Excellent Tool for Planning and Budgeting

Good tool for planning and budgeting, forecasting options

it is quite slow in case of more detailed, complex reports

What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers great flexibility for frequent changes, a broad range of integration options, and quick support whenever issues come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some glitches. Recently, I noticed that a few of my reports disappeared, even though I hadn't made any edits to them. Additionally, the drag and drop feature in dynamic reports occasionally stops working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing reliance on spreadsheets and with that the possibilities to make mistakes, eases report distribution, aids in data analysis.
Powerful Budgeting Tool with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Jedox for its capability to effectively eliminate manual errors, which is crucial in maintaining accuracy in my budgeting tasks. I particularly like how the cubes in Jedox work together seamlessly; if linked correctly, changes made in one place are correctly reflected everywhere, ensuring consistency and reliability of data across various sections. Additionally, I find it beneficial that Jedox integrates well with our existing databases to automatically pick up data, which enhances the workflow and data accessibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Jedox does not allow the use of repeated names across different countries. This limitation forces me to rename products differently even when they are the same, which complicates the organization process. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Jedox challenging because it required learning an entirely new system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jedox for budgeting, which helps eliminate manual errors. By linking cubes correctly, any changes update accurately, enhancing data integrity across systems.
Boosts Excel Efficiency, But Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Jedox because it allows me to have faster data access in Excel. This improved efficiency significantly enhances my workflow when managing data from our accounting system, making my tasks easier and quicker to complete.

I find the initial setup of Jedox not easy, which makes the onboarding process more challenging. This initial hurdle can be frustrating and time-consuming, especially for new users or teams transitioning to the platform.

I use Jedox to retrieve data from my accounting system, resulting in faster data access in Excel.
Seamless All-in-One Solution for Effortless Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I would say when we start using it so how smoothly everything fits together. Also the another thing is that it takes tasks that usually feel scattered like planning, reporting, working with date, put them in one place so you not need to constantly jump between tools. I also like it's flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such now, everything going perfectly till now.

It has solved the issues related of data being all over the place. Earlier we were having the multiple spreadsheets scattered around, reports were in different formats, and there was no clear way to track or update key business metrics in real time. Jedox has helped us by bringing everything into one place like forecasting, planning, reporting and analytics.

Jedox makes financial planning and analysis feel seamless. I love how it connects data from multiple systems like Excel, ERP, and CRM into one unified model, which saves tons of manual work. The flexibility to create dynamic forecasts, what-if scenarios, and real-time dashboards is a huge advantage. It’s especially great for automating reporting and giving decision-makers instant visibility into key performance metrics. The Excel-like interface makes it easy to use but much more powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and modeling process can be a bit complex for beginners, especially if you don’t have prior OLAP or data integration experience. Some advanced configuration requires technical knowledge, and training new users takes time. Also, while the web dashboards are great, the interface could be slightly more modern and faster when handling very large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jedox helps bring all of my business data together in one place, It eliminates the need for multiple spreadsheets by automating data consolidation and reporting. That saves a huge amount of time every month and reduces manual errors. The ability to run forecasts and “what-if” scenarios helps me plan better and make faster, data-driven decisions. It’s also great for tracking performance across multiple brands or departments in real time.

Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Tool for Budgeting and Forecasting - Both setting up and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Enables us to use live accounting data to forecast and anticpate future requirements and forecast profitability. Enables us to see when we may need extra finance, How to time our forex hedging, reporting actuals against forecast. Enables us to report to and use excel. We have a great facilitator in Barry Gibbs who manages to get everything working in an easy and straightforward way. Very flexible and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The method of expanding from summary to detailed in the reports is clunky. Would be nice if I could select the option to show all detailed rather than having to select each heading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to see and plan forward. Able to set up a complete forex hedging program out 12 months. Make sure we have appropriate finance available when we need it. Banks much happier to loan when they see there is a plan around it.

What do you like best about the product?
Creation and adaptability to our reporting and forecasting requrements. We've retired a ton of inconsistent reporting databooks and enabled ELT & SLT to proactively review and manage their P&Ls and Forecasts. As a result our team now has free time to analyse and delve into allsorts with the Ops managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Presenting detailed reports via a browsr not too user friendy when streaming across sites. Could be a fault on our end relying on a report to do it all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clean current trustworthy P&Ls available at any time, mitigates risk in databooks and frees up time. Forecasting much quicker - consolidating perpetually evolving revenue pipelines across 100+ divisions was a huge burden in excel.
