Feedback for 1Password
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using 1Password for the past 8 months, and it has become an essential tool in my daily work as a product support professional. I regularly log in to various tools and manage access to shared credentials across the organization. 1Password provides me with the perfect solution for managing access, setting validity periods, and organizing credentials by group or team.
The 1Password widget is a particularly wonderful feature, simplifying many tasks.
Overall, I would give 1Password a 4.9 out of 5 for its fantastic design, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. Thank you for delivering such a well-designed and practical tool!

What do you dislike about the product?
The 1Password widget, when there are over 100 credentials in the dropdown, it can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password helps me efficiently manage and access a large number of credentials across various tools that I use in my product support role. It solves the problem of securely storing and sharing credentials within the organization by providing a seamless way to organize them by group or team. The ability to set access controls and validity periods for shared credentials ensures proper security and management, saving me time and reducing the risk of unauthorized access. This greatly enhances my workflow by making it easier to log in to different systems quickly and securely.
Decent software, horrible for business.
What do you like best about the product?
Generally the app works fairly well for end-users who are fairly technically competent.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an IT and administration perspective, this software is horrible to administer. 1Password lacks very basic admin functionality that are present in most B2B software including bulk actions, important reporting, automation, and transfer of employee data at end of employment. Administrators doing basic tasks on the website have to enter their password to perform basically any action. You cannot open multiple tabs of the software without being asked to enter your password. It makes doing anything task for a business extremely slow.
From a security perspective, 1Password is good as far as its own application security, but it enables end users to do too easily do insecure things (e.g. sharing credentials and passwords they shouldn't be able to share without any way to limit them)
From an end-user perspective, 1Password is extremely difficult for end users to get setup, maintain and use. With significant difficulties whenever they change devices and forget their password. The Windows experience is significantly worse than the mac and most of our windows users have given up completely on using this software, which just wastes our money.
Their support is the worst I have experienced from any company ever. They do not pickup their phone and they are extremely slow to answer their emails. They basically will not escalate any issues to anyone beyond level one support and are exteremly dismissive about major issues.

Password management
Great Product, Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
We've used LastPass for years and was very happy with it until we decided to look elsewhere. 1Password's features are well and above our old product, it's easy to use, and after deploying to the whole of the company we've had very little push back / technical queries.
Onboarding was great, our onboarding rep was more than happy to spend time with us answering any question - no matter how small. We received Product demos, admin training, and because we were able to qualify, a training session for the whole company.
Using SSO has reduced friction and allowed us to implement with very little effort.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only one thing I dislike and that is the inability to set some defaults via a central policy, for instance it would be good to be able to set a maximum timeout on the company vaults.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to share some credentials with outside entities and that is what drew us to 1Password. What made us choose it was it's granularity, ease of use, and features such as being able to share entire vaults with guests - this is useful when, for instance, we change our support providers and credentials for systems needs to be shared securely.
Great Experience Loved it
What do you like best about the product?
It is easily understandable and easy to use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Noting everything is working well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
saving time remembering and logging in with the passwords
Love the Service Overall & Latest Improvements Have Been Great
What do you like best about the product?
Able to easily store all login credentials in a single place; for the most part, 1Password intelligently autofills passwords for a variety of websites and applications and easily keeps credentials synced across multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to more easily distinguish "personal" accounts from "work" accounts since I am currently using 1Password for both. Occasionally (depending on the website or application in question), it is also difficult to update login information when changing passwords, but for the preponderance of websites, it's relatively easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to move all my account logins to a single password manager and 1Password has been very helpful for that.
vital component to securely manage our group and teams
What do you like best about the product?
the robust direction of the software, we have using 1password for approximately 15 years now and it has evolved greatly over that period. The increased security we have is achieved by the simple onboarding and use for each new team member
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing, but I am forced to leave text here
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
manage multiple teams in different companies, share vaults
Forced to migrate and it was so easy
What do you like best about the product?
Modern interface, meets strict infosec requirements, Okta integration, excellent customer support, volume pricing, very simple migration path.
What do you dislike about the product?
Default roles are a bit confusing for my use case but I just need to call and talk to my onboarding specialist not a deal breaker by any means.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As per infosec requirement I needed to move my entire company from a password vault they had been using for a decade to 1Password. The prospect of this migration produced a great deal of anxiety throughout the company. 1Password insprired confidence by providing a clear migration path that enabled me to make the move with little to no disruption to the business.
1Password is near perfect! We use at work and I have a personal account as well!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely polished user interface, on all devices (PC, Android, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I can think of! It works really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password manager, 2FA, Passkeys, etc
Great for security
What do you like best about the product?
We use 1Password to add an additional layer of security for sensitive info.
What do you dislike about the product?
None I could think of. We haven't had issues with 1Password.
