Must Have Software for Start-up Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a fan of HubSpot from the first time I got a demo. It's a powerful tool that you can use in a lot of creative ways. It's not just a publishing and email tool. If you take the time to organize and use your contact list, you can personalize your content to match their needs. it was by far the most used martech product by our marketing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We became power-users and there were a few things we wished we could slice and dice better in terms of analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Incredible insights into how prospects interact with your brand
-Data to make better decisions of what content to provide customers
-Automation, Automation, Automation!
-Data to make better decisions of what content to provide customers

"Hubspot is the greatest resource for my website
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is actually a really intuitive resource. It is possible to get started making use of Hubspot even when you have not utilised a CRM ahead of. Also, the community forums along with the tutorials allow you to a good deal to determine factors out when you´re trapped on anything. The training as well as assistance HubSpot enables one to mature being a marketer, even when having virtually no background in the field. We're able to improve our site by building landing and main pages, monitor our website as well as social websites visitors, test out different types of gated content material, enhance our e-mail marketing campaign efforts and a whole lot
What do you dislike about the product?
You can find even now portions of the system that will be enhanced since often you must produce a good deal of repetitive steps to acquire the resource to operate on your total site
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hubspot, we´ve automatized virtually every portion of the purchaser's conversation with our internet site. We make our landing web pages and administrate every one of the pdf, movie and graphic data files on our web site from there, we make pop-ups to enable them to know after we have special discounts or gives, we make workflows so we will classify our buyers to generate them a personalised and far better expertise and we send out qualified mass e-mails dependent on this classification.

Is a good and easy-to-use device which you can use to further improve the connection with your consumers.
A Valuable Marketer Toolbox - Limited Technical Knowledge Required!
What do you like best about the product?
1) I enjoy using HubSpot because they provide all of the knowledge required to succeed as a powerful marketer. They make it easy to understand the design and features of their platform in relation to the latest marketing concepts and trends. Bouncing between the admin dashboard and the HubSpot academy proves to be a great opportunity to self-onboard. The training and support HubSpot allows one to grow as a marketer, even when having little to no background in the field. We're able to expand our website by building landing and pillar pages, monitor our website and social media traffic, experiment with different types of gated content, enhance our email campaign efforts and so much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
2) I thought the organization of the Admin dashboard was difficult to navigate at first but taking the Marketing Fundamentals three-day in-person training helped to connect the dots. One big setback would be the missing feature of copying work done in a Sandbox account over to the live account. We're a small marketing team and use the automation features in HubSpot to our advantage but having to redo work in both accounts takes way too much of our time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
3) As a small marketing team working at a global company, the integration with our Microsoft CRM has made it easier to compile the right contacts into segregated lists and takes away some of the manual admin work. Another advantage as a global company is that it’s an easy platform to share with marketing teams around the world. We can look at each other's communications, ask questions, recycle/copy content and run our own social platforms. To be able to automate emails and schedule social posts is a big timesaver. It takes time to create gated content and now with HubSpot, we are able to monitor and analyze the traffic looking at and downloading the content to see what works best and is more sought out by end-users. Using the Email feature has been giving us great insight as to who is looking at our communications and even helped us troubleshoot why some partners have been missing some mailings. Our team is not too technically savvy so the design tools to build forms and landing pages is a huge help. We’re able to expand our website without having to know code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a small marketing team, the automation software is a huge help. If you integrate with Microsoft CRM, make sure you have internal support that can help to oversee the syncing process. We used HubSpot partners and we had a really hard time fixing issues through a ticketing support system that was offered. If you are going to be the admin, I suggest reviewing the video training in the HubSpot Academy to familiarize yourself with their marketing concepts and how they layout the admin features/tools in the dashboard. Then, sign up for the in-person, three-day Marketing Fundamentals class, and this will help you to connect all of the dots and have a hands-on experience. It was a great way to network to see how others are going to use the tool and to already meet people in the local HubSpot community. The Community Social platforms are a great resource, too!
I will never use another Marketing platform other than HubSpot!
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is an extremely modern platform that is constantly updating its design, as well as its features, to comply with the ever changing trends of marketing. I always feel that my content looks the best it could look, that I'm pulling all of the data that I need and that
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some restrictions when pulling reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now handle all of my marketing out reach and sales follow up within one platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to dive deeper into your Marketing Analytics and streamline activity between your marketing and sales department, then HubSpot is the right platform for you.
An indispensable part of marketing and sales
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot has a very user friendly interface, and for the most part it leads you easily through the steps required for daily marketing tasks like email campaigns, adding new leads, tracking analytics, and keeping up with deals. The support team has always been very prompt and cheerful when I've contacted them, and they do their best to help every time. Trying to manage marketing and sales at our company without Hubspot would be immensely difficult. I appreciate how they incorporate many tools into one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of Hubspot seem underdeveloped compared to others; specifically, the landing page interface and the text editor for blog posts. It's weird - there are some parts of Hubspot that are cutting-edge, very intuitive - and then there are uneditable landing pages and glitchy blog posts. I understand that not all aspects of the platform are developed at the same pace, but because uploading articles and creating landing pages are two major parts of my job, I get frustrated with them often. It takes me hours to create simple landing pages that reflect our branding because of the landing page editor's shortcomings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have made our sales and marketing flow more streamlined through Hubspot. It enables us to upload leads and follow them through the sales process in much more detail and gives us an easily, all-in-one method for marketing to them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is worth a lot to our company, and depending on your needs, it could be very valuable to yours too. You have to take some time to get acquainted with the ins and outs, but it's easy to use overall and very helpful in the day to day.
Great service; loved the customer excellence team
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the entire onboarding process with my customer excellence manager; HubSpot has a unique and clean dashboard that's pretty easy to navigate and set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the blog and website builder tools; the don't have a graphical interface making it very hard to make even the tiniest changes without coding knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've surely learned how to use SEO to increase brand awareness. Our deals management process has also improved greatly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out their free sales and marketing plans - they are easy to set up and can give you a great overview about how they help your business process.
Fantastic marketing automation tool, great support and learning academy
What do you like best about the product?
I have used HubSpot in few companies from start-ups to medium-sized organisations and I have used all tools HubSpot provides including CRM, CMS (formerly called COS), Service HUB and even Ads Add-on. And based on my experirnce I think the key highlight is the user experience
Everything is very well connected, and you can see how they develop the tool with having the users in mind. I have used or tested other marketing automation tool and for me, HubSpot is extremely user-friendly, intuitive and definitely helps you to do your job faster and save valuable time.
When HubSpot shines the most is when it's connected to CRM. Either to their own Free CRM or I've used it connected to Salesforce (they have native integration which can be set up easily) and the biggest benefit (if set up correctly) is the possibility of automating and aligning marketing vs sales processes and data and analysing the full customer journey. As a marketer, I need to measure and analyse data for which you can use many reports or even develop your own reports (depends on the level of subscription)
Another huge benefit of connecting HubSpot to CRM is that you can provide your sales teams with valuable data and information about leads, prospects or customers behaviour.
By using lead scoring, progressive profiling and automation you can put leads qualification on autopilot and always provide your sales team only with the most qualified leads. And vice versa you can get extremely valuable info from Sales back for your nurture marketing programs.
And if you are considering building a new website or new CMS for your website, definitely at least check HubSpot CMS as there is one huge advantage if you built your website on this platform. You can actually use the data in HubSpot to provide personalised and smart (based on various criteria like lifecycle stage etc) content to your web visitors to increase your website metrics and mainly conversion rates.

Currently, the main downside for me is that I work for a company that uses Dynamics 365 and there is no native integration between D365 and HS like the one with Salesforce, however, there are some third party options that cost extra money or you can build your own integration.
And I'm sure there will be always things which can be improved in terms of the functionality, or the user experience but I can see that HubSpot is constantly working on improving those (for example recent updates of Email and Landing pages builder. I think it's important that HubSpot and any other similar marketing automation tools are "just" tools which won't fix your marketing (yes I have heard comments like ...now that we have HubSpot the leads will start coming..." or "we need HubSpot to do Inbound Marketing..." I simply thing that you definitely need to have a proper marketing strategy in place and use HubSpot or other tools to execute the strategy and to achieve your key goals and objectives.

1) Ability to measure and analyse data and performance.
Web analytics, Landing pages and web pages conversion rates, email stats, social media stats, full customer journey performance, A/B testing, CTA metrics, and analyses. This is absolutely critical for any modern marketing and growth strategies as marketing needs be aligned with the company's goals and we need to be able to analyse performance, ROI and whatever metrics you use and then optimise and improve your strategies and tactics. ANd you can do this (best when connected to CRM) with HubSpot.
Plus the insights which the Sales team or Customer Service team are getting are extremely valuable for them and can help them to either increase sales, reduce sales cycle or increase customer satisfaction and creating up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
2) Automate marketing processes and marketing vs sales alignment
I am comparing with my experience using other tools and I really think HubSpot is super easy to use and intuitive and it helped me and the marketing teams I worked with (and also Sales or Customer Service teams) to simplify and automate many processes and tasks which at the end is a great time saver for everyone.
By aligning marketing and sales you can not only improve and automate how and what leads or sales opportunities are delivered to sales but also what information you get back from sales (or even customer service / customer success / support etc) back to marketing. This can help marketers to personalise and optimise the customer experience and by that achieve their key goals and objectives.
I have used lead scoring, progressive profiling, smart CTAs, smart content, automated lead recycling processes, and automated lead and customer nurture programs and campaigns (all set up in HubSpot in cooperation with connected CRM) to successfully achieve or overachieve the targets.
3) HubSpot Academy
This is not necessarily about solving a problem by using the HS tools but I would like to highlight the Academy. It has been an amazing and extremely valuable learning platform for me for many years and I definitely recommend checking this up and even trying to complete some of their free courses and certifications.

Always first develop your strategies and then consider which tools would be best for you.
Powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
The hubspot platform is very powerful and well built. It helps us organize our marketing strategy. I also love all the resources they provide to help creating a content strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We are pretty immature users so I’m sure there is a lot more we could do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing content strategy and workflows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is not easy to use without proper training but it is really beautifully built. The certification is a must.
Love HubSpot...
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use! Everything is just a "tab" away. The dashboard and reports are easy to understand. The support for HubSpot is amazing. We had a few glitches with our blog posts, and the HubSpot support helped us for over an hour to find that it was just a weird happenstance. They took the time to figure out what was going on because content marketing is a huge priority for us. I also have used Pardot, and HubSpot is so much better than Pardot. For simple "Marketing" efforts, it provides everything you need. I also like that it has the ability to link to your website so you can build blog posts right from HubSpot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit expensive if you're using Sales, Marketing, and CRM. It's also very robust, so for smaller businesses, it was not the right option for us. After you connect with HubSpot, you will get a lot of emails from HubSpot team members trying to sell you things, asking if you want additional information, etc. I've had to unsubscribe to about 5 different HubSpot emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a better way to consolidate all marketing efforts, and wanted to write blogs, manage website, and contact database all-in-one.
HubSpot-ting a good CRM!
What do you like best about the product?
The UX - It is so simple that with a basic training session, I can kick off a new starter in our business and with the use of the tool, have our marketing and business development streamlined and centralized.I also like the subscription model - you get the CRM component for free and pay for the tiers for marketing, sales and reporting. HubSpot have also released a great new drag-and-drop function for the marketing team to use to create emails and this is far more user friendly than having a team of marketing consultant try and use a module builder and saves costs on HTML developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still room for functionality growth within HubSpot I would love to be able to see some of the campaign metrics and Social monitoring and reporting be able to be added to Dashboards. This would be hugely beneficial for high-level reporting for management functions. It would also be great to be able to export a list of HubSpot users within our account and their relative permissions. Security is at the forefront of our mind's here at Quantium and having to do this manually is extremely cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to streamline and centralize our business development efforts while being able to build analytics and reporting to derive meaningful data to make future business decisions. We have also been able to use automation to aid our client leads in their work.
