Lucid - A better and cheaper version of Visio
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the collaboration elements of the tool, which integrates seamless with a variety of different users and types. Given that I manage a consulting business, the technology suite of most companies varies widely, so this is the great equalizer for me. It was very easy to use and implement across a wide variety of use cases and I tend to use this a lot because of those things.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some short keys that I've become somewhat used to when using Visio that I didn't see immediately when picking this up, but this is fairly common when moving from a Microsoft product to another product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tend to showcase with a lot of customers the from and to versions of key processes, which helps visualize to my clients the recommended changes. Also, by showing how complex one workstream vs. another is, they can quickly and easily see the "pain" associated with the process.
I spend time doing process workshops with clients and having everyone (regardless of a member) interact at the same time, and virtually, it makes the workshop much more interactive and engaging. This allows anyone on the team, regardless of stature, the ability to provide their perspective.
