Website development using Hubspot
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is designed very clear for easy click, drop, and moving elements around. The support staff is excellent and professional, always answered my questions with clear instructions, and solves my issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot use 'delete' on the keyboard to remove an element. Would like more shortcut keys.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company needs a fresh new website, and we do not have an IT team to back up the technical side of developing a website. As the graphic designer of our business, I am able to build a professional, modern website from scratch, which contains all the content we need to display to the public.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For website building, this is an easy to use platform with great support 24/7. As an inexperienced person in website creation, I was able to develop a professional and comprehensive website by myself, with excellent IT support from Hubspot 24/7. I have left multiple comments to complement the customer service staff.
Hubspot is continuingly developing in the backend as well, when I started on the website development there was no customization available for the mobile version, one month down the track mobile customization was available to me.
The onboarding service we received was extremely helpful, the staff was very patient and took me through every step, even after the onboarding contract has ended he was still offering to help when I have any issues.

Advanced CMS with good features
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is an excellent platform for developing a website for start ups and medium sized companies. The CMS offers powerful and user friendly tools to develop robust websites. It has a slightly different way to handling website as compared to other CMS like WordPress. But this also has a lot of marketing abilities that you can take benefit of. It allows developers to create reusable modules that can be used to different pages with same or different values. It has a vast number of applications and getting to know one particular aspect can be time consuming but worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot has a very small community and online presence. Because of this there are not many resources available to solve certain bugs. So, if you run into a bug and can not find anything online, you'll be stuck and might have to figure things out on your own, which may take a while and can be frustrating at times. Another thing is the blog page of a website. A blog page has be developed by coding. There is no way of making it easy, if you're trying to avoid coding in HubSpot. HubSpot has its own coding language which can be tricky to master or get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot helps me develop web pages with a considerable ease and taking less time. But this only comes with time and experience. I can reuse modules on different pages. Edit menus of all pages by editing it in one place. The content staging feature is also sort of advanced and can make things easier and efficient if used correctly. You can make a new version of a web page and keep it as a staged page and then show it to the concerned parties and if they approve it, you can just replace the current page with the new page with few button clicks.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is a very robust platform that offers many options for a company to catapult its market and online presence. When attempting to build a landing page/website, it is very easy to build and guides you through the creation process in real-time. Hubspot allows you to add content to build your website through a template or from scratch but still make it personal to your business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the platform is so robust, it can be very overwhelming if you are trying to learn it on your own. However, Hubspot offers a helpful knowledge center that will answer all the questions one may have while navigating their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me understand how beneficial and important it is for branding to have a professional landing page.

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is extremely flexible with outstanding customer support. The developers are always responsive and able to help me when I get stuck.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot is a new platform for me, so I have lots to learn to find my way around, understand the capability and utilise its full capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I inherited the website built with HubSpot. I am trying to make the pages more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly. I also need to set up several communication workflows.

SEO in HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
I think my favorite feature may be the SEO functionality in HubSpot's CMS Hub. It is incredibly easy to navigate and use. A beginner can get a huge step up in SEO support, and even a more advanced SEO can benefit from the "checklist" mentality that the tool provides. The ability to create topic clusters has never been easier - to see it mapped out helps conceptually and functionally!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have any "dislikes", but rather updates I would like to see down the road. And HubSpot is constantly rolling out additional features, so I know I have functionality to look forward to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The CMS Hub allows are department members to be more self-sufficient. Not everyone on our team is WordPress savvy, but they are all HubSpot savvy. We no longer have to rely on our webmaster to push blog and landing pages live, make small tweaks to meta descriptions and page titles, and so on. The CMS Hub empowers our team to contribute more to parts of our website than they ever have before.
Easy to use SEO reminder features
What do you like best about the product?
When creating a page there is a nifty little tool to analyze and remind you of basic SEO principles and common mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hubspot CMS is a rather large, feature filled application. As such, it can be quite intimidating when first getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're saving time by using the chat-bot feature, answering commonly asked questions with automated responses, and customer service routing.

The most robust CMS I have used to date!

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot CMS has improved dramatically with their new CMS theming introduced in Spring 2020. This has enabled more flexibility and options to build websites quickly, with minimal developer time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any real dislikes, as the CMS works far better than other CMS platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have seen a dramatic reduction in Development time. Much of what could only be done by developers can now be done by all of the marketing team. Layouts are much easier to develop and overall theme edits are now easy.

I'm able to tackle some low-hanging fruit
Very easy and intuitive UX, some features like live preview are not available

Full flexibility on adding new modules and features that aren't easily available in other CMS/website builders such as Squarespace. Easily be able to choose brand colors with ease and adjust format and layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not fully fleshed out and some modules/plug-ins had to be directly edited via source code. Most modules provided by Hubspot or its developers do not have documentation which made setting up a site take much longer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to create a comprehensive site showcasing all of our new, incoming products for 2021 for a major show in our industry. It provided a seamless experience for customers and industry representatives to browse through our new selections and access our news and updates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great starting point to build landing pages or simple websites. Do not expect the most complex/unique templates and features to showcase your site, but it performs most basic functions to satisfactory levels. Many templates do not have comprehensive mobile layouts, I had to go back into source code to adjust how some elements were populating.
Custom modules changed the CMS for the better
What do you like best about the product?
Custom modules and the flexibility they provide vs. older versions of the COS/CMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its small but one of the pieces I dislike the most is when you put an image in the site and change the alt text there is no way to know the original image file name and find it in the file manager. This can become challenging and frustrating at times as the alt text overrides it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits with custom modules has made the CMS much more versatile for design and speed to deploy. It was the biggest game changer with the CMS in the last 5 years.
