An Honest Review of HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a great platform to communicate with and nurture your prospects and customers. From creating lead landing pages, to full on websites, with HubSpot you can do it all! This platform has so many different features and will definitely take some time to master, but it's worth the investment of your time. They have excellent customer service and their support team is one of the best I've ever worked with. HubSpot is definitely the leading CRM of the industry. On top of their amazing platform, they also provide free training course to understand Inbound marketing and many other topics. I'd rate Hubspot a 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about HubSpot is that you definitely need coding knowledge to implement different features etc. on your website. If you already have an in-house developer, then you won't have a problem. Although, if you lack coding knowledge, you may find yourself having trouble implementing certain changes if you choose to use HubSpot to host your website. Another thing is that you're only allowed a limited amount of brand domains. Our organization owns many domains and they charge quite a bit of money to add more that the allotted amount of domains (I believe it is two). Right now if you want to host more than two, there is a $700 charge for each additional domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've solved the problem of learning how to communicate effectively with our prospects and customers. With the detailed workflow features and analytics, we have a better understanding of how and when to communicate with people interested in our company. Also, our customer communication skills have grown tremendously. There is so much visibility into your contact activity and the effectiveness of emails, ads, etc. HubSpot integrated with most digital marketing softwares as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're interested in using HubSpot as your CRM, I would schedule a demo with the company first. They do an excellent job in explaining the many features HubSpot provides.
I love HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is very user-friendly, it's simple to navigate, the functionalities are very beneficial for my business, and I love the customization availabilities of website pages and emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I dislike about HubSpot, although our business would love a cart and check-out implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses HubSpot to host our website, post to social, send emails, and manage contacts. Our HubSpot rep is always available to help us in any way we need.
HubSpot is really useful for my company
What do you like best about the product?
I like the webhooks. As a developer, I found it easy to set up and monitor. The tool is pretty fun and it's made a big difference for my team because it helps me automate populating data into our contacts. The API isn't too bad, either. I've found a couple of bugs, but it's pretty robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could limit the request size. Sometimes HS is sending me 2MB of data for a contact when I only need a small portion of that. It seems wasteful on both sides. If I could specify which contact properties to include, it would cut down on the payload significantly. I also wish the support got back to me a little faster and gave more frequent updates on the status of my support tickets. Sometimes I wait a week for a response. I don't want to bug them if they're working on it, I know they're probably busy and sometimes my issues are highly technical, but I just want to make sure they haven't forgotten about me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use HubSpot for lead generation and I specifically use it to keep the database updated for my team. They seem happy with the results, but I don't actually see a lot of the realization of that.
Great Experience with HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
Tons of different resources and helpful staff. If you are stuck trying to figure something out they are a call away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to get a mentor or something without having to pay for the expensive blocks. It would be great to have an hour with a rep each month with the prof marketing package to help guide you as you go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database management, email marketing, content creation and posting. Much easier to organize and streamline marketing and sales efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you aren't marketing or engaging your clients already this is one of the best and easiest ways to start. You don't have to know anything about marketing to start because of all the in depth training and videos they provide.
Comprehensive Platform & Great Community
What do you like best about the product?
I can manage social media postings, emails, and our company website from one place. This also makes it easier to see data across multiple modes of communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to be able to tag individuals and businesses in social media posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating efficiencies and leveraging data. With one workflow I was able to start measuring the value of our third-party marketing sites while also saving time for my sales team.
It's a big system with lots of capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there's so much functionality and tracking with regards to sales and marketing, that they have lots of educational resources and good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very clunky and slows down the website (if you use it as a CMS), I'm always coming across small bugs, and it's limited with regards to how your web pages can look (limited templates available). The social media management function has very limited capabilities, but I feel I'm tied to it for campaign tracking purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for inbound and lead nurturing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is great, but it doesn't do any one function better than another provider out there (and many functions are nowhere near as good). There are options to build a website with plenty of plugins to achieve similar functionality. What it does do is make it easy to have all your sales, marketing, and website all on one platform (especially good for people who aren't experienced at this), amazing educational resources that teach companies best practice and excellent customer support. This would be a good platform if you're not sure what you're doing.
Great for Contact/Content Management. Constant Improvements.
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a great tool for contact and content management. We have also hosted our website on it for several years. They're always adding new features to make it better, and now we even have a fantastic Customer Success Rep who gives us the 411 on upcoming features and guides us in using the platform. They also have other specialists on hand to review various tools like Google Ads which are integrated into HubSpot. They can take a look at your account and give you suggestions for how to improve. One of our favorite features is the ability to schedule posts on social media. This has made it easier to batch content and see what's working. Also lately HubSpot has been adding so many new apps to their marketplace that help integrate more tools we already use and introduce us to new ones. They have also been very on top of developing new features to implement into their website page, landing page, and blog builders. Also their email templates and builder have been greatly improved. I do not have to rely on third party add-ons as much as I used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're hosting your website on HubSpot and need to customize something, make sure you have a Web Specialist on hand to assist you because you will need to go into the code to make adjustments. It would be very helpful to receive a monthly newsletter when new features are added, but at least we have our Customer Success Manager to inform us of the changes during our monthly meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The lead cycle is long for our industry so we needed to find a way to keep customers coming back to our site. Through the use of HubSpot's workflows and personas, we were able to increase the number of people returning to our site which eventually led to more sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take advantage of the personas and workflows. A lot of other HubSpot users I have spoken to are always apprehensive about using them. It can be tedious in the beginning because you really have to stop and think about what types of emails and content you are providing for each persona. However, once you're all set up, you're good to go. Also, people always get nervous about using personas because they feel they have to figure out how to label each customer. What we did was put the personas right in our forms so people can choose their own. This was much better than having our staff play a guessing game and mislabel customers. Work smarter, not harder.
ADS for 360 marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot allow you to have all your marketing tools in the same place, so you can know the most succesful strategies to lead generation and replicate it. The Ads tool is very easy, intuitive to use: we love to have the lead ads contacts integrated in Hubspot, so we can follow up and nurture all our leads.

What do you dislike about the product?
About the ads tool: only one member of our team is allowed to create a new ads campaign in Hubspot. It could be very usefull to let another member of the team do this action.
The metrics don't recognize the new contacts and the contact reconversion, it could help us to know if our ads are being usefull to expand our audience or nuture the existent data base.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing and sales team integration, communication with our clients, lead generation. We have incremented our website traffic and conversion rate using hubspot with a content strategy focus on our customers needs.
Now, we see the ads as one important part of our strategy, but not all the marketing strategy. We can know wich type of content is really helping us to our bussines goals.
The most important part of using Hubspot is to have a customer centered marketing process, and collect a lot of explicit and implicit data about our leads, so we can plane new strategies and products based on data.

HubSpot Review (AWESOME!)
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is extremely helpful and self-intuitive. One thing I really like is how easy it is to upload images to specific folders for each page. The analytics are extremely easy to organize - and this website platform even allows you to see optimization techniques and what words were searched for your page. It's a clean, organized site, with amazing customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish was different was re-naming campaigns and re-naming folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not having any problems with HubSpot - only positive benefits! We have our entire site on HubSpot and have been extremely proficient in utilizing all the tools in our subscription.

Utilize your representative and continue to be active in the community!
Excellent for Small Marketing Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Having a single place to manage web, social media and email content with simple analytics to show results is ideal for a small marketing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social media reporting not being integrated into other analytics. Prefer them together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT has allowed us to launch a new brand as a sub-brand to our primary with full social media, email, website and landing pages.

For teams who focus on content, Hubspot lets you focus on pushing quality copy out rather than struggling with layouts and other typical website difficulties.
