Resilio: Highly Customizable and User-Friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Fit for purpose, advanced customization, ease of use and good support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but would be good if we have more useful video tutorials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it application data sync across our offshore and onshore locations
Reliable Global File Sharing, Excellent Support—Upgrade Process Needs Streamlining
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Resilio to share files to and from our fleet all over the world. Even with very slow connections this works really good.
Compared to the previous solution we need a lot less maintenance and users are now even asking to expand the scope to endpoints we did not even know of.
Very happy with the support too.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface may be improved somewhat.
And the upgrade procedure takes hours to complete in our situation, and upgrading the agents is not managed by the Resilio console. That would be very helpful if they implement an automatic update system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files over slow connections is a challenge sometimes. But Resilio gets it done.
Set-It-and-Forget-It Solution, Though Support Could Be Faster when called upon
What do you like best about the product?
It works better than our previous solution from NetApp. They discontinued their product, and we found this one. So far, we've had to deal with a few issues that required a little attention, but this product is basically set it and forget it. This solution has made working from San Diego to Melbourne Australia very pleasant for my users in San Diego. You can hardly tell a different in speed from wither location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Originally, support requests weren't getting resolved as fast as expected. There's still a little lag with support in comparison with our previous product. They had 3 guys that handled all support calls, all were well versed in the product and were able to resolve support calls in a very short time. All 3 were level 2/3 support, so most issues were resolved on the front line and didn't need to get escalated to Dev.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File acceleration from San Diego - US to Melbourne Australia. It's working great.
Still evaluating, but the concept looks promising
What do you like best about the product?
The website and documentation are laid out well and explain the features in plain language. I like the emphasis on control and security.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t tried the product yet, so I can’t speak to real-world performance. An easier way to sample or test would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently evaluating the product. From the overview, it appears designed to solve challenges around moving large files quickly and securely without relying fully on cloud providers. This could benefit teams that need more control over their data and faster peer-to-peer transfers.
Reliable File Sync with Impressive Speed
What do you like best about the product?
I like how fast and reliable the synchronization is. Large files transfer smoothly across multiple devices, and the platform ensures everything stays current without manual intervention. The ability to work seamlessly across environments has been a huge productivity boost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup takes some time, and the documentation could be clearer for first-time users. A more guided onboarding process or wizard would make it easier to configure advanced settings without trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resilio Active Everywhere keeps our files synced across devices in real time, eliminating delays and manual transfers. It improves collaboration, saves time, and ensures data is always available when we need it.
Resilio works great with Citrix
What do you like best about the product?
Sync method, easy configuration, support is great
What do you dislike about the product?
users' profiles aren't sync while vhdx is locked, vhdx can be synced only as one file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
syncing users' profiles in 2 different locations.
It works when it works, but it's not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
The easability of using the product to sync data from one storage to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the end, it's still a file base syncing, so it'll never be better than block level snapshots and backup. Still has a bunch of technical issues like fail to sync files/folders for whatever reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our DR problem in Azure.
This was the answer we needed to get our remote teams up and running smoothly
What do you like best about the product?
Once the bugs have been worked out is a very set it and forget it type of app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that moved from included with the main package to paid add ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a number of remote workers doing lots of graphics design that all over the US. This made them be able to work together on things without the wait of downloading and without the head ache of undoing each others progress.
Easy and fast syncing
What do you like best about the product?
We're using Resilio to sync our on prem data to secure storage in the cloud. After working out some setup details and sorting through AD issues, we are up and running smoothly, with no loss of connectivity and perfect syncing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than the initial setup hiccups, there is nothing that isn't working as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By having our data synced to the cloud, we can utilize AWS VDI without experiencing the lag to our on prem storage. Artists working on cloud machines experience a feel as though they are local to the storage, with no long save and load times and no lag. This allows us to scale our workstations up and down as needed, without the need for more complicated machine rentals.
Excellent file sync for AutoCAD
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to utilize file sync between file servers at remote sites without the need to utilize remote desktop software or slow VPN connections. Tech support has been excellent for every issue and the reps I have talked to have all been US based and easy to communicate with. Customer service seems to be a high priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost to synchronize multiple data servers is based on the maximum usage model so other servers cannot be sync'd at lower speeds or with lower priority and data usage. Adding a 3rd server to the sync at a different location for two users is very cost prohibitive for the few projects they collaborate on with the other offices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need to have remote PC's in the main office to allow remote users access to our local files.
