A powerful and flexible tool for marketing, sales, and customer success teams

What do you like best about the product?
From its workflows and automation to the reporting and analytics tools, Hubspot provides users with the tools they need to market to prospects as well as the insights necessary to maintaining healthy customer relationships. The platform is easy to use, and there is a vast knowledge base as well as a comprehensive resource library that users can access as needed. Additionally, the customer success managers I've interacted with have all been very responsive and supportive. The training classes I've attended were very beneficial and informative as well, and last year's INBOUND conference was excellent. My experiences with Hubspot have been great!
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, there really aren't any downsides to using Hubspot. In all the time I've used the software, we've only ever encountered glitches a few times, and those are inherent with any software platform. Hubspot has always been excellent about communicating with customers and resolving issues quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hubspot, we've been able to take a much more strategic approach to marketing. The platform enables us to quantify the results of our initiatives and ensure marketing attribution. As a brand and content marketer, Hubspot has enabled me to accurately track and measure engagement and the effectiveness of the content and campaigns for which I'm responsible.

I've recently switched jobs and my new employer is newer to Hubspot, so we're still in the process of setting everything up; however, we will be utilizing the platform company wide versus solely by marketing (as at my former employer). I'm excited for the difference this will make for our entire organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When implementing Hubspot across an entire organization, maintaining consistency can be challenging (particularly when use spans multiple teams and many users), so establishing and enforcing best practices is definitely important.

A world of uses in a single tool. I recommend for all people.

What do you like best about the product?
Watch all the analytics about blogs, landing pages, email and Ads. It's a great tool for integrating Salesforce CRM and analyzing all the outstanding opportunities. Plus, it helps you keep track of your hottest leads more accurately. I would also add that it is a tool that helps us to report and extract all the information obtained and share it with the whole team. Finally, to conclude I would mention the excellent tips that Hubspot offers to improve SEO, adding a suitable title, introduction and keywords.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like least about Hubspot is the difficulty in finding that CTA within the different blogs have had more clicks. You can see how many clicks each CTA has individually, but not which blog they appear on. Hubspot in general is quite intuitive and easy to use, but getting some extra help to find some specific services would help me to speed up its use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a tool that has helped us solve problems with blog templates and corporate emails. They are very easy to modify or add the features we want. Is a tool that give me all the information about my content. The benefits that can be found mainly are that it is a very precise tool to know the evolution of the visits to our website, blog posts, opportunities won, opportunities lost or pending. It also helps us to organize the schedule of the meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool that is useful to control your web traffic, organize your CRM or send emails... this is your tool!

One-Stop Hub for All Things Marketing

What do you like best about the product?
I find from an administrative/logistics perspective, the platform is quite easy to use.

I really enjoy the addition of the drag and drop email and webpage features. These have made those functions much easier to use and customize for the average user that may not have code/HTML experience.

The social media functionality is also easy to use and I enjoy the full calendar view the best. This makes it simple to see where you have things scheduled and to manage the planning process. Many aspects of Hubspot are helpful for seeing the big-picture in this way.

I'm also a fan of the automation with the workflows feature, this is particularly helpful for email campaigns. Beyond that we also use it for SFDC integration, content delivery, and other internal email notifications. But I would say it's definitely most effective for email campaigns.

We also avidly use the app integrations, which come in handy. Specifically, the GoToWebinar integration has been helpful for us and provides greater insight for our reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and analytics could be better. We don't use the dashboards much, and don't find the insights particularly helpful for our needs. We tend to do all of our reporting out of SFDC rather than out of Hubspot because of the reporting limitations. As another example, I tend to pull our social analytics from the actual sites, rather than out of Hubspot. The integration to SFDC took a bit of work to get to a place where we could use it effectively. It could have been much more seamless.

Also, the limitations with lead scoring, such as restrictions on the amount of properties you can track, has been an issue. We've had to find ways around it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot is the basis for all our marketing activity, from website to email to social and more. Having all of those features in one platform is extremely helpful and prevents the need to waste time hopping and jumping between platforms. For a company like ours, mid-size with a very small marketing team, this makes everything manageable without the need for much outside help or influence for contractors, etc. Our marketing team fully relies on Hubspot to get our day-to-day tasks done and keep our marketing engine running. Our use of Hubspot extends to our sales team to enable them with better transparency into marketing initiatives, lead generation, and more.

Excellent integrated platform for inbound marketing

  • January 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the way the various tools (CMS, CTAs, Email Marketing, Social Publishing, etc.) are all on the same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more design/layout functionality built into the landing page tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're all-in on inbound marketing, Hubspot has all the right tools to help you implement a cohesive, effective inbound strategy.

One of the best multi purpose softwares

What do you like best about the product?
The best for me is that you get detailed reports on how an article is doing with an udience. The courses are very helpful as a way of getting more knowledge for doing a better job in writting and producing interesting blog content, with a good SEO margin.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it was a bit complicated to get the use of the software. But eventually I got pretty good at using every tool to my advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fist problem was the fact that the company didn't had any tools for measuring the reach of the content that was being published. Now we have detailed information that helps us find new topics that users might be interested to see information about.
This also includes talking to the audience about our company and the services we give to our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best advice I can give is that you must use as much as you can of this software is very complete and you can use it for sales, content creation and specific reports on any of your company's activities.

Highly Detailed Yet Extremely Accessible

What do you like best about the product?
I have always been a fan of HubSpot's interface and the company as a whole. Very user friendly even it comes to potentially messy areas like the marketing automation workflows and managing folders and folders of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of reports that have been recommended in the HubSpot Community (a GREAT resource) that seemed to be continually deprioritized. The HS staff, however, is often very helpful in identifying a workaround.

Also, the Ads section could be great improved. It's unclear if HubSpot pushes conversion data back to the primary ad partner so managing most ad activity in HubSpot is difficult. The retargeting options are fairly limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Marketing and Sales Alignment: We have been able to consistently and automatically tag high quality leads and funnel them to to the proper marketing channels and reps

- Content Marketing & Planning: The SEO function is great and our pillar content strategy aligns exactly with how HubSpot has build much of their content features

- Marketing & Sales Analytics: The pre-made reports are really helpful to only quickly set up dashboards, but it helps our team think about the functions as a singular unit and be more successful. The ability to create reports across more than one record is also very helpful especially for people like myself that want to identify the tiny bits of data that can make a big difference.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the onboarding period you have with the HubSpot rep. We knew exactly what we wanted to accomplish within the first few months once onboarding was finalized so after the initial setup, we were all aligned and how to set up our platform for success.

Hubspot is a necessary marketing tool

  • January 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot can handle so many important pieces from blog posts, social posts, forms, CTAs, emails, workflows, not to mention general customer and prospect management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Hubspot. The only hard part is keeping people using it the way it is meant to be used and sticking to the established processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many. We use Hubspot's metrics to inform of all marketing decisions. We also utilize workflows to automate nurture emails and appropriate responses based on user journey.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is a powerful tool that covers about everything - email, website, landing pages, blog management, social (organic & paid). They also have great support and an incredible library of learning!

What do you like best about the product?
That everything is under one program - social, email, blog, web!
What do you dislike about the product?
The ads and instagram capabilities are lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The code is not universal. The support is great!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use and covers a lot of marketing ground.

HubSpot offers great automation. This automation saves myself and my company time and resources.

  • January 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about HubSpot is its automation capabilities. These automation capabilities save myself and my company, Fund That Flip a great deal of time and resources. With this extra time and resources, we are able to allocate them elsewhere, allowing for more efficient day-to-day business activity. I firmly believe that these things are major contributors to our company's success as well as my individual success in my role of marketing coordinator/content marketing coordinator here at Fund That Flip. I also appreciate how helpful HubSpot technical support is. On multiple occasions my team has called in and not only are the representatives friendly and willing to help out, but nearly always assist us in finding a solution to our problem(s.)
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about HubSpot is that there is an error where sometimes it won't let you upload videos to Instagram. I know that this is an error with HubSpot because when I upload the video off platform, it always works. HubSpot typically gives me error messages saying that the video is too long (though they are always 1 minute or less) or that the bitrate is too high. Additionally, tagging features could be improved as well. Sometimes recommendations come up when using the @ and other times they do not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As previously touched on, HubSpot allows my company and me to save a great amount of time and resources, specifically with its automation capabilities. Having these automation capabilities for our website and social media accounts allow us to ensure our brand voice as well as save time and resources that can be allocated elsewhere, leading to higher productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While I have not used a great deal of CRM platforms (as I am in the very early stages of my career), HubSpot has always been one of the few CRMs that has been a top-of-mind brand name. From HubSpot trainings and more, it is a name that came up during my college curriculum. I would say that considering this, the platform is relatively easy to use and navigate.

I got to page 1 of search results in one week with HubSpot Pillar Pages.

  • January 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HupSpot keeps all of our contacts, customers, and prospects organized, and makes it SO easy to publish blog posts and website pages, and track the analytics for each.

Thanks to using HubSpot's Pillar Page feature (which is amazing!), I was able to publish a blog, create backlinks, and get it to the first page at the number 6 search result in just one week.

HubSpot is user-friendly, offers useful tips, and makes publishing everything a breeze.

It also integrates directly with Salesforce, so we can update information in our CRM as soon as it is entered into HubSpot -- like a new contact visiting our site or a current contact visiting a page on our site for more information.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is that I didn't start using HubSpot until now. It's excellent. There are so many jobs where I could have used this tool before.

I would love to utilize the HubSpot conversational marketing chat feature, HubBot, but unfortunately it requires an extra cost to have the Bot information be sent directly to a rep for more information. So instead it would just be a bot that tells people someone will reach out to them soon -- not exactly helpful when someone is on our site and interested enough to interact with the chatbot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to creating a HubSpot pillar page for one of my blogs, and creating links to and from that blog to the other blogs that made up that pillar page, I had the best results I've ever seen. I published the blog and in just one week, it got to the first page of the Google search results, landing at #6 out of over 735,000 results. VERY impressed!

I'm also certified in HubSpot Content Marketing and that was a fabulous course and also beneficial in my current job, as it taught me about the HubSpot pillar pages, which led me to getting to that first page of the Google search results. A boon all around.

We use HubSpot to keep on top of our contacts and alert sales reps quickly and automatically when new prospects that fall into their state territory visit our site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the move now. So important and I find myself promoting HubSpot to others all the time.
