immediately intuitive. For example, I have needed help from Docebo Support in order to understand how to set up and work with Observation Lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo has helped my organisation to keep track of mandatory compliance training. The courses were easy to create and the reporting options are perfect for quickly generating data for auditors.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a content creator and training coordinator, I enjoy using Docebo. It is intuitive, visually appealing and has some great features. The reporting tools meet our needs. The platform itself is reliable and we experience little or no technical issues. Whenever I've needed any help, I have found the Docebo Chat Support team to be excellent.

Beta product being falsely sold as enterprise-class
What do you like best about the product?
Option for custom CSS and custom dictionary. With a lot of effort, you can make the GUI somewhat user-friendly for learners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used Docebo as an admin for many years now and trained many thousands of learners with it. In that time, almost nothing in the product has improved. It feels like a beta product to this day. When they introduce something new, it takes years for them to incrementally add the things that should've been included from day one. Their developers have very clearly never used another LMS and constantly think about everything in the L&D/elearning space in the most backward ways.... then they spend the next few years undoing & redoing the counter-intuitive way they originally rolled something out. This is a company that's been overly focused on IPO and building shiny new features to hook in prospects while doing nothing for existing customers. Once those prospects convert to being paid customers, they quickly realize that all the shiny stuff is totally irrelevant to the day-to-day life of using and administering the product. I imagine Docebo is great for very small customers with very limited needs. If you're working in the enterprise space, forget about it. I will only advocate for Docebo once they start knocking off the enormous backlog of feature requests and polish up the very basic LMS functions that have been basically abandoned. Stop chasing cheap money grabs like Coach & Share or Shape and just fix your basic product please.

Ability to customize courses with various types of content (files, videos, text, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for "smaller" companies is lacking at times. Efficiencies with updates, smaller groups do not have access to a sandbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues with Channels and "New Invitations widget". Timezone issues after Daylight Savings Time. I've realized being more patient with support as they research our issues is vital. Also to just send videos from the start, there is a lot of struggle getting people to understand our use cases at time so just recording a video and talking through it will save everyone time. Wish we could call at times, but this is our next best option.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As for references and to view other platforms that are like sized as you will be. Seeing people with thousands more employees (or resources) isn't helpful.
Docebo has been a vast improvement to our previous LMS with much more robust capabilities.

Most helpful have been all the widgets, and customization within Docebo to other platforms! all the integrations they have using API has been fantastic, and recent updates coming out weekly letting us know what is coming makes it feel more like it will be working for us rather than with us. the reports functionality has been excellent with only 1 or 2 things missing. having the audit trail will be wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manual processes are incredibly taxing to do within Docebo. Simply assigning one person a different set of courses not within a learning plan takes up to 5 minutes. Unable to select one individual and add multiple courses at one time without using a CSV. CSV seems to be the main functionality to get around the laborious efforts for manual additions.
There are a few subtle nuances Docebo has, such as enabling cookies or making sure users are using the correct platform. Unfortunately for us, these nuances added up, and we have had an abundance of tracking completion records because of said issues...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
more automated processes have resulted in less time doing some of the old manual procedures we were needing to do. more administrator rights to various departments for different functionalities. Allowing Managers to manage a team within a branch or multiple branches.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely understand API, and CSV. Pay for Docebo to set everything up so you can focus on dealing with more important tasks with all of the additional apps they integrate with.

User Interface and user experience to manage the tool.

Capability to manage roles for power user as an administrator. Options available for the Survey to be triggered.

I am managing the admin issue and chat support is best option to get a resolution of day to day issue.

The complexity and inconsistency on the back end of things. For example, the inability to see what courses are in a catalog on the administrative page, unlike the ability to see what courses are in a learning plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collect many different types of training all in one place, and tailor it to the user looking at it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you know exactly what you want and can articulate that clearly, you can probably create it with Docebo. If you don't know what you want and want a platform that dictates flows and structures, choose something else.
