Easy Backup & Restore, excellent for DR solution

Auto failover is not available. And also looking for some group wise replication

its seems like a good product. For cloud backup there is not much players currently and veeam stands out as a leader

I am not using veeam with azure but I am using it with physical environment. I like the replication and backing up to different media for extra protection

Automatic Failover to backup or repluca server

Veeam backup & restore works perfectly in Azure Cloud!
What do you like best about the product?
I like Veeam for the fast backup, instant restore, and replication! Because it gives me the confidence level for my company not only to protect the valuable data but also able to recover it at the speed the businesses are demanding! Veeam provides a lot of upsides to my company which gives me peace of mind and enables us to focus on delivering IT projects!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing dislike, from my experiences, Veeam works very well in Azure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam hardened repository immutability is awesome! Because it's solved the ransomware attack worry! It's prevented ransomware encrypt the valuable data and allow me to restore in the event of ransomware attack!
Veeam Azure backup review
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. Setting up policies and backups do not require much effort. There are some instructions you do need to follow to put up the appliance and do the initial setup which took a while. Instructions can be better and more detailed but does not explain the reasoning for some of the setup such as setting up service accounts and having multiple accounts for backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the items described above. More documentation is needed to explain some of the reasoning of the setup for security reasons. I am still not 100% sure if my environment is secure and best practices of the setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
for backing up virtual machines and prevent malware and ransomware failures. Snapshots are a huge benefit for this for us.
Quick and easy VM backups
What do you like best about the product?
The install was straightforward, well documented, and took less than an hour to get going.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product works great and if you have the full blown Veeam Suite of software you can then offload a copy of your backups to AWS or another storage system. I would like this function to be built into Veeam for Azure so I don't need another server and console to make a duplicate copy of my backups outside of Azure storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DR in the event that something happens to our Azure VMs. The benefit is long term retention of each critical Azure VM that we're protecting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a solid product with great tech support. Even for the free trial they were super helpful.

Confidence in reliability. Of course, DR is crucial, so when a system just feels reliable day in and day out it makes a difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still a bit pricey for a small operation.

Disaster Recovery solutions for Virtual Machines and multiple sites.

Be prepared before you buy (before the clock starts.) Read all the information on setup and infrastructure application/requirements.
Easy and Straightforward Setup Process
What do you like best about the product?
The setup process is straightforward, and I like the integration with VBR Console too. I like the fact that you can manage Azure Backup Jobs from the console. Single pane of glass at its finest.
What do you dislike about the product?
I ran into some hiccups during my testing. For instance, I could not deploy the Azure appliance, but I resolved it by just restarting the application. It may not be a big issue for people with patience, but this may also lead other people to dig deep and troubleshoot unnecessarily.

Go try it out. Very simple and easy to use especially the setup process!

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of setup and use were all on point. The power that Veeam for Azure has is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that I would like to see added is the ability to restore from cloud to VMware eSXI natively.
