A powerful planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
I recently had the opportunity to use Jedox, and I must say, it’s an impressive planning tool that stands out for its capabilities and user-friendliness.
Jedox excels in providing a robust platform for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. One of its strongest points is its powerful planning functionalities, which are adaptable to various industries and business needs. The software is highly customizable, allowing you to tailor workflows, dashboards, and reports to match your specific requirements.
What I appreciated the most is how easy it is to get started. The intuitive interface and helpful resources made the onboarding process smooth, even for those without extensive technical expertise. Additionally, the integration with tools like Excel and cloud-based services ensures that transitioning to Jedox is seamless and efficient.
I would recommend to any organization looking to enhance its planning processes.

Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Tool for Budgeting and Forecasting - Both setting up and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Enables us to use live accounting data to forecast and anticpate future requirements and forecast profitability. Enables us to see when we may need extra finance, How to time our forex hedging, reporting actuals against forecast. Enables us to report to and use excel. We have a great facilitator in Barry Gibbs who manages to get everything working in an easy and straightforward way. Very flexible and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The method of expanding from summary to detailed in the reports is clunky. Would be nice if I could select the option to show all detailed rather than having to select each heading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to see and plan forward. Able to set up a complete forex hedging program out 12 months. Make sure we have appropriate finance available when we need it. Banks much happier to loan when they see there is a plan around it.

What do you like best about the product?
Creation and adaptability to our reporting and forecasting requrements. We've retired a ton of inconsistent reporting databooks and enabled ELT & SLT to proactively review and manage their P&Ls and Forecasts. As a result our team now has free time to analyse and delve into allsorts with the Ops managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Presenting detailed reports via a browsr not too user friendy when streaming across sites. Could be a fault on our end relying on a report to do it all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clean current trustworthy P&Ls available at any time, mitigates risk in databooks and frees up time. Forecasting much quicker - consolidating perpetually evolving revenue pipelines across 100+ divisions was a huge burden in excel.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about this software is its smooth and relatively fast implementation. It allowed us to start with the basics and gradually add more functionality as we became comfortable with it. Initially, we implemented it as a reporting tool across multiple subsidiaries, customizing the reporting structure to align with our specific business needs. We were then able to automate the consolidation of our figures in a dedicated group consolidation tool, which offered a more standardized reporting format.
Another standout feature is the user-friendly interface, which our end-users really appreciate. The dashboards and standard reports provide clear insights and make data easy to interpret, which has been a game-changer for our budgeting process. We were able to implement the budgeting module shortly after, helping us streamline planning and reporting. Overall, the software adapts well to different phases of our growth and changing requirements, which is invaluable for our business

What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is tracking changes within the tool, as it’s not as intuitive as it could be, making it harder to see what’s been adjusted and when. Additionally, setting up custom reports and dashboards requires a decent amount of training to get right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has streamlined reporting across multiple subsidiaries, enabling us to consolidate financial data more efficiently and with fewer errors. This has notably increased the quality of our monthly review with local management, as we can now provide accurate, up-to-date insights that support better decision-making at each location. Additionally, the tool has automated our group consolidation process, ensuring consistent and reliable data for our overall financial reporting.
The budgeting module has also enhanced our ability to plan and track budgets, helping us stay aligned with our financial goals across departments. Overall, the software has improved our reporting accuracy and the quality of our financial insights, making it a valuable asset for our organization

Work related to budgeting process become much faster for me.
What do you like best about the product?
I don't need to generate dozens of data extractions in absolutely different formats, all formats standardized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't understand what happends in integrator. In case I would be asked to make changes, there would be problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a data analist in finance department. My responsibility to prepare datasets that Jedox should use as source. The main benefit that I have posibility to automate data jeneration because of standartized formats.
Good product with development potential

As being easy to use product, same time a lot of inbuild features complicate easy of product usage

Palnning and forecasting
obtaining standardized reports in various breakdowns, support Jedox team in formulating calculations
What do you like best about the product?
Possibility to quickly multiply a structure to additional objects (e.g. products, channels, branches...)
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have been more flexible to introduce exceptions. Also, some calculations can be difficult to trace as there is no ready-made formula for the respective calculation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once a structure is built, it can be immediately applied to additional products, branches or channels and included in consolidation wihtout much additional modeling.
FP&A Automation Platform Evaluation
What do you like best about the product?
Jedox's ability to integrate with so many different platforms. While the Excel and Google Sheets integration sounds basic, a lot of similar platforms do not offer such an integration. And in the case of those that do (Vena for example), the Excel/GSheets integration capabilities are limited in comparison with that of Jedox
What do you dislike about the product?
This can be both good and bad. The bad: 3rd party partners are harder to come by than that of a Workday Adaptive Insights, Oracle, SAP or Anaplan consultant. The good: services are cheaper and more hands-on (likely because Jedox has a smaller but more selective ecosystem of partners)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Performance Management and Planning. With the market the way it is these days, things are pretty unpredictable. It's the responsibility that continues evolving
Budget in Jedox
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful in Jedox is that it combines budget data with accounting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful in Jedox is that whenever any mistake occurs, we are not able to fix it ourselves. Also, sometimes when we switch to new year or rebudget, features, which were already working previous year or period, are broken again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just budgeting - it is great that we are able to view budgets for separate brands, countries, but also together based on our needs.
