HubSpot makes managing a website so easy!

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is both the easiest web design tool I've used, as well as the best marketing/contact management tool I've used. Almost everything about HubSpot is intuitive. Their customer service is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish webpage and email templates were a bit more customizable, but I suppose that what's you sacrifice with something that's so user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so easy to track our leads with HubSpot, and be able to answer the question "how did you hear about us", without having to bother most of our leads by actually asking them that question.

Best All In Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the features that hubspot provides under one hub. For companies like ours, were able to manage everything from emails, websites, landing pages, leads etc. Very efficient and there customer service is phenomenal. Always there to help until your issue is resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I love everything about hubspot. I would say one area of improvement could be with there website template providers. I’ve found template code issues and after reaching out to the provider I never heard back. Maybe hubspot can ease that connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several. Everything from email marketing, managing social media, analytics, website, landing pages, leads etc.

A music for companies wanting to grow their audience and see it in real time!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, regular updates and changes. No issues with it not being online, very reliable a robust. An excellent team of support to answer every type of problem you make come across, from solving website technical questions to offering advice for reporting. Hubspot makes it easier to notice trends in customer engagement, from seeing the pages a lead has read, what campaign got them into the CRM, the timeline of statistics over a period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps that some obvious things cant be done, exporting and searching through email content seems to be very limited. The service requests with the biggest amount of user support for change often get ignored, and a new update which wasn't needed gets rolled out. Quick similar to Apple when they announce a new app for their watch that calculates the energy you've burned while doing yoga, but the users wanted a more durable charger for their iPhone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps users to have a central place to support our leads, helps teams to act on behalf of others when they are away.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great tool to get your business off the ground, we used the Start-Up which we have grown with over the past 2/3 years. We have seen team members learn and grow with this tool over time.

The best all-in-1 marketing platform for lead, website, email, and social media management

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best aspects of Hubspot is the fact that you can unite your efforts in website design, blogging, email marketing, social publishing, and lead management all in one platform. The tools are similar across various functions and it makes it easy to deploy common assets across various mediums.
What do you dislike about the product?
This will come off more like a back-handed compliment but there is not a lot to dislike. One thing that can sometimes be a source of frustration is the rapid pace of change at Hubspot. They're always innovating and the tools are always changing, usually for the better. It can be a challenge to stay abreast of the updates, and you'll want to stay up to date on your training. Honestly though, it is exciting to use a tool whose makers are constantly working to innovate. If you've ever been saddled with a dead tool that never updates and stays current with technology, you won't experience that here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving many problems with HubSpot. We started with replacing old marketing techniques that were disparate - direct mail, printed handouts, blogs and microsites - uniting them under the same platform. We moved on to utilizing new techniques like drip campaigns and A/B testing to hone our approach and maximize engagement. From new account campaigns to re-engagement campaigns and event marketing, most of our marketing efforts flow through, or are complimented by, Hubspot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I evaluated several platforms before going with Hubspot, including Marketo and ActOn. Hubspot seemed like the best fit for my organization based on the wide feature set and the onboarding experience. I have not been disappointed. We find new ways to use Hubspot to grow our business all the time and it's exciting to see the platform grow as well.

A versatile, user friendly CMS

What do you like best about the product?
For strategists: It’s built around Hubspot’s inbound methodology, which is pretty much accepted in the marketing world today as a viable approach, so you get the tool and the process. They have an academy with loads of training videos.

For developers: Their developers tools section makes it extremely easy to rapidly test out new custom modules that you can swap into new or existing templates. You can also make your own templates there too of course - but the custom modules are where you can make the fun shiny things.

For content creators: It’s really easy to update your digital channels with content through Hibspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels as if they’re making it difficult to implement custom code if they have a partnership with a paying vendor (ahem - Viddyard Video, I’m looking at you!!).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot let’s our team focus on making content.
- We can update digital channels with less effort
- We have a clear picture of how our audience is engaging content and campaigns
- We all understand Inbound
- Same-day support on technical issues (I’ve submitted many since I develop custom modules and do get stick from time to time! They’re responsive as helpful)

In-depth and Resourceful

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The in-depth knowledge gained by the reporting system on the site. It's very useful and helpful information that shows which blogs perform the best and what's not performing, better yet, I love that I can create personas and I can track how I specifically do with that audience. Placing my writings inside of the Inline Editor makes my blogs look pretty while I organize and craft them, other platforms stick with a rather meh and bland look.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little tricky to navigate as the dashboard really can get cluttered, but after you learn you'll love it. There's really nothing all too wrong with Hubspot, it's a very useful tool that can show you a lot of fantastic metrics. The certifications are also a little odd and time consuming to obtain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said above, being able to see how I am engaging with certain audiences makes it worthwhile in itself. The metrics and reporting on the site are the best asset and scheduling blogs is a lot easier than most platforms.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not only is HubSpot amazingly easy to use, but it also makes it fun to create content and web experiences. Since transitioning over to the HubSpot CMS for our blog and website, it has been tremendous to have all of our assets in one platform. Now, everyone on our team can make easy fixes to our website and see all of our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting features are not useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration across the team, simple website management, social media management, contact/MQL tracking, email marketing and analytics

The most essential business development tool we have besides people

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot does everything. In addition to hosting our website, we use it for crm, email automation, analytics and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features, like PPC ads, are just dumbed down versions of tools you can get elsewhere for free. However, it is nice that they are all accessible in the same place, without having to leave my dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot's codeless web design tools have allowed a coding beginner like me to build pages in minutes instead of days. Automation workflows have saved our sales team countless man hours.

Must-have tool for every marketer

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Seamless Salesforce integration
- Landing Page Builder and Design Manager, HTML capabilities
- Email builder, lists and Workflow
What do you dislike about the product?
The Workflows lack some important time filters/conditions, especially when trying to set up a workflow for recurring tasks. Example: No direct option to enable an action after an email was sent out "in the last 30 days" or "in the last 7 days". A more complicated workaround can be created with delays. This is only a triviality though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to entirely set up HubSpot mainly as our lead generation platform for email marketing, with additional automation between marketing and sales teams. Starting this year, I've implemented our account management team into Hubspot with their customer workflows and processes and completely backed up with data from our CRM, Salesforce. Additionally, we use HubSpot for event management, content management, inbound marketing and analytics. Our marketing team couldn't function anymore without HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A solid html template setup is a strong benefit for us. We have 5-10 main templates we use for landing pages and emails (in our company CI and homepage design) that took a while to set up correctly, but are really useful when integrated correctly (with HubL).

Great automation features!

What do you like best about the product?
Workflows, segmentation, automation and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
contacts interface and the fact that website tools are split in two - design manager and page-level editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has helped us segment our audiences and saves time by doing things automatically.
