Circle ci is the sliced bread of cicd pipelining
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive ui and notifications make it sweet. Having the ability to set env variables in different scopes is really great as well. Coding the config for ci is super simple and linking with docker images.
What do you dislike about the product?
Relying on cloud infra to keep our jobs running. I understand there is an SLA, but there have been many times where jobs fail, we troubleshoot only to find cci went down and didn't alert us until after the fact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Entire builds get tested and deployed thru circle ci. When we have new schema changes and updates the pipeline automatically updates the db. Performance has increased and cci is now the new norm.
A good CI solution for a quick start
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Circle CI for Maven-based projects. The best thing about the CircleCI is its ability to quick and smooth integration with Github. Its OOTB integration with Slack and Jira is also very helpful to track and discuss the deployments on the fly. One's ability to edit and test CircleCI config files through a web browser is also a very good feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way CircleCI provide to manage environment variables is a bit messy. It's very confusing when we refer to Organization level variables and Environments variables in circleci.yaml file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using CircleCI with various types of technologies in our organization. We mostly use it for our Java-Maven (MuleSoft) based applications and PHP based applications.
Made the CI configurations very easy with comfortable UI and features
What do you like best about the product?
Configuring a project is easy with CircleCI compared to other CI tools. And the UI is much more straightforward. Even a beginner can understand and perform the tasks.
We can follow and unfollow the projects so we can get the Email notifications of the builds with status. Its a handy feature to have for a CI tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing such to highlight. But when we go to a project and filter the project by Branch Name; it is a little messy with reduced resolutions. Such as on a mobile screen or a tab.
But everything else works great.
But everything else works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the project executions are done on CIrcleCI. Everythng is configured to run upon push and merge. I get the email notifications upon failure. Also, we have enabled to take the screenshots upton test failure as i mostly work in test automation.
Good but needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and also we mostly use it as backup
What do you dislike about the product?
The different configurations needed for various pipelines, circle ci should make it a bit similar to others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CICD
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I found it very easy to set up and it has been easy to make any changes when needed. The doc support is great and we have not found any feature gaps that have caused an issue for us
What do you dislike about the product?
The reliability could be improved. I honestly don't have much to compare to, but I would say probably about once a quarter, there is some sort of issue that blocks us temporarily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use circle for deployment. Honestly it was already in use when I joined the company so I am not sure how things were before, but it does make things easy for new employees

What do you dislike about the product?
Going back to the service from settings takes a few more clicks than it should
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy to Use, Trusted with all our deployments
What do you like best about the product?
It's tightly integrated with Github which makes it easy to take code directly to builds.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy for a newcomer to figure out where everything is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the historic builds are difficult to find.
Best CI/CD tool

What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't see any issue with CircleCI as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unit testing
Great for Standardizing App Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
It makes repeated processes a lot easier to manage. I don't have to remember to run specs every time I create a PR, and I can deploy our application to any environment with a simple merge in GitHub.
I love how I can see that our specs passed on my PR right from GitHub, and then click through to directly see any failed specs. From there, I can select it to rerun the specs, which is also super handy as, sometimes, a random spec will fail.
When reviewing, this makes it nice for the whole team to ensure our code isn't going to break anything unintentionally.

What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI took a little bit to get used to. There was a lot of change, but after a week, I really appreciated the new designs and layouts.
It is a bit confusing to first get around, but our DevOps engineer gave us some tutorials and that really helped. Now I'm really comfortable clicking around inside the CircleCI interface.
I am unfamiliar with how to create workflows in CircleCI, but I don't think it's terribly difficult.

Our whole team can deploy our application seamlessly now with a quick merge into designated GitHub branches, and all of our PRs automatically run all our specs, which is then reflected back in GitHub.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It can save you a lot of time. We used to build and deploy our Angular app on our local machines, which meant being unable to work for 20-30 minutes sometimes.
