Your Complete Marketing Department -- All in One Place

What do you like best about the product?
The really great thing about Hubspot is that it operates like a CRM, in fact having its own internal CRM system. Even though our business doesn't use it as a CRM, because I understand how a CRM system works, I understand how data flows within HubSpot. It's just a smart approach to marketing that allows you to market to specific segments, make powerful automated WorkFlows, and so much more. I also love the features where you can present different content to people based on their property values. For example, you could have a different image appear in an email or on a page based on which industry your contact is in. This is really helpful for creating a really tailored experience subtly without creating many different URLs with similar content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it doesn't have a native integration with Dynamics CRM. Because it isn't built-in, you have to use a third-party developer to make this connection happen. If you use a different CRM, you may not have this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We essentially run the entire marketing department from HubSpot. We use it as our website manager, to build landing pages, to host a video library, email marketing, all of our social monitoring and publication, WorkFlows for all of our automated marketing campaigns, and much more. HubSpot makes sure that all of the parts of our marketing efforts talk with each other and flow together nicely. We're able to, for example, send specific email marketing to people based on their browsing history on our site, use forms to build progressive profiles of our prospects if they request multiple resources, and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is one of the best full-service marketing and CRM platforms out there. I do recommend it for marketing teams, and although I have not used it for the sales side, I think from looking at the features that it would meet the needs of many teams, so long as they don't require heavy customization or specific solutions.

I would recommend deciding in advance how you want data to flow and if you will choose to use the integrated HubSpot website manager or not. I think there's some really great benefits to using the website part with the marketing platform, including being able to adjust content on sites to fit user information you have in your HubSpot CRM.

My sense is that you can scale your HubSpot solution to anything you could need, and the price adjust with that as well, so make sure you aren't overbuying at first. Evaluate your needs carefully and likely you will get exactly what you need without getting things you don't need.

I also recommend taking a good look at WorkFlows. This is one of the most powerful features in the software that lets you automate campaigns around any goals you could possibly imagine and utilize every piece of data you have, such as a field value or a user's browsing history, to customize different steps and lead to the outcomes you want.

Helpful and Effective

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the videos explain how things work, etc. Lots of imagery, examples and clear explanations. I like the way they make a complex topic, very simple to understand and work with! I like the layout of the statistics and the format they show analytics of blog posts, social posts, landing page and form submissions and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the time it takes to receive help with some technical questions/problems. Answers sometimes take multiple days to get back to me. I would like to be able to have a faster response time rather than it taking an extended period of time to get help on an issue. I'd also enjoy monthly reviews/updates on how the stats of the business are doing in the marketing aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am helping the company I work with grow and increase their leads and brand awareness! I enjoy having all platforms controlled and measurable in one place. Everything is organized and easy to read and understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Faster response time

My experience with HubSpot

What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, and it's really user friendly, amazing platform. The way you can storage all different kind of contacts, let you to create different list and start to filter your content to the specifi public you want to share. Also, it's a really easy way to schedule your social media content and mail, you just need to create your calendar, your content, and just uploading it you can just schedule the post/mail and let you waork on another stuff, it's really really a good platform that everybody should use
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is a little bit difficult to change some thing that comes from the main code and your have to ask for help to the team. Even tho is a really easy platform, you really need to dig a little bit when it comes to search something on the code, or change things from the style sheet; maybe there could be another easy way to change some things. But that's actually the only thing that "dislikes" me from hubspot, at the end of the day is an amazing platform to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email marketing is a lot of easier right now, when it comes to social media, it's really hepfull the way hubspot can let you post different kind of posts and schedule them to let you work on other things, and as landing pages builder, I think it's AMAZING!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have to be very organized to enjoy the platform at their full. It's a really good and fun site.

Great CRM software that has really helped our team!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way Hubspot is organized, and I love how many different ways it can be used in communicating with our prospects and customers. I can use it to create and publish blog posts, social media posts, and updating the website. It's easy to navigate from one tool to the other. It's very easy to access data and analytics from campaigns. It has also allowed us to build a beautiful new website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are glitches on the site which can be frustrating to deal with since I rely on it everyday. I also think some of the Hubspot Academy lessons can be a bit repetitive. There's not a whole lot of things that I dislike about Hubspot overall, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are simplifying the way we receive prospect's contact information and the way we keep them organized in the funnel. We are also utilizing the social media publishing calendar to better plan and manage our weekly content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be open-minded to it, definitely take advantage of the Hubspot Academy and support offered when you first start learning the ropes as they can be very helpful.

A great way to work with multiple departments.

What do you like best about the product?
How it can concentrate the information from multiple teams and makes it accessible for everyone. The integration with other tools. Their knowledge base is great! HubSpot has a lot of resources to teach you how to get the best of their services.

I started editing and managing a website for the first time on HubSpot and the process to learn and work with it was straightforward and simple.

The possibility to work with web templates from other sources or brands, the easy integration, and edition.

How it integrates helpful marketing tools on the websites, like forms, landing page, a/b tests, blogs, subscriptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
For emails, especially the signatures, the only way to edit/design them to match your brand guidelines is trough HTML.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building and editing a website with multiple team members working on it at the same time, all the files are available for everyone. It is so easy to work with it, even for the new members that are their first time working on websites and HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always read their resources, they have a lot of information with easy steps to follow and instructions.

The marketing software that drives our department

  • February 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing our efforts measured from emails to landing pages and social media posts. Seeing tracking on our basic links that we use for social posts is INSANELY helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things are a little difficult to navigate, but tutorials and user support make it easy to find what we need to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can reach our entire customer base with a series of emails targeted for each market segment. Not only that, but we can capture new leads while we're out there in the real world with forms and landing pages through Hubspot. We can identify which of our efforts are driving the most traffic and converting the most potential customers with our metrics, and alter our tactics based on those numbers. Hubspot makes the task of tracking our efforts and our users exciting and insightful rather than a laborious task no one looks forward to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you require the ability to manage multiple users, multiple social media pages, multiple email lists, multiple email templates, build functionally strong landing pages, and a strong and easy-to-use visual editor, Hubspot Marketing is for you.

HubSpot is easy to learn, user-friendly, and the customer service is top notch

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Help can come in a quick chat, email, or phone call. The customer service representatives are well trained and very knowledgeable. They're always patient with my questions and walk me through every step.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some features about HubSpot like the inability to change Campaign names. I'm also having a hard time mapping Salesforce with Hubspot because the domain names of companies often do not match up properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incredible CRM, in every way possible. Makes managing website, social media, email campaigns, on page SEO all so simple from one platform. I love the SEO recommendations, please don't take it away!

An excellent tool for companies large and small to grow their business

  • February 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with HubSpot is mostly within the Marketing hub. HubSpot is that rare beast, which is a tool that is very easy to pick up and learn, but is incredibly deep and offers a surprising number of customisation options. Designing emails or landing pages, for example, can be done via a simple drag-and-drop builder, or if you're a developer, you can dive straight into the excellent Design Manager and hand-code things yourself. The automation options are likewise very easy to set up, but will allow you to build very complicated workflows to automate many aspects of your customer journeys. Support is excellent - available via email, phone and live chat. The few times I've experienced little bugs or have needed advice on something I've been able to speak to someone knowledgable within a minute or two. From a UX perspective, HubSpot is a long way ahead of other tools - I'm always happier working in HubSpot than in competitors MAPs.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a user experience, there is very little I dislike about HubSpot. The pricing models seem to change from time-to-time, and it is more expensive now than it has been in the past - but this also reflects an expanded offering. For a new business starting out the Starter, Basic and even Professional packages really offer excellent value for money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've run everything from simple nurture campaigns, through to hosting entire content hubs and running year-long nurture streams via HubSpot. Our clients have realised savings on using one tool, instead of a mish-mash of tools, as well as the reporting and security benefits of having everything in one platform. It's easy to see what's working and what isn't through the detailed reporting and make corrections to continually optimise campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to map out, in detail, your requirements from a Marketing/Sales/Service platform. For those that you're not sure about, reach out to a HubSpot rep - they'll be happy to talk you through solutions for those that may seem unavailable out of the box. It's surprising what you can achieve with some of the deeper functionality.

HubSpot review

  • February 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the closed-loop analytics and data capture opportunities, when hosting your website, landing pages or blog within HubSpot alongside your CRM. HubSpot is really easy to use, and there is great support for new users. If you want to stretch yourself, there's the HubSpot Academy where you can learn more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. HubSpot's UX is easy to to follow, and the design of the platform is great. It's easy to lear with a wealth of training for new users. In the early days, using HubSpot as a CMS for your website was simplistic, but there has been a lot of great work in this area, and this now rivals any competitor and is thoroughly recommended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a freelance developer, I'm helping customers move their websites onto HubSpot to benefit from the closed-loop reporting. The new-style modules give great opportunities to mix-and-match to give a range of nicely designed web or landing pages, and are easy to use. The benefits of having HubSpot manage your website, it's hosting, the SSL, the CDN - everything! - makes life so much easier, and gets you up-and-running faster. This applies to both new and experienced users.

Growing Better with HubSpot

  • February 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, I love using HubSpot to get my marketing tasks done every day. There is always more than one way to solve a problem. It's great how my abilities with the tool have grown as the company I work for grows as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I run into certain obstacles that feel like they should be possible in HubSpot, but they aren't. One example would be CC'ing people on emails sent via workflows. I also find going back and forth between the landing page builder and design tools to be a clunky way to create a good looking landing page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use HubSpot for so much on our team. From web content creation and management to social and email marketing, it's really nice having a place that I can get so much done in without having to use many different tools. HubSpot makes things like email customization much easier than other platforms I have worked with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to catalyze your learning of the tool (and it's in your budget), I would recommend getting a consultant who specializes in teaching to do working sessions with you or the person who will be working in HubSpot primarily. Within six months, it is possible to become very proficient with HubSpot. Then, you will have someone who can answer questions or solve problems for the entire team.
