Great addition to SCOM
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can connect to APIs and Databases as integrations. The application is easy to use. Customer service is outstanding. I use SquaredUp everyday. I look at a dashboard as soon as I clock in. Extremely to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to put multiple servers in maintenance mode at one time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SquaredUp makes server mangement extremly easy. I am able to give our SOC insight to the servers, also able to give insight to our Operations Center with squared up Dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
I especially like the fast access to performance data and the open access dashboard

There is nothing that I dislike about SCOM Dashboard Server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast report generation compared to the SCOM GUI is a big plus.

What do you like best about the product?
SquaredUp allows you to quickly and easily create your own production dashboard. Its directly integrated alongside SCOM and facilitates the feedback of essential information.
The teams have a direct view of the state of health of the production. The visio diagram import functionality and the possibility of having dynamic dashboards is just incredible.

What do you dislike about the product?
No negative things ; the constant developments make it possible to compensate for the shortcomings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SCOM does not provide a simple and effective view of the state of health of its information system
Great way to see the SCOM data
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful benefit is that you can easily visualize data that the SCOM interface is highly challenged to do! Also, as admin's get used to it, they can easily lèverait to their own needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot recall any dislike, out the so many users talk about it and share the link to it that we are lacking user licences ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing and visualizing the SCOM data is the Uber need! Having Many ways to publish the data form is great!

It just makes fun to use it.

It can serve as an ideal replacement for the Operations Manager console. It is modern, fast responding, and never feels bored.
SquaredUp lives a Customer-first attitude and offers excellent support. Feature requests are considered and also appreciated.

It is easy to spend a lot of time with this tool. It is addictive after having the first successful dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With it we are reducing the silos between the teams. SquaredUp unites information from Hypervisor, Server-OS, Services, Databases,
Network, Cloud (Azure Log Analytics, Elastic Search, Azure Application Insights) and Applications over various connectors and common APIs.
We are having a single view of the application state which reduces MTTR (Meant time to recover) in case of a failure. The root lead can be found significantly faster. - Especially with distributed and Hybrid systems.
Last, it improves the daily efficiency for "log checking" and "performance checks" which helps to spot potential issues on first sight.

Expand SCOM value to the whole business
What do you like best about the product?
While there is a need to understand the SCOM health model to get the most value out of SquaredUp, it makes it possible to deliver a view on Enterprise applications and overall service levels to the business and end-users. We use it to deliver the health state to the customer as a service provider. It allows the customer to focus on the overall health rather than individual components and incidents. Integrations with other sources of information ( we used Azure REST, Citrix NITRO, SQL queries for instance) deliver on the single pane of glass promise. You can create a lot of dashboards without specific knowledge of the product and then add more advanced techniques later on.
What do you dislike about the product?
As it relies on IIS, it inherits the issues with Kerberos and multiple authentication domains. It does not have all extensibility features of Grafana, for instance but does trade that for an easier learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deliver the right amount of information to non-technical employees and customers. Securely report on customer infrastructure health and service levels without exposing information belonging to shared infrastructure or other customers. Bring information together from multiple sources
Takes your SCOM installation to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use. It gives you the opportunity to present monitoring data for nontechnical users. Our developers love the fact that they can see the load on their systems when they run tests.
It speeds up the time investigating potential problems when you quickly can pull up and compare graphs between servers.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about this product. The only thing I can think of right now is that is kind of tricky to limit which dashboards that will be accessible for external users.
I have created a solution via URL rewrite to handle those dashboard I want to be visible for the whole world.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to give access to monitoring data to non scom admins. The benefits are faster solutions to problem and less questions about those red and yellow dots.
