Docebo's LMS is user friendly, up to speed with recent technologies and almost fully customizable.

What do you like best about the product?
fast response rate of the customer service department
easy to use applications (e.g. notifications, certifications, e-signature etcetera)
multidomain use (possibility to create several "environments" within one and the same LMS)
What do you dislike about the product?
localization tool (nice that you can manage translations yourself but not easy to detect the correct word/paraphrase you wish to translate => reason: identical words/paraphrases used on several pages)
unannounced updates - changes in settings (e.g. new image file dimensions for thumbnail - suddenly my previously uploaded thumbnails were no longer entirely visible due to their wrong dimensions - in accordance with 'old' file dimensions)
loss of advanced search option for course enrollments since last update of course management (I previously looked at enrollments for my different branches but I cannot do so anymore since this option is no longer included in the new course management tool)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
several mini e-learning platforms within the same LMS (for multi internal use)
better knowledge retention by our local sales forces in Africa (on top of face-to-face product seminars)

What do you like best about the product?
The Docebo University and IdeasPortal for development are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you start you realise there is so much you can/want to do - and that most of it takes quite some time and configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching a larger audience that face-to-face training, also across multiple countries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Organisation is key!

Easy to use for administrator and easy to use by students

  • October 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact it is easy to use and the system work very well with SCORM format. The system is aslo intuitive for students.
What do you dislike about the product?
The part about report it is not so intuitive. More option to subscribe group of people to group of courses could be useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem solved is the fact we are working worldwide and using Docebo we can train all new employees remotely independently where they lives. Moreover the platform is external to company net so also distributors can access it.

Docebo LMS: State of the art Learning Management System for large enterprises (internal & external)

  • October 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very good usability for admins and end user, Flexibility in creation of pages and menus for different audiences, Customzation of the platform, Creation of subdomains for internal and external needs, Pre-build integration to some of the most common software provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing integrations to other providers (which may be integrated in future), Content creation options (a built-in authoring tool would be helpful), Complex procedure to evaluate test results of end users, Missing upload options of files in certain platform areas, Complex certificate template builder (a drag & drop feature could be very useful here).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're and we'll use Docebo for the internal training of 30.000+ employess worldwide and in parallel for external training, with the usage of the e-commerce app. This allows us to be more present on the training market. The platform will also be used in order to create a sort of knowledge base inside the company, where experts can exchange information and upgrade their skills in specific topics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Docebo LMS should be included in every short list while approaching the implementation of a LMS in a company. Due to it's flexibility, it can be used to cover several training use cases within one single platform, without the need of additional costs for further platforms. Further, the available integrations are very useful in order to integrate Docebo LMS in your companys IT landscape with little effort from your IT. The support team of Docebo is always available and reliable, when something is unclear or new feauteres were just released. A really great idea is to assign the account to a custumer success manager, that is really up-to-date about upcoming features of the platform and helps wherever he can to improve the usage of the platform.

Great LMS, always improving, and great support

  • October 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is highly customizable for the end-user, and it's pretty intuitive compared to other LMSs I have used. The back end is also quite straight-forward. Other LMSs I have used (looking at you, SumTotal) are a nightmare on the backend, with multiple nested menus, incomprehensibly named data fields, non-intuitive methods for building courses and curricula, etc. That isn't the case with Docebo. Docebo is clean, modern, and pretty fast. It doesn't require you to be an expert LMS administrator to make sense of it, and it doesn't feel like a bogged-down legacy product like most other LMSs on the market.

The localization tool is hugely powerful. The fact that the interface is available in so many languages "out of the box" is huge for our international user base. My colleagues in the Russia/CIS region were delighted to see Bosnian and Kazakh as options. The translations aren't always exactly what we want them to say, but it's very easy to make custom changes to the localizations.

It's not perfect, but Docebo is always making incremental improvements. Almost everything on my wish list has eventually been ticked off as they develop the product. The implementation of the central repository was the most important thing for me, as it made it much easier to update SCORM courses without having to ensure the manifest file was identical. I have found everyone on the Docebo team pleasant to work with. Support is responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Webex has traditionally been a challenge (but that might be due to more to Webex than Docebo). I definitely have found Docebo superior for managing digital courses rather than live ones, but I also have not tried to use that functionality in a while. Managing power users can sometimes be a pain.

I wish that the extended enterprise feature had a few more styling/customization options that didn't require CSS. There also doesn't seem to be a way to limit the catalogs that appear in the extended enterprise public-facing catalog, which makes it useless for us. It would also be great to have a better notification builder that could help design attractive e-mails without knowledge of HTML. Occasionally I have run into "mystery" issues here and there (in one case I had to change a system-generated message from the localization tool, which was kind of bizarre, but I guess made sense in a way), but generally support has been able to help me solve them. There have been times when certain administrative tasks have been a bit laborious, but it always seems to be getting better.

One thing that I definitely think could use improvement is the ability to get an overall view of an individual's progress/status. Generally, Docebo could use some improvements to be used for internal onboarding and training. There is a way to track certifications in Docebo, but we had difficulty trying to get it to really do what we wanted it to do. Along with that, it's hard to track ad-hoc learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing end-user training courses to a diverse group of end users and covering a number of products with differing security needs. For the most part, we've been able to implement the LMS in various ways to address the varying needs across our large business and product portfolio. Using extended enterprise, we've been able to build several portals with different content, branding, and access as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Docebo is great in general, but would particularly serve an organization that is not experienced in implementing an LMS. It is pretty straight-forward and easy to use, and definitely not overly-technical. Plus, support is great.

The Newbie Review

  • October 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best about Docebo - easy to use and easy to navigate. Very simple but unique platform - easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Docebo would be reporting feature. Granted the 'New Reports' is much better; however the audit trail needs to be more in depth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being the 'newbie' with my company, we have consolidated the campus side of the learning system. We are able to separate the health side from the campus side and this has really helped in researching past courses taken and as mentioned before; easy to navigate around for the end user.

Docebo Review. This LMS is super young in vibe. Easy to use and navigate

  • October 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to use platform
- Customizable
- Security
What do you dislike about the product?
There are functions that are basic, but missing. Especially on the reports part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- We are a company operating in six different countries, it was not wise to continue with the old set up, wherein we have to sent trainers abroad every time there is a new training.
- Right now everyone can take training modules at the comfort of their PC
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great value for money.

Great Training with Docebo

  • October 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly interface, the various possibility that Docebo offers to all the trainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way of matching test and user. If an user do a a test in a course, and this test was done in another course from the same user, the sistem can't recognise this difference, and It flags the test like already done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do a lot of test and correct It in a small time and in a standard mode.
