Used netezza on a basic level
What do you like best about the product?
Process speed and performance are good with netezza and it is IBM owned product which means stability
What do you dislike about the product?
Complicated to learn netezza by own or practice. There is nothing much to dislike

I have not used netezza much to solve

It can be installed on Linux system not on a Windows system.

We used to use Netezza DWA for analyzing data loaded from different applications. This helped clients to make decisions easily.

Faster performance is the key factor for coping with competitors. Netezza is faster and easy to manage.

High Performance -> Ability to give robust performance with high data volume.

Statistics Maintenance & Grooming for tables are manual work..lack of good multi-language support

The Reporting platform is built with Netezza Data Warehouse. Its giving very good performance which leads to user sanctification.

if you seeking for a Data-warehouse gives high performance with huge data loads go for Netezza DW

Designed for faster read & proven implementation for concurrent user. Easy to install, scale up & maintain appliance. Easier to replicate databases & provide support.

I dislike few patching tampering user group profile. Also non availability of materialized views.

Analytical journey backbone is Netezza. Benefit is faster read & multi user support.

Performance of the netezza server is just awesome!

Integration with other ETL tools like Informatica causes the creation of too many tmp files that don't necessarily clean up after.

REduction of daily and monthly loads into the enterprise data warehouse. This inturn enables the usage of the data by our reporting and analytics users more effectively

What do you like best about the product?
When used properly it is very fast for analytics on large amounts of data. The system is reliable and is highly available.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, disk failure rate (2 or 3 a month sometimes) seems excessive, but it is fault tolerant enough to handle the failures

Business reporting and data analytics. Loads and Reports that ran in hours before take much less time
