Katalon: The One Stop Solution for your Test Automation!
What do you like best about the product?
1. The low-code rapid test automation is the key feature of Katalon Studio.
2. The Katalon Community helps a lot while automation the applications where one can connect with peers to get the solution.
3. The self-healing feature of Katalon.
4. The ability to automate Web, Desktop and Mobile apps any of the frameworks in demand i.e. BDD, TDD etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. It would be great if Katalon can support automation in other languages like Python. Currently, it only supports Java and Groovy.
2. There should be on-screen suggestions to the user if he/she wants to have multiple input sets in the test case.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. No need to learn the programming languages in depth to automate the applications in Katalon Studio.
2. Katalon helps in Rapid Test Automation as the applications are now being developed in low code rapid environments like Outsystems.

Katalon less scripting automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
We can record in Katalon both on Mobile or desktop. Also in the script tab, we can update the code based on our need
We can include iteration, branching, and Password masking using a decryption mechanism.
The best one out of Katalon is customization,
Self Healing test is the key feature that comes with a single click and especially in the Flaky UI environment, this option will be a savior for any UI automation tester, instead of being blamed that UI automation is not reliable.
Report integration with testOps will give the best executive summary.
Integration of BDD framework is another plus however, needs better reporting for BDD which can be achieved using extent reporting. In extent we can get both Executive summary as well as individual Feature level reporting

1. To use Katalon TestOps reporting, we need to only use Test Suite Run, This cannot be integrated with BDD framework

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less scripting code helped my junior testers to learn automation. Also, they were able to start automating the application at a very early stage of the carrier. Also integrated BDD framework helped our BAs and product Owners to contribute to Scenarios also they are helping us in recording the sessions for further updates

Automation using Recorder seems to be too fast thereby reducing the cost/budget, Very less time consumption to automate, and Reduces human/manual intervention in Retesting

WEB, MOBILE, API, DESKTOP Automation frameworks - all available in the free version and lots of plugins to connect to your test management tools.
No need to write complex codes nowadays to perform test automation as Katalon provides in-buillt functions ready to be customised and used in a very user friendly interface.

So far, I enjoy all the features. no complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Katalon Test Studio has helped me to overcome the issue of automated regression testing within projects I have worked.
The time for training new automation testers with this tool and the time to write new test cases is very less compared to other automation solutions, hence it is a quick and reliable tool when it comes to implement for any project.
Detailed reports and Test ops provide a better visibility on test execution runs and can be monitored over a historical period of time to track stability of code.

Katalon has made automation testing easier for beginners. It is really easy to set up and use

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Katalon is its intuitive interface which is easy to operate without much need for documentation (unless your test case is complex). Ease of deployment and record and play features are the other positives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it takes time to work and test the script. Though many features are free, certain necessary features have to be bought.

Katalon helped us deliver satisfactory results with web automation and test cases.

Katalon is a decent IDE that helps you automate test cases. But, I suggest you research more about the product on the ground of your use case.

TestOps is a cloud-based application designed to orchestrate test cases and DevOps. Its key modules are test management, test planning, and test execution. It’s seamlessly integrated with other Katalon products, testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools.

Great automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the groovy language and the inclusion of Selenium.
What do you dislike about the product?
The record and playback feature is hard to use, because we need to reorganise files and objects in order to coordinate et adjust the tree structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Test collections increase our ability to save time during the regression tests phase.

What do you like best about the product?
The main advantage by using katalon is its eas of deployment compared to selenium and a wide range of integrations and also has dual scripting interface with different programming skills for users.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now I don't find any anything to dislike and sometimes the execution time is bit high it takes long time and stuck there. It has performance issues and also will not support more scripting languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been solving many problems. It has cross browsing features and mainly it runs on selenium engine so all test scripts are well organized and understandable.

As Katalon Studio initially promised that its free and always free. So Katalon Studio should not be paid tool.
